Ilio Maris Hotel

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Ilio Maris in September. The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with anything I needed. The location is excellent – just a short walk to Mykonos Town, yet quiet enough to relax and enjoy the view. My room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely atmosphere. The pool area was beautiful, perfect for unwinding while overlooking the sea. Overall, the hotel has a very charming and friendly vibe that made my stay truly enjoyable. I would happily return!

We absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms are nice, overlooking the water and a beautiful pool. The staff is wonderful—Georgia at the front desk is awesome, so fantastic with recommendations and checking in on us. On our last morning, we had an early flight before breakfast opened, and she even came running out as we were getting into the van to give us a croissant so we’d have something to eat.||I wish we had gotten the names of the other front desk staff and the bellboy as they were all fantastic. Konstantinos (sp?) is beyond amazing—he almost made us feel as if we were his friends, and the drinks are wonderful.||It’s walkable to town, but be aware that it’s a chaotic traffic walk, so be prepared.||We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend staying here when in Mykonos. Staff was super helpful and friendly, especially Georgia who works the front desk. She went above and beyond to make sure everything we needed was taken care off. Amazing view, nice pool, good music. Breakfast included was very tasty.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Ilio Maris! We had a fantastic experience at Ilio Maris in Mykonos. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the town center and right next to the Fabrika bus station, which makes getting around the island incredibly easy. The hotel is spotless and the service is top-notch. A special mention to Georgia at the reception, who was always friendly, smiling, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay — she truly made us feel welcome. The pool area is stunning, with breathtaking views and a high-quality bar service. It’s a great spot to relax after a day at the beach. The breakfast buffet was varied and of good quality, with both sweet and savory options. Ilio Maris is ideal for couples looking for a relaxing and romantic stay close to all the action. Highly recommended — we can’t wait to come back!

Superb location. Friendly staff. Room with sea view was totally worth it. Bathroom and shower a little small but the only downside. Breakfast is everything you need. Staff will assist with telling you where to eat, rent an ATV/cat and airport transport (get Georgia to help you! She's the best)! Water in the pool was a little cold in mid-May but the sun was gorgeous and the sunbeds super comfy!

We were completely satisfied with our stay. The staff was polite and helpful, the room clean and comfortable & the location is ideal for easy access to all points of interest. The breakfast was delicious, excellent WiFi and free parking. We will definitely choose it again!

Top service! Where do I start? We spent 4 nights in Ilio Maris and had such a great time! The hotel is perfectly positioned one street over from Mykonos City (Chora) - 5 minutes walk and you are there. The position oh the hotel is also great for the view, you can see the entire city and the ports, and enjoy the sunsets from your balcony. The staff were amazing, Georgia and Dimitris specifically took care of everything we needed personally - food places, renting ATVs, places to see and go, everything. The rest of the staff were incredibly nice and attentive. Each day Georgia made sure all our needs were met, and share ideas of what to do on the island and even beyond (to neighboring islands). The breakfast is really good - eggs, ham, veggies, cheeses, bread, pastries, juices, coffee - everything you need. The room was good, with great view, and was cleaned everyday by the staff. The rooms has a small fridge but still quite big - we used it to put 5 1.5L bottles of water everyday (as water from the tap is undrinkable on the island). We were also given free water bottles upon our arrival. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel in our next Mykonos adventure.
