Il Villaggio Osteria

Pizza and cocktails were very good. Shared a Margarita pizza and the Olive cake for dessert.

This is a mixed review. The food is well priced and they have an amazing wine list. Overall the food itself was okay. I took pictures of what we got and it was either too salty or too bland. The concept and the idea is great. They have the best bread ever that they bring around. Maybe the pizza would have been better. Overall I would say the best thing this had going was the staff, the space, and the wine list. The food should be amazing but for some reason it just may have been over salted. I’d give it another chance with other items though.

Wonderful dining experience! We stumbled upon this one when our original plan fell through and the employees were so friendly and polite. Indoor atmosphere looked fancy, we were happy to sit on the patio in lovely weather. Food and service was exceptional…unique and delicious pizzas, appetizers and rockfish.

The atmosphere and the staff were wonderful. The wine list is incredible. The food, unfortunately, was unremarkable. Think Olive Garden? Oh, but we didn’t have the pizza and it does look delicious!

We had a great experience here. Our server Stefano was a doll. Very attentive and had great service. Food was good overall. The Salumi board would have been better if they offered cheese to pair. Our pizzas were delicious. There was a mix up with one of our pizzas that was delivered to another table but Stefano and a manager on duty were lovely and removed the pizza off our bill without us even asking.

I wish I had a better review to leave, but this was some of the worst restaurant service I have encountered. The food was wonderful and the restaurant was beautiful. Although, the hostess very rudely asked my entire dinner party if we were over the age of 18. The drinking age is 21, which means the appropriate question would have been to ask if we were over the age of 21 for liquor verification purposes. After a day of hiking the national parks, we did not have makeup on, but there was no reason to insinuate that we were children. The entire dinner party was well over the age of 21 and ordered glasses of wine with dinner. Again, verifying customers are 21 is appropriate. Asking customers if they are 18 is not relevant or acceptable. Professionalism on behalf of this hostess was incredibly poor. No managerial staff attempted to step in. The entire experience was really truly inappropriate. The hostess also mistyped our waitlist number. Mistakes happen. Although, we did wait much longer than our quoted time.

Update... Had dinner here again on our return visit to Jackson Hole. The pizzas we had were fantastic! Couldn't recommend II Villaggio Osteria highly enough... We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere the one night we dined at II Villaggio Osteria over our last ski season visit to the area. There are not a ton of restaurants in Teton Village, but we thought this place was pretty solid.

Fantastic service and excellent food. On the expensive side, but worth the cost.
