Imm Hotel Tha Phae

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and very well-maintained. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. A special mentioned to Mana, one of the staff members who made my stay even better. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout my visit. His professionalism and warm hospitality left a great impression, and I truly appreciated his dedication to making guests feel comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service, great comfort, and a memorable stay. I will definitely return.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We arrived at the hotel with a booking confirmation via Agoda. The hotel staff told us Agoda cancelled our booking via email even though we have still shown the active booking on our Agoda mobile app. Agoda customer service representative later told us that it was the hotel that cancelled our booking. The hotel staff insisted that we do not have any bookings as well. Later on, Agoda showed the same hotel with the same duration as our previous booking but higher price. Either the hotel overbooked during our preferred booking dates due to the lantern festival or they just had to cancel our booking to get new customer at a higher price. The hotel staff are no help at all as if they didn’t care about us and about our inconvenience.

I stayed here for about ten days. First off, it has literally the best location as you have access to everything from local markets to Nightly and Sunday night markets. The staff were generally kind and helpful (shoutout to Ben, the young lady with the biggest smile at all times). Unfortunately, one night I was assaulted across from the hotel for which I asked for assistance with an emergency call which was turned down by an angry overnight staff member who literally said it’s none of our business. Shower curtains were dirty and the shower hose was extremely badly stained (quick tip: household bleach removed all that in about 10 minutes.) The staff also forgot to leave fresh towels for me in my rooms after a cleanup. The other extremely annoying thing was staff communicating/talking on their walkie talkies very early in the morning outside of the rooms in the hallways which woke me up almost all the time (which led me to change the sign from “do not disturb” to “please look after my room” because I simply couldn’t sleep more. Overall a good experience and I might visit this place again in the future.

I love our stay in Imm Thapae. Dont believe the google reviews very far from the truth. the location is perfect just a few steps from the Thapae Gate. the McDonalds below the hotel is also the meet up point of most group tours like those of Klook

Every single time someone go to the bathroom or use the shower you will literally listen everything. It was impossible to sleep. I don’t recommend this place if you want to rest, walls are like made of paper

Well-situated, easy access to main activity areas within old town. If it matters - hotel guests get 10% off from McDonald’s within same building. Basic rooms but good enough, as expected for price point, and most importantly clean. However, the only way to get hot water from shower means having to lower water output greatly such that the heater has time to do its job. Could use more power sockets. Staff cordial, hotel quiet despite location.

The IMM Hotel in Chiangmai is of average standard. The rooms are adequate. The bathroom are too much smaller, No place to keep the luggage and no wardrobe. The breakfast has minimum choices and he menu is the same everyday. Very few choices for vegetarian guests. The staff are not very friendly but still OK. They do listen guests want in room and do their best to ease them. I suggest, they should change their breakfast menu everyday with more choices for veg items so both veg and non veg can enjoy.
