We hosted a yoga retreat at Imabali! ||There are not enough words to express the wonderfulness of our experience at Imbali! ||Every member of the staff from those who cared for us during our meals, to those who kept our exquisite rooms clean, to the safari guides and those who we did not even see, swaddled us in their attention and kindness! ||There is much at Imbali to LOVE! The food was delicious! We nicknamed the watering hole our Elephant TV! The bush deer delighted us each morning! The rooms are fabulous!||If you are considering a trip to Kruger Park, you must stay at Imbali! You will not be disappointed, you will be enchanted!||While the name Imbali means flowers, to us it will always represent a HUGE loving hug from Mother Africa!

We could not recommend this Safari Lodge enough. From the moment we arrived, we were met with the most warm personal welcome from Mary. Made us feel at home instantly. The Lodge communal area is stunning. Views of the watering hole from the breakfast, lunch and dinner table. From here we could see elephants, Zebra, giraffes etc. Our room was perfect. Exactly what you want to experience in a remote Kruger Lodge. Has a real authentic South Africa feel. We loved it. The Staff at the Lodge were amazing, we didn't have to lift a finger as everything was organised and prepared for us. We were able to get two games drives per day and our guide Ryan was just the best. Very knowledgeable about all things from landscapes, to birds, trees, safari animals and we managed to see 4 of the big 5! The food at the resort was also perfect. We never went hungry and our two waiters made sure we had everything we needed. Moses also made sure we were completely content for the BBQ night. Overall we would have to say we had an incredible time here and can't wait to come back (hopefully next year).

Staying at Imbali Safari Lodge was the highlight of our three-week South African trip. We stayed for four nights in ultimate luxury and enjoyment. We took advantage of the twice-daily safari drives on comfortable and custom Land Cruisers. From the bush babies (hot water bottles to stay warm on the drives) to the delicious food choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it was clear that the folks at Imbali are thoughtful and thorough in the way they take care of their guests. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and relaxing. With a great view of the riverbed (and the elephants), we enjoyed our down time almost as much as we enjoyed our safari drives with Victor who on our first night spotted a 4-inch lizard twenty feet into the bush. While the lizard itself was not that impressive, it was Victor's ability to find and identify the flora, fauna, birds, and wildlife in Kruger that was on full display. Each subsequent drive was a grand adventure seeking out all that the national park has to offer. Upon return, Mary and the rest of the staff made sure that we were taken care of with good food and drink.

Had an amazing time here. The service and food from the staff was exceptional from start to finish. I'd particularly like to thank our safari guide Kingsly. His passion and knowledge for all animals, big and small, really made the game drive special and also provided lots of fun along the way! Imbali are extremely lucky to have him! Will 100% be back!|Jerry & Liz

Holy Moly! When I arrived at Imbali Safari Lodge, I was greeted with friendly faces and a cool towel. As I walked to the main room, I was completely hooked. Across the infinity pool and dry river bank was an elephant. This was my experience at Imbali. EVERYTHING was so much better than I imaged. And I have a pretty good imagination! Be sure to check out the photos! I recommend Imbali Safari Lodge without reservation. The accomodations, guides, food, wine, staff, EXPERIENCES are extraordinary. I didn't want to leave.

Just wonderful from the moment we arrived until we had to leave. The setting is magical with numerous animals using the watering hole all day every day whilst we enjoyed the amazing high quality food. The lodges are fantastic, real luxury with massive comfy beds and stunning furnishings. But the best bit has to be the twice daily safari drives; our guide Kingsley was just amazing, we saw the big five after 3 drives and then just kept experiencing the animals in more and more amazing situations - lion cubs playing with their pride 12ft from the truck, a leopard lazing in a tree eating an impala whilst being hassled by hyenas, huge groups of elephants, zebra, buffalo and giraffe, I could go on… we saw so many animals interacting with each other. Finally I must mention the staff at Imbali - they really care, nothing is too much trouble from making sure we were fed, watered, safe from wildlife, warm enough, enjoying the food and more! One tip I would give is that if your kids are fussy (like ours) then then staff are very happy to make changes to the menu for them, although they were clearly amused by my sons request for just a ham sandwich for lunch!
