It's a 10/10 for me. Worth the hype. The Kebabs were Juicy and tender. Everything that we ordered were delicious. This place is super crowded. A must have when you are ar Gaziantep. Better take a taxi rather driving your own car as finding a parking will be difficult. They also serve best baklava in town. We bought baklava for our whole family. Staff are really good. Great service. Huge space too. Totally recommend.

Super efficient and friendly staff, very professional and helpful. The food was divine, especially the Ali Nazik Kebab, which is a chargrilled eggplants pureed with yoghurt and garlic to make a smoky-creamy-garlicky souce for the kebabs. Their baklava was so good, not too sweet. Price was reasonable given the quality. Would highly recommend.

A well-known restaurant that I decided to try.
I have to highlight the friendliness and hospitality of the staff, from the moment we arrived until the end of the service; they were impeccable.
The food was good and tasty, and the baklava here is delicious and a must-try at the end of the meal.
It was a little pricey though.

Expect short waiting to be seated on the weekends.
Great ambiance, fast service, friendly personnel. Prices are reasonable for quality food.
We liked the Alinazik very much and the Simit Kebap. Lahmacun was worth trying but not the best in town.
Overall score 4.2/5 for a Kebab Restaurant

This place was excellent! We had the lahmacun, yoğurtlu kebap, and adana — everything was absolutely delicious and finger-licking good. Highly recommend it! Surprised the overall rating is only 3.9, because it definitely deserves a full 5 stars.
I wish a took more photos.

We were concerned due to some recent reviews but we did not encounter any such thing.
Though we don't know turkish, we had nonproblem ordering, we were seated immediately, staff helped us and recommended excellent kebabs for us, the food lived up to its reputation, salad was amazing with pomegranate dressing, bread was fresh from the oven and the kebabs!!! I cant even begin to describe the taste. Pictures don't do justice as we were too keen to eat and didn't want to wate time taking pics:)
Staff was very kind. Thank you and hope to come to gaziantep again to eat here.
By the way they do help you park outside the restaurant. Just ask them at the door.

I had heard about İmam Çağdaş for years and always wanted to go. It turned out to be a great experience for me. Some locals told me it’s too expensive and didn’t recommend it, but I’m glad I went anyway. In general, places that are harder for locals to afford can offer a nice tasting experience because they focus more on visitors. This was the cleanest and most attentive restaurant I tried in Antep, which isn’t easy to find. Thanks to our server, Mr. Eyüp,he was very attentive. The Ali Nazik kebab made with grilled meat was delicious. The salad and the ezme were also very good. I love lahmacun, and this was the best I’ve had so far. The desserts were good, but there are a few spots in Antep that do them even better, so I wouldn’t especially recommend having dessert here.

As usual in Gaziantep, the food was very good and one dish in specific was extremely tasty with new taste signature, think they called it Ali Nazek Kebab. The freshly baked local bread was delicious. The service was excellent with English speaking staff. The price is high but you are going to pay for the experience and the quality of food and for the name since it is one of the most well known places in all of Gaziantep. One point is that if you are like me a big dude the portions are small.

Yelp
This place has amazing food and the best baklava ever! The staff is nice but it's hard to get hold of them since the place is mostly packed to the brim. Try not to go there during lunch or dinner hours. Nice vibes overall.

Yelp
We stopped by late on a Thursday night and were seated immediately. We ordered the sogan kebabi to share and it was more than enough food for the three of us. We finished with their baklava and it was delightful.
The inside is enormous and classy. It has a large downstairs and an upstairs as well so it's good for groups.

Yelp
This restaurant is one of the most crowded restaurants, especially on weekends. The dish I go back for each time is the Ali Nazik, which is made up of several layers of outstanding tastiness. Yum. The first layer is cooked eggplant with garlic, yogurt with a mild olive oil and some mouth watering kebab. Eat it with a little bread and be amazed.
You have to try the baklava. It is made with a recipe that is recognized internationally. Gaziantep is well known in Turkey for its baklava. I always see Turks bringing baklava with them on the airplane from Gaziantep to Istanbul.
Lastly, this restaurant is in a great location to visit the castle and and see a touristy part of the old city.

Yelp
The food wasn't that great, but the baklava is to die for.
Great, quick service and very affordable prices.

Yelp
This restaurant deserves all compliments that they have earned over the years.
Location and the atmosphere is really great. Conveniently located in the heart of the "Old Town" and decoration has City of Antep influence.
And the food; Antep has very rich cuisine and a great meat selection mixed w vegetables. "Imam Cagdas" represents them very well. My favorite was "Ali Nazik" which is purée eggplant w yogurt topped w meat and ground beef. Perfect
And their speciality is; BAKLAVA best in town. Deserves highest rank in my opinion. (I tried couple different ones in town to compare )
The only reason I gave 4 star because I expect higher service quality for a such a good reputable place.

Yelp
It is a very well known restaurant yet the taste (Adana & Lahmacun) was very regular. The brand is much bigger than portions and the service is disorganised. Still, the place is very authentic and it is one key stop of Antep bucket list.

Yelp
Ambiyans derler ya, mekanın atmosferi falan.. Bildigin 7. sınıf yemekhane ayarı bir yer; verzalit masalar, soğuk bi mekan, depo hemen yanıbaşınızda..
Lezzet sıfır! Karışık kebap, lahmacun, ezme salata, o çok övülen ayran falan.. Trişka resmen, ne tadı var ne tuzu!
Hizmet zaten bitmiş. Garsonlar "bitse de gitsek" mood'unda..
Ulaşımı zor, fiyatları kazık!
Tek yıldız da.. zaruretten yanı, aplikasyonu dua etsinler:)

Yelp
Best lahmacun and best Ali Nazik you can eat, period. It does not get better than this.
Kocak Baklava has better baklava though.
Good, cozy atmosphere.

Yelp
A must visit during kebap pilgrimage to Gaziantep. Don't forget to order "Açık Şöbiyet" at the end as a dessert.

Yelp
Because of its reputation, the restaurant is so crowded and loud. However, the taste of the food you eat there is incredible. I can honestly say that it is the best steakhouse in the city. Besides meat, you can also taste baklava.

Yelp
best Ali Nazik, yes! but we have had much better Lahmacun somewherelse in Gaziantep. Overall, not as much as extragerated compare to other local restaurants.

Yelp
Granted the Lamucan was pretty good, but this place certainly didn't live up to the hype. Our salad came super late, like we had to ask for it after our kebab had come. Kebobs were ok, nothing special, very few side dishes, and way too expensive for what we got. Combine that with a mediocre atmosphere and I'd give this place a miss.
