Friendly, helpful staff throughout hotel. Intimate, peaceful, tasteful decor, clean, simply furnished room, super large bathtub, effective, quiet heating system. Staff immediately responsive to needing beds separated. Restaurant light-filled, wait staff ready to accommodate needs. Breakfast generous and well curated with wide selection of food. Good location because quiet street but close to many restaurants and historic sights. We stayed one night before going to El Calafate then returned for an additional night before departing Argentina. In our room was a tray of sweets, a bottle of juice and a handwritten note welcoming us back.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. We stayed in 2 different rooms, both were spacious. The furniture is a little basic but very comfortable and very clean. Would be great if they provided dressing gowns and slippers. |The breakfast was good. They charge extra for specially made coffee but it’s not expensive. |Would like to single out Gonzalo, Victor, Denise, Melanie, Melody and Abril for wonderful customer service. |Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable beds, and everything in the room beautiful and white and clean. Deep, large bathtub with fabulous water pressure for the waterfall shower. Chocolates and mineral water given every day. A nice gym and good breakfast service. Especially the fresh fruit juices. Very helpful, kind, attentive staff. They booked a parilla restaurant for us, and our airport taxi. They also gave punctual wake up calls.

This hotel was great. It had all that we wanted: great breakfast, great rooms, great neighborhood, gym, 15 minutes to the metro. We could not check the pool because we were too busy exploring the town;) |But the best feature of this hotel was the staff (Denise, Gonzalo and Matias from the front desk and Melani and Melody from the breakfast team). All of them went the extra mile to serve us in the best way possible. |We could not be any happier and will stay with this hotel once we come back to Buenos Aires.

Solid choice. Friendly and helpful concierge. Good breakfast. Large comfy rooms. The pool is on the first floor and doesn’t get evening sun, and the gym is a joke, but so are most hotel gyms. Don’t bother with the rooms that have a “kitchen”. Yes it technically has one, but there’s not even salt available and the fridge is super loud, making sleep tough. Staff is very friendly and helpful, so despite my critique, 5 stars.

Amazing location on a quiet street in Palermo.||I stayed one night in the Delixe Suite. It was spacious, cleqn and nicely decorated. Unfortunately it was raining so I wan't able to fully utilize the terrace and jacuzzi. However the area looked nice and private (it overlooks the street but there are big trees right outside) and with good seating arrangements.||The staff was super helpful and friendly and were very patient with me trying my best to speak Soanish. Although they were perfectly fluent in English as well.||The breakfast area, as well as the hotel i n general, was cleanly decorated in bright colours. It felt very contemporary.||The breakfast itself was on the smaller side, but there were still enough options for me and it was all delicious.||Two comments about the room which would have made it a six star review:|- I would have liked there to be a hand held shower head as well in addition to the rain shower|- Would have been nice with some basic cutlery, such as a knife and some plates/bowls for those of us who likes to bring something from the outside to snack on||Other than that, I'm positively delighted and would definitely return again.

We stayed for a week at Ilum, and it was wonderful. The staff was incredible, both for their work at the hotel and their help with arranging transport, giving recommendations, and so on. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and we had no trouble sleeping well. I do recommend a noise machine (or using your phone as one), as BA is a noisy city.

In the heart of Palermo Hollywood, Ilum is a great choice for a hotel. We stayed there a week and it was a great base for exploring the city. The staff were knowledgeable and always helpful, the restaurant had great food and drinks, and it’s within an easy walk from many shops and restaurants. Only downside is traffic noise, but it’s Buenos Aires- it’s all noisy! 10/10 experience here!
