A cute Japanese sandwich shop in the middle of a park. I can see this being popular during the warmer months. I came in the middle of winter, and the park entrance was not maintained, so there was a massive ice sheet to the sandwich shop, but hey, it made the journey that much more fun. The sandwiches were delicious and reminded me of the sandos you get in kombinis. It's a chill spot to enjoy a snack and beer. I would definitely come back if I were in the area.

Cute sando bar/snack shack in the park. The sandwiches are a little expensive but I do believe they're worth the price - soft fresh bread (no crust!) and perfectly cooked meat with tasty sauces. Between the chicken and pork, I ended up preferring the pork. Lots of snacks, popsicles and cold or hot drinks for cheap otherwise! A great establishment that really makes being outside at the park with your family a better experience!

Very yummy small sandwiches from a delightful little spot with interesting options (will try the mackerel sando next time), and nice drinks and sides. It’s in a park so there’s lots of seating around. And it was very quick despite there being quite a few people about. As people have mentioned the sandwiches aren’t massive but I found it was great for lunch

I've been to Imanishi Sando bar a long time ago. 2019 or 2020? I got the hype, and I'm happy it’s doing so well in the city now. The tonkatsu is thick and well-fried, with really tasty coleslaw, tangy katsu sauce, mustard pickle relish, and soft toast buns. That said, the price-to-value ratio is just a huge letdown to me. The sando was really small (snack-bite size), and it was almost 15 dollars. To add an order of fries, it will cost 25 dollars (adding a drink—35 dollars). I always like and appreciate Imanishi Sando Bar; I just hope that the price could be more reasonable for average folks.

Cozy location tucked into a park. Cool atmosphere. Great food! Portions are great for snacking or trying a couple of different sandwiches

Just the nicest day out is waiting for you whenever you're here to grab food. The food, the service, the atmosphere are all excellent. Wanted to try everything but went with their Ebi (prawn) Sando, very light and flavorful. The Ebi was fried to perfection, and the light sauce glaze with the slaw was just right. And it can't with small pickles too. Definitely want to try their fried chicken Sando and karaage next time. It was a perfect summer day, great weather, people playing with their kids and their dogs which added to the experience. Highly recommend.

I happened upon this sando shop when I was visiting the park. They operate out of an upcycled shipping crate. I had the most delicious spicy chicken sando. The chicken was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside—and was very flavourful. I will be back to try the other sandos!

This is such a cute hidden gem in Toronto, and visiting this sandwich shop was a very nice and quaint experience, the park just gives us such a nice vibe. The place is self is very small with the very minimal seating so just be aware, and the one thing that threw me off mostly about this place was the pricing. It is really outrageous for the small portion sizes you are getting. Like I can understand that the ingredients being used are high-quality but you are not running a full huge restaurant. There can be an argument made to say that oh we are giving you such a good quality sandwich but for that $13 price point, not including any drinks, or anything on the side just a sandwich with a few pieces of meat and the pickle is kind of crazy to me. The service overall was quick and accommodating and I do give kudos to anybody who has an idea to make a sandwich shop like that at a park. I will say the overall experience of just sitting down in the park on a hot sunny day and eating that nice great tasting sandwich is nice but again overall it’s just too expensive.
