Imagine Villa Hotel

After 3 nights at Imagine, we can say we are more than happy. Since we are almost at the end of the season, the hotel was not full at all, and we had a completely quiet place. The hotel is on the sea shore with direct access to the beach. Turtles can be seen breathing in the afternoon. For a safe swim, the beach on the right is quieter with fewer stones. The rooms are perfectly arranged, quiet and surely big enough. The staff is smiling and heedful. The breakfast is perfect but too much for us 🙃 We have been dining one evening and the food was perfect also. In order to move from hotel to locations, we had contact with one tuktuk driver and called him each time. Easier. About 250lkr per km. Thanks a lot to Marnix for the talks we had and explanations about the place. Also many thanks for birthday flower cake and wine 🤩 Perfect stay.

Small boutique hotel with spacious rooms right by the sea. Beautiful pool and well kept garden with direct access to the beach where you can see turtles in the afternoon. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious Breakfast and nicely prepared dinners. Highly recommend the Imagine Cocktail ;-)... Our kids loved the pool, collecting shells at the beach and the friendly employees.

My husband and I wanted a few days of complete rest and relaxation. We have been to Imagine Villa Hotel before so knew it was a beautiful place to stay and this time it really lived up to our expectations. It is like home from home, so stylish and well thought out. The management really know how to run a hotel. The staff are all exceptional in their care of guests and attention to every detail. They always have smiles on their faces and nothing is ever too much trouble. The room was perfect with a sea view. Breakfast was spot on, both Sri Lankan and continental. Evening meals delicious and the setting perfect. We had two massages each during our stay. Ravi, the masseur, certainly deserves a mention as he does a really excellent job and made us both feel even more relaxed, if that was possible. Thank you all so much. We will certainly be back. Imagine a hotel where the rooms are spacious and well appointed; the pool is large and warm; the sound of ocean waves lull you to sleep. Imagine going through the garden gate and going for a stroll on the beach and a calm little bay where you can immerse yourself in the warm ocean water....Imagine a genial host who is on site and ensures your comfort; attentive staff and delicious meals served overlooking the ocean. Imagine feeling cocooned from the world and all it's cares. Imagine a hotel that is clean, comfortable and far enough from the noise of a busy beach community but close enough with a short tuk tuk ride to explore other restsurants, cafes and beaches. You don't need to imagine these things at Imagine Villa because you experience them. We did not want to leave and kept extending our stay.

This luxurious hotel, nestled just 4 kilometers from the pristine Mirissa Beach, offers a serene escape. The spacious ground-floor rooms are well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The highlight of the hotel, however, is the stunning infinity pool overlooking the ocean. It's the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the breathtaking views. While the breakfast spread is quite enjoyable, the service can be somewhat slow, particularly when dining outdoors. The hotel's unique arrangement of serving breakfast on the lawn, with the waves gently lapping at the shore, creates a magical ambiance but can also contribute to slower service as staff members have to constantly move between the kitchen and the dining area. The hotel's detailed rule book, provided in each room, offers valuable insights into ensuring a comfortable stay. The owner, Marnix, a European gentleman, extends a warm welcome but appears somewhat burdened with managerial responsibilities. The local staff, on the other hand, are incredibly courteous and always eager to assist with a smile.

Thanks to the wonderful Team at Imagine Villa. Simply perfect to spend relaxing days at Sri Lankas southern coast. Nice rooms and a wonderful garden with pool. Excellent breakfast and food. Quiet and directly at the Kamburugamuwa beach. We come again.

I highly recommend this hotel! Very, very friendly staff and owners. No wish stays unfulfilled and everyone is very accommodating. The location is super great - right by the sea. Everything is clean and modern. Breakfast is served with a fruit plate and you can choose from a variety of eggs, juices, coffee, tea, bread and toppings. European prices are to be expected, so it is more expensive than other hotels.

I spent my first 6 days here in Sri Lanka, and this lovely little hotel exceeded all my expectations. There was a driver to meet me at the airport, and a warm welcome on arrival from Marnix, the owner. Both food and service were excellent, and the bedroom - room number 9 - quiet, comfortable and spacious. Nothing was too much trouble, and local trips and experiences, such as a truly luxurious massage, can all be arranged on request. It was a relief to return to this little oasis of tranquillity, after busy days of exploring, and I was pleased to be away - albeit only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride - from the busy beach bars of Mirissa. An absolute gem of a place, to be highly recommended, and to which I hope one day to return. Thanks to all of you.
