We had such a wonderful stay at this great hotel. It deserves all of its 5* ratings. The location is in the lovely Palermo district which is full of restaurants, shops and bars. It’s easy to get around the city using Uber, which is so cheap here. The room was spacious, clean and overlooked the lovely pool. We were served delicious poolside caipirinhas by the attentive ladies in the restaurant. Breakfast was enjoyable. But what sets this hotel apart, is the warm, engaging and professional staff. Everyone we met went above and beyond to make our stay special and we would like to recognise and thank in particular, Analia and Martina on Reception, and the really helpful Milena, who very generously allowed us to return to the hotel a few days after leaving to store our luggage when our flight plans changed. It was a lifesaver. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending you stay at this great hotel!

We stayed at Ilum after a trip to Antarctica. Great choice. We wanted to stay in the Palermo Hollywood/Soho area of BA and this hotel is perfectly located to experience all that there is in this very cool city. Ilum is a modern build in a traditional neighborhood. The common areas are lovely and the rooms are large and well appointed. The beds were superb and the daily breakfast was varied and delicious. Finally, the staff could not have been more helpful and kind. Reservations at wonderful restaurants were handled by the front desk and our transportation to the main airport was taken care of on our behalf. Either direction out the front door takes you to cool galleries, shops and local folks gathering at empenada places and watering holes. Buenos Aires has the best parks anywhere and we enjoyed many of them which were very close. You will love Ilum and the nice people that work there.

Really enjoyed our stay at Ilum. Good location in Palermo near plenty of bars and restaurants. The room, including the bathroom, was quite large and although not “fancy” had everything we needed. The shower was great; lots of hot water. The breakfast was also excellent with a large selection of eggs and pastries and meats and cheeses and fruit. But by far the best part is the friendliness of the staff - everyone we encountered was extremely pleasant and very helpful.

Excellent option in the Palermo Hollywood area. Our room was well-appointed and spacious, and came with a small kitchenette. Nice and quiet lobby and reception area with a zen-like vibe. Bright and airy restaurant with a high-quality (although not extensive) selection of items for breakfast. ||Most of all, great staff and service. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Buenos Aires.

Staff were entirely warm, welcoming, and helpful. If the tidy-needed sign was on the door, guarantee the room would have been serviced (fresh towels, bed made, some vague tidying up) by the time we got back. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic and nice that they keep it till 11. For me, a 5 star would require: better shower/bath products and refills of them when they were used up. The tiny sample body lotion may have actually dried out my skin more than it hydrated. The shower (although tub + glass door) would constantly leak water out onto the floor through the seams of the glass. The shower (and sink!) also won’t drain until you’re long out of it, so you’re showering in used water pooling at your ankles or more. There was also construction (?) nearby, causing loud noises heard during mid morning on several days, interrupting sleep. At some point during our stay, very loud people (a group of young men, I’d assume) checked into a room across from ours, and their voices in their room and conversations in the hall made me hyper aware of how thin the doors are. Despite all this, the location was top tier, and I would stay here again, just not relying on any of the travel products, and being aware of loud neighbours & street.

We had a great time at Ilum Experience! The deluxe suite with hot tub was more spacious than expected and the room was very nicely equipped. We had requested extra beds for our kids and everything was set up perfectly for us upon arrival. We enjoyed the large private balcony and hot tub in the evenings and the outdoor pool was great for midday relaxing. |Service was excellent all around (although drinks do take a bit of time from the small bar) and the front desk staff were very helpful with local suggestions. I thought the breakfast was just ok and wish specialty coffee drinks were not an extra charge. ||The location was great and very convenient to many shops and restaurants. We would happily return!

This is a very clean nice hotel in Polermo. Reception provided a lot of information prior to our arrival and where very happy to help. ||The balcony rooms are at the front of the hotel overlooking the road. Although shielded they don’t offer much to the experience. ||There is a small swimming pool at the back of the hotel with lounges. ||The breakfast is very good and runs from 7 to 11 ||Very close to local buses but it’s a good 45 mins to central Buenos Aries. ||Clean and comfortable. Very good for a short stay
