From the moment we arrived to celebrate our wedding anniversary, Hotel Ilma enveloped us in comfort and elegance. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the hotel were immediately apparent, setting a pristine stage for our special getaway. To our delight, the hotel staff, with their friendly and polite demeanor, upgraded our room and surprised us with a chilled bottle of Prosecco, adding a sparkling touch to our celebration.|Each morning, we were greeted with an excellent breakfast that catered to every taste, providing the perfect start to our days. The hotel’s amazing terrace offered us a breathtaking lake view that became the backdrop to our tranquil moments. The serenity of the surroundings was exactly what we needed, and the calm atmosphere allowed us to unwind fully.|The convenience of on-site parking was the cherry on top, making our stay hassle-free. We appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of all amenities, such as bathrobes, beach towels, and water in our room, ensuring we had everything we needed and more.

Super spacious rooms and a really big complex! Big bonus was locked, secure parking on site. |Really reasonably priced considering the area and we found the room very comfortable with everything we needed. Lovely touches of complimentary Brut in the room. Perfect for a stopover on our trip!||One note is the walls are rather thin so you do hear neighbour’s conversations or people in the corridor!

Had a great 5 night stay at this hotel. All the staff were great and we enjoyed lunch at the pool bar everyday it was very reasonably priced and good portions. The pool is large with plenty of sun beds and a whirlpool section. We stayed B&B and the breakfast buffet choice was good and very well organized, all food was restocked when running low. We also enjoyed evening drinks on the terrace. The hotel is in an elevated position so great views especially from the lovely pool area. Short walk into the town itself. A little steep on the way back but not an issue for us. Rooms are a little dated but clean and functional. Parking was well organized and a pre arrival email notified us of the code. Would definitely stay at this hotel again, Limone was beautiful.

3.5 Stars||We stayed at Hotel Ilma for our wedding anniversary. When we checked in we were welcomed very warmly by the nice man at the check out desk and given the key to our room. We booked a double suite with lake view and ended up with 2 twin beds which was a shame. The beds were also very hard and not at all comfy and the room was basic but very clean. The TV has no English channels at all - not even BBC news which is usually always available everywhere in Europe, hahaha. We weren’t in the room much but it would have been nice to have at least one channel we could zone in on at night before bed. The view however was absolutely amazing - stunning in fact and we sat out on the balcony lots taking it all in (you don’t get much privacy mind you if your neighbours are out on theirs at the same time but that’s okay). We stayed on a B&B basis and the welcome to breakfast wasn’t as warm as what we received when we checked in. We went down 30-45 minutes before breakfast officially closed as we don’t eat much/take long and the staff were packing up around us and made us feel like we shouldn’t be there - they really need to work on this. The hotel at night was very quiet and very peaceful (I think we were the youngest guests staying there) and had lots of onsite parking if you hired a car/drove (we REALLY wished we had hired a car - I would say it’s a must really as the transfer costs alone are crazy prices)||Limone itself was really beautiful and the town centre was only a short walk away - but up and down lots of cobbled streets so not ideal if you have walking restrictions. The ferry system was fab and we explored so much, although they stopped fairly early (6:30pm) which was a shame (may be different during peak time though). We wanted to go to Riva one evening for the fireworks and got assured by the lady on reception we would be able to find a taxi home easily. This was not the case so beware. We went into a big hotel in Riva to ask for help as thought we would be walking the long dark walk back to the hotel and both the staff on reception couldn’t believe we had been told that a taxi would be easy to find. They were super helpful and rang around all the taxi numbers they could think of and eventually one man picked up and said he would come and collect us from a pick up point. Phew - it did take us nearly 2 hours from when we started looking and waiting for one though (hence why a car is a must).||We had dinner in the hotel one evening - all you can eat buffet and it was very nice although for the money we didn’t do this again and preferred walking down to a restaurant in the town - lots to choose from down there.||One thing that we found really bad is that we had a day to kill before we left for the airport at 4pm and the hotel tried to charge us €35 each to use the outdoor pool and facilities - such poor taste and greedy - we didn’t pay this. We also asked for help to find a taxi back to the airport and the girl on reception told us her uncle did it cheaper than any other taxi and he could take us (not sure if he was a licenced taxi driver or not but you would like to hope so if she was pushing for the business) and said he would charge €180 - we didn’t pay this much from the airport to the hotel so we told the girl this and she got really off with us and said you won’t find it any cheaper anywhere. Well we did in fact find it cheaper at €160 via a Google search - still crazy money and hence why it would have been cheaper to actually hire a car (you live and learn).||The hotel had a really beautiful location over looking the lake and the outdoor pool overlooked this as well which was gorgeous. It wasn’t warm enough for us to go in the pool sadly but we did sit on the loungers on our last day taking in the view. We went off peak so plenty of loungers were available. We didn’t go in the indoor pool but it looked nice and seemed popular with other guests.||Would we stay here again? I don’t think so as Limone was a little quiet and out the way for us but we had a lovely time using it as a base camp for our long anniversary weekend

Hotel is on a cliff, relatively far from the centre, specially when you need to get back to it, not great if you plan walking. Breakfast is average at best for this star level and not very diverse Coffee is terrible. If you plan enjoying the spa keep in mind it’s not thermal, it’s only around 28 degrees which will fill a bit cold. rooms are clean and ok, staff also friendly. Pets allowed but they will charge you 20€ more per night. I would suggest you pay a bit more and get something better maybe with a functional spa and not just for advertising purposes. Pool not ok for small kids bc of cold water. Also if you are a small women or kid, who cant swim, forget it because the pool is directly min 1,5-1,6m deep without any space in between.

A nice hotel which has the most stunning view of you choose a room with a lakeside view. Their service is also great. The breakfast is also very good. Can recommend this place 😀👍.

Worst experience with the receptionist. Me and my friend where coming alone with 3 sleeping kids (4,4,5 age). She yelled at me because i asked twice how to get to the room from the parking. She was sooo rude. Im almost in shock how she treated me.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms, fantastic lake view from the Panorama room`s balcony. Nice, organised outdoor spaces and little gardens. The design of the furniture is not the newest, however it is perfectly suitable for a lovely long weekend even with smaller children. The spa and the indoor pool is a nice extra to have after a day of visiting places around the lake in autumn time. The buffet breakfast and dinner offered a vide range of choices, food was not exceptional, but good quality and delicious. Both parents and kids enjoyed the stay, the hotel`s staff were kind. We would happily recommend this hotel!
