Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club

Had a fantastic day at Ile aux Cerfs! The logistics are quite smooth; the boat shuttle from Pointe Maurice departs every 20 minutes and only takes about 5–10 minutes to reach the island. The facilities are great, including a nice (though small) driving range and practice area to warm up. Just a heads-up for fellow golfers: the course is highly challenging. Between the volcanic rocks, water hazards, and thick rough, I lost quite a few balls—bring extras! My only gripes were that they don't provide course maps and they charge for bottled water, which feels a bit stingy for a premium club. Overall, though, a wonderful experience and a must-play!

Very difficult course to play, if you love a challenge and like your holes surrounded by water, this is the course for you. The course is very green and the rough is rough! The staff are so friendly and really helpful. We found a lot of papers & cigarette buds laying around in the bushes or on your way to the next hole. Both the ladies & mens restrooms were stinky and had wee on the floors. The ladies floors were wet. All and all it’s an okay experience.

Amazing golf course. We were lucky to play slow and chill but usually they have a lot of people in the morning time. Views near the Ocean are amazing, different interesting landscapes and obstacles.

Lovely golf course and in excellent condition. Tees, fairways and in particular the greens were great with some amazing views. The clubhouse was the perfect 19th for refreshments after the round. Having to arrive by boat made it all the more special.

Good golf course, not overly difficult, which makes it enjoyable for a relaxed round rather than a struggle. The course is well maintained and the setting is beautiful. The bar is on the expensive side, but to be fair the quality and views make it worth it. Shuttle service is convenient and well organised, which helps a lot given the location. Overall a solid experience and a nice place to play while in Mauritius.

It's like paradise, you can explore the island and be alone or you stay at the drop-off and be surrounded by people who want to sell you something. Food and drinks are expensive but it's not a budget place so you can't expect anything else..

Great golf course on an island, play the tees to your ability. Long carry’s required on the White and black tees. Beautiful views, beaches and access via boat required.

An iconic course ruined by dishonesty! We were looking forward to playing as one of our six courses during our Mauritius golf tour. All went well until after our game when our bags were stored with the Caddy Master/Starter for 30 mins while we had a post match refreshment …… during which time a range finder was taken from one of our groups bags. Our subsequent enquiry & complaint revealed nothing. A sad reflection on the integrity of the staff and the Shangri-La Hotel Group.
