This place is part hostel part burger Cafe. As of the time of writing this, I’ve just ordered a burger so I cannot rate my experience. The atmosphere of this place on the other hand is spectacular. It has a very chill morning vibe, and played a lot of hip hop/reggae as the day went on. Working staff was very nice, attentive, and open to assisting whenever possible. I would recommend booking this place for a solid location and experience. Rooms were clean and secluded for minimum light exposure.

Private room was perfect! Excellent location, nice staff, very cheap washing machines and lovely atmosphere. Very modern and great value considering its location. The mattress was firm but for a couple of nights absolutely grand. If you’re active enough in Japan, trust me, you should be able to sleep on a floor!! Highly recommended

They charge ¥200 for a fresh towel. I had my shower and saw a sign in the bathroom saying to put your used towel in the basket. I assume that we get fresh towel everyday and will only get charge if we ask for more on the same day. I put my towel in the basket after shower just as the sign say and ask for a fresh one the morning after. They told me that I have to pay ¥200, so I told them about the sign and all they said was, “Oh well..”

I am writing this review, because I dislike heavily their business practise. Hostels originated in germany in 1909. The concept was simple, save space and provide cheap flexible options for people who didn't have very much money. Poor students around the world just trying to save money and make their money go as far as possible to see as much as possible is what has popularised hostels. This hostel reaps the benefit of thousands of hostels worldwide providing a nice space for cheap for people to adventure. Yet they try and punish those same people. I made a reservation at 11am, to stay in the same evening, but it turns out when I tried to check in, that I had made the reservation for the next day. It shouldn't be a problem, instead they tried to get me to pay for a full night, for "lost revenue", for a bed they wouldn't have sold because I didn't cancel it "3 days in advance". Frankly it's a disgusting business practice. Then when I pointed out that I could just cancel the reservation online, and not pay, she started complaining that "all the other booking platforms would force me to pay, only hostel world doesn't". This place has hostel in the name, yet doesn't want to respect what a hostel is, then basically told me they would let me not pay the fee because I understood how hostel world works. That's basically taking advantage of other people who don't know how it works. They profit from all the nice hostels and nice owners, and then want to capitalise on poor people. You are selling a 2m X 0.5m box, it isn't a hotel. You don't even have seperate male and female toilets. I hate that people who see a potentially beautiful exchange of cultures, can try and take advantage of people like that. Almost every experience I had in Japan was so nice, so this is a big shame.

Room: Standard dormitory where you can access toilet and shower on each floor. Very convenient. The room lacked space for you luggage however. Service: Staff was super friendly, helped me with personal matter which was nice of them. The hygien was very good and they kept everything nice and tidy. Little tired of hostels who can not include coffee in the price, which is one thing I would like to have. No other amenities were included like towel etc so make sure to bring it if you don't want to pay for it. Place and price: Perfect for who wants to be close to the central. This area is actually my favorite in whole Osaka as it's small colorful streets with cool fashion, coffee brews and restaurants gives you warm feeling. For this price is a jackpot really.

My friend and I stayed in the mix dorm. It was quite a lot of people mostly men. I would recommend the girls to book girls only dorm if you like more privacy. The location was absolutely amazing! It’s tucked into a quiet part with the main spaces of Osaka a 15m walk. Would definitely stay again.
