We booked this five-star hotel the day before our flight, expecting a smooth and luxurious experience – but unfortunately, the small details added up to a disappointing stay. First, when we called to request an airport pickup, we were told that the hotel requires bookings at least two days in advance, and there were no vehicles available. Fair enough – but this policy wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the website. When we arrived, no one helped us with our luggage from the taxi, which is surprising for a hotel of this standard. Later, when we asked to send our bags up to the room while we went to eat, they insisted that one of us accompany the staff to the room again, not the level of service we expected. We also asked for a recommendation for a good Italian restaurant, and were directed to the hotel’s own restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was extremely underwhelming it honestly tasted like instant spaghetti you’d buy at 7/11. Definitely not the dining experience we were hoping for. On top of that, we were shocked to discover that in order to use the spa facilities including the jacuzzi and heated pool guests are required to enter completely naked. It doesn’t matter that the areas are separated by gender; this policy feels outdated and very uncomfortable for many modern travelers. We believe guests should be informed of such policies in advance especially when they contradict common expectations for international five star hotels. While the facilities may look good on paper, the overall experience, service, and attention to guest comfort left much to be desired.

Visiting I'M Hotel was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel valued throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with stunning city views. We especially loved the iconic acrylic-bottomed infinity pool and the luxurious spa. Dining at their rooftop bar was a highlight—delicious food paired with a beautiful skyline view. A truly memorable 5-star experience in the heart of Makati!

My wife booked the room for a quick weekend r&r. Helpful front desk. Spacious rooms. Good buffet. Most staff have service-with-a-smile approach. Suggested improvements: add shower cap, more cotton buds and nail file to toiletries. Very Satisfied overall.

Loved my stay at I’M Hotel! The room was spotless and comfy, the infinity pool and Onsen Spa were amazing, and the rooftop jellyfish bar was a unique highlight. Staff were warm and attentive, and the location was perfect for exploring Makati. Highly recommended!

We’re currently staying here, and so far, it has been a great experience. The room is clean, spacious, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location is very convenient and close to everything we need, from restaurants to shops and key attractions. The staff have been helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything we need. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm and welcoming, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Looking forward to the rest of our time here!

WORST SERVICE I'VE EXPERIENCE My recent stay at this "5-star" hotel had very bad front desk service. Here's what happened: ~2:00 PM: Went to room, key card didn't work. (yes, normal for this to happen) 2:05 PM: Went to lobby, new key was processed 2:13 PM: Back at room, key still didn't work. 2:15 PM: Called front desk from outside the room, explained we had a 2:30 PM meeting and asked for them to come up so that the issue could be fixed quicker. 2:22 PM: No one came. Called again, and they had the audacity to ask for us to give them our patience. 2:30 PM: Still no one came. We had to go down to the lobby, missing our meeting start time. 2:40 PM: Finally got into our room, very late for our meeting. Even after all this, one of the "new" keys still didn't work. Not one check up or method to check if we were doing okay or if there was anything to make up for the incident. When we checked out, the same staff even avoided looking at us. I've stayed at many hotels, even cheaper ones, and had much better service. Heck even condos have better service than this. No way this place is a 5-star hotel based on our experience

Google
Highly recommended! The location is very convenient — right in the heart of Makati, close to shops, restaurants, and family-friendly attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, and modern. We had a great view of the city and enjoyed the comfortable beds and smart TV. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. We had a relaxing time at the onsen and spa, while my brother and niece enjoyed the swimming pool. We will definitely return!

I can’t remember how many times we stayed here in I’M Hotel. We love it here, it’s luxurious. This trip we received a complimentary Onsen Spa experience, that we absolutely loved. We have a baby sitter for our kids, and this stay gave my husband and I the break we truly needed!

Yelp
The front desk and lobby bell boys are wonderful, the room sized are big anhave a five star hotel layout, but the reason I will only give them 3 Yelp stars is; No in room dining menu available. No idea what hours are the restaurant open and what they serve. No TV channel listing, Rooms and bathrooms are too dark. You need to call ahead to make an appointment to use Spa, Pool, or Gym

Yelp
So far, my experience has been positive, from when we came into the hotel, to getting checked into our room and going to grab dinner. We decided to stay inside the hotel for the convenience. The employees were quick to greet us when we got to the 4th floor to go to the dinner buffet. *updating my review, since I've gone back home and left the hotel* Now that I'm back home in California, I will say that my experience at I'M Hotel was superb. I loved how extremely friendly and helpful ALL the hotel staff were and how beautiful the hotel is. It's also very quiet inside the hotel. I didn't hear anyone else when I was in my hotel room and even walking around the hotel and back to the room. The room was nice and spacious and also extremely affordable at under $100 for a night. I ended up getting a massage while I was there and that was the best massage I'd ever received (I got 4 at different places while on vacation in the Philippines this trip, lol). The lady was really going at my back, which was certainly tight and had knots from surfing the couple days prior. 10/10 massage. Service, excellent. Atmosphere, peaceful and quiet. Great was to end a 2 week trip to the Philippines. I miss it so much and would definitely come back to I'M hotel!

Yelp
I stayed here for one night only but I was impressed. Check in was easy and fast. I had a prestige executive king room, which was large and had a nice bathroom. There was included juice and water in the room, and bath amenities. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, great for a good night sleep. I made use of the included spa access, and spent time in the sauna, onsen, and steam room. The facilities were nice and clean. In the morning I had breakfast at their in-house restaurant, and enjoyed the selection at the buffet. My only regret is I didn't have time to check out the bar or the pool, but I was impressed with what I did see and who I interacted with. I would definitely return, hopefully for a longer stay next time.

Yelp
The service of this hotel is HORRIBLE! CHECK-IN WAS SLOW - We checked-in at 1:30 finished our check-in at 2 PM. We said we'll get the key card later since we're going out for lunch. When we came back at 3 PM, they could not provide our key card as our room was not yet ready. We were able to enter our room at 4 PM! ROOM WAS DISAPPOINTING - We booked a 2-bedroom executive suite. Our key card was NOT WORKING for the entire day! We had to go down to the lobby every time we left the room and ask someone to open our room at the 32nd floor. Aircon was not functioning on one of the rooms. Curtains had stains and cigarette burns. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS - The staff kept apologizing but were not compromising with our request. They could not provide any compensation for the hassle we have experienced. The could not even provide free breakfast in exchange of all our ruined plans because of their incompetence. IF I COULD PROVIDE ZERO-STAR RATING FOR THIS HOTEL, I WOULD.

Yelp
To be fair, the hotel deserves credit for its amenities, particularly the Onsen area, and the Swimming pool area, but other than that, the entire experience was frustrating. Our stay at the I'm Hotel was nothing but disappointing. My family is grieving over the recent loss of our mother, and I am a Filipino who has been abroad for more than ten years. My sisters and I try our best to keep our father amused, and as an OFW, I make the most of long weekends by returning to Manila and taking several staycations in Manila, Tagaytay, and Clark, Batangas. This time, we planned a "Spa-cation" and a restful stay at a charming yet lively hotel (expectedly). I considered all the finest hotels, including Peninsula, Sofitel, Conrad, etc., and I decided I'm hotel would be the ideal spot to stay. However, I have a special connection to this hotel because I brought my parents here in 2018. Hence, I considered returning here. Ok here goes the complains: They were not at all friendly and had a terrible attitude when they welcomed us at the front desk area. The lady who appeared to be the supervisor avoided making eye contact with me completely. Whole.telling their associates of what they need to do on a certain deadline while dealing with me. WHAT's up with that? We chose to stay in a Twin Executive Suite room, which can accommodate up to 4 people. We had to pay an additional 4,000 PHP for the two extra people. That's completely OK. 1 Given that there are 6 of us, it took us two hours to get an extra bed, and we had to remind them to bring towels, toiletries, and other extras. If you work in the hotel and service sector, it should come automaimtically. 2 Some of our belongings became wet because the room leaked. The worst was that management did not automatically transfer us to a new room as a gesture of courtesy. While we were in the room (we waited for 1.5 hours), they attempted to solve the AC's issue, but the leakage worsened. Terrible stay. Unexpected things are understandable but the attitude and attention to details of the management are things that can be improved on.

Yelp
Our stay was a disaster starting from check in. My wife booked a 2-Bedroom Executive Suite (their highest-tiered room) for a surprise bridal shower for our friend. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm and checked in was supposed to be easy. They got our docs and processed it. We were so hungry that time so we decided to have lunch first and just go back to get the keycards since we're already checked in. We came back around 3pm and to our surprise, we still don't have a room. The suprise party is supposed to start at 4pm and we needed to set our decors but lo and behold, their executive suite is not ready. They said the lights were busted, tv was not working. We insisted on getting to the room to set up so they finally allowed us to go up at 4pm, an hour after we got back from lunch. When we got to the room, it was already open. Not only they were still fixing, they were also still cleaning the room. So we started prepping up and trying to get things back to schedule when we realized, the Keycards are NOT working! So I had to go down again, had the keycards replaced, but still not working. I went back again to the front desk, asked someone to accompany me so they can see what I was saying. And agaon, the freah keycards were not working. It was time to get the soon-to-be-bride but sincr the keycards are not working, we had to meet her in person at the lobby, wait for the front desk person to badge us in to the elevator so we can get to the floor. The surpise all went to waste. All those months of planning. We tried to ignore this and tried to get as much fun as we could, but we still didn't have the keycard. We went to do the spa treatment and had dinner. Then we still had to ask front desk to badge us up to thr floor and open our room door for us. It was already 9pm and that's still the issue. We're supposed to go to the roof deck bar to drink after dinner but since we don't have keycards, it's so hassel to go back to the lobby and ask someone to get us to our room again. Another plan ruimed. So they sent some engineers and they replaced the whole door lock mechanism and finally got the keycards working at 12 midnight. Yay! Time to rest up, then we discovered that one of the rooms' airconditioning is not working. So we had to call front desk again to get it fixed in the middle of the night. Dinner and breakfast were very underwhelming, not suited for a 5-Star Hotel like they claim to be. There's no duty manager to talk to, the front desk people just kept on saying sorry yet they seem to act without urgency. We were really disappointed with our stay. It was the worst 5-star hotel stay experience so far. We lodged a complaint and they just offered us a late check out at 2pm. No thanks. We checked out at 11am. The expectations and excitement to stay in this hotel was really dampened by that experience and made me decide not to come back. It's not worth it. They need to up their customer service, stop being rude and defensive, maintain their facilities well, and live up to the expectations of a 5-star hotel. Not a good experience, not coming back.

Yelp
I booked a room at I'M Hotel with credit card points for a 16 hour layover in Manila. Little did most of us know, the Philippine government has an inhumane policy of not letting travelers out of the terminal regardless of layover duration, citing COVID, regardless of vaccination status/ability to meet customs requirements otherwise. This makes no sense and is NOT okay. Both I and my CC company respectfully requested a refund of my points purchase made the day prior, as I was effectively physically detained in the airport due to the misguided policy above and unable to go to the hotel. I'M Hotel refused the refund. Worst layover of my life and poor customer service by this hotel. Be forewarned.

Yelp
I didn't want to leave this hotel. Everything about it was amazing!!!! All of the employees were exceptional from the moment I walked in till I checked out. I got tattoos and came back all bandaged up; the bell hops were worried about me and even asked me if I needed assistance with my injury lol. The rooms are really nice and I loved the layout. Luckily, I got a really high floor and the view on the balcony was gorgeous. The restaurant, spa, bar, and pool just added to how great the hotel is. The bird cage seating at the pool!!! So relaxing. I don't have anything bad to say about the hotel. One concern is that the shower is hard to get into because the bathtub is so high.

Yelp
Stayed here two weeks for business. Good: attached spa, rooms are wonderful, housekeeping staff are amazing, everyone is friendly. Not so good: location is hectic and the front desk staff will tell you it's not safe to walk around and to only take taxi. Defeats the purpose of staying central. There is one mall across the street that is "safe-ish" they say to walk to and you'll end up there every day for meals and just to have an outing. Otherwise be prepared to taxi. Fortunately east to get a taxi from there via Grab. They have a shuttle system to other malls but you have to prebook in advance undisclosed length of lead time. Every time I tried it was full. They do not have typical concierge service experience at the front desk. The eager but inexperienced? Staff don't have answers to most questions (where to eat, what to do, what time the hotel restaurant is open etc). You'll have to ask around to get the right answer. They rejected a business package I had delivered to the hotel after telling me they would accept it. Idk what happened. Overall pricey for manila, if you're not going to use the spa as a business traveler you can prob find somewhere else less expensive and more tlc.

Yelp
Great view of the city on top of I'm Hotel. One of Most unique venue I've been to in Manila. Great posh place to hang out and meet other well dressed people. Always great music and ambiance, the view itself cannot be compared. Highly recommend if want to check out a unique view and experience. The hotel and the spa is really good as well.

Yelp
After planning my dream dive trip for almost a year, I was finally ready to board my flight to the Philippines (out of San Francisco, CA, USA). On November 11th, on my way to the airport, I was robbed. Everything was taken from me, including my passport, which, of course, made it unable to board an international flight. Not only that, but the robbers smashed my car windows, took all of my clothes, all of my belongings... everything I had on me was gone. I was scared to death. Hysterically crying, trying to make out the numbers on my phone to dial 911. The police showed up and as we started to make the report, it slowly sunk in that I wouldn't be able to make my trip. There were just too many logistics to work out. Despite the shock and horror I was facing, I had to make make a list of people to call and prioritize what was most important. I had spent so long booking this trip and nailing down every single logistical component of it, but now I was having to go backwards and work on getting a refund. Although this tragic incidence was completely out of my control, this hotel has decided they are not going to offer any type of refund. They, instead, shared their cancelation policy with me and apologized for the "inconvenience". This is a trip I had been saving for. A trip I booked after the divorce from hell was over. The pain of missing out on this trip has been hard enough, but now knowing they will not offer me a refund of the money I paid is devastating in more ways than one. As I sit here crying, trying to work with the police, repair my car, file a homeowner's insurance claim (that won't cover this), replace all my clothes, replace my computer, replace my passport and so, so much more, I am now stressed about the money I have lost by this event. DO NOT book with these people. They are insensitive and have not offered any compassion to my personal experience. I have a full police report available to show proof of robbery and the inability to board my flight. DO NOT BOOK. You do not want to be supporting business done in this way.

Yelp
This hotel is new. The customer service is excellent. From security, bell and server was top notch. Only thing I was disappointed was that the buffet had the same menu every day.It wasn't there fault, I was used to different menu where I live. Las Vegas. Walls are thin so by 3:00am we were listening to live porn next door. Vet a server at the buffet took care of us, I was impressed. House keeping did a great job in cleaning. No bugs in this hotel. So hotels I've stayed in has small bugs or flies. Workout area is workable, I wanted to try the spa but to many people. The area is safe to walk and get a snack, even at 4:00 am from jet lag. There are police officers present near by.

Yelp
The best new hotel in Makati! You'll forget youre in Manila once you step inside their lobby with a high ceiling and modern finish. Rooftop bar "Antidote" is the bomb! They have the best view in Makati, and P.S. check out the toilet on the 2nd floor of the bar. Their mermaid pool bar has an acrylic bottom infinity pool in which you'll be able to see people from below (lobby), another attraction and good place to chill is their colorful bird cages. They also have the biggest spa in Manila (Onsen Spa).
