Can't-miss Places to Visit in Australia, According to Australians

"A UNESCO World Heritage–listed remnant of Gondwana rainforest near Yamba, Iluka Nature Reserve features a nearly two-mile walking track through strangler figs and vines that finishes at Bluff Lookout, where I’ve spotted sea eagles and migrating whales." - Justin Meneguzzi Justin Meneguzzi Justin Meneguzzi is an award-winning journalist and photographer based in Melbourne, Australia. Whether he’s tracking down polar bears in the Arctic or a good laneway latte in Toronto, he's always out exploring. Travel + Leisure Editorial Guidelines

Wonderful walk through the rainforest track. Very easy terrain and great wildlife. Saw noisy pittas, Australian whipbirds and blue-faced honey eaters! Best thing was the red kangaroos, who watched us I think...

Well maintained and easy walking track through coastal rainforest. You can start at the beach or long street in Inuka, just over 2,5 km ine way. We had a really nice walk: saw theee pretty big lizards, lots of yellow robin and other small birds. Don’t skip out on the bluff lookout from the beach parking area. The seabreeze (and view) was very nice, and saw a joey and his mum in the dunes. Well worth the stop (and there’s beach if you want to take a dip).
