"Dedicated in 1928 after an earlier church was razed and rebuilt, the Immaculate Conception Co-Cathedral is typical of Catholic architecture, with two cross-topped towers, a central rosette window, and a cruciform layout. The church is open for visitors to attend mass on weekdays at 6:30 a.m., Saturdays at 6:30 p.m., and Sundays at 8:30 a.m."

A beautiful Catholic Church just across the street from an equally impressive square with some massive trees with spectacular root systems and a quaint little fountain. The church itself is a lovely place to sit and relax and reflect. Please leave a small donation for the general upkeep and maintenance.

Beautiful church, right in front of Indenpendence Square, very easy to visit on a cruise stop, as it is very close to the port.

Nice quaint church next to the square. Small gift shop inside. No HVAC, obviously. PS-Didn't see a real Jesus.

We celebrated Mid Night mass on Christmas eve. The mass was excellent. The preaching and music was on point.

A local Catholic private school from elementary/primary to High School. Children from a broad section of the society attend, both citizens and non citizens. Decades ago Canadian nuns were the classroom teachers, they wore belts, veils, tunic, etc. Today the teachers are locals and foreigners wearing modern clothes.

A real Architectural wonder accessed from the independence square in Basseterre or from the road network around the capital. The Immaculate Conception Catholic Co-Cathedral is a functioning church and I noticed the Catholic Radio being promoted by them. A definite highlight of a visit to St. Kitts and Nevis and an important landmark in the city. The picturesque exterior of the Cathedral with it tall spires and the architectural details and imposing presence made it an outstanding point of interest for me during my walk-around of the City. No one had to tell me that this was a point of interest it commanded so much attention, The independence square was also a good point of interest as well. A worthwhile place to visit for those who appreciate these sorts of things and one can relax in close proximity from the park-like ambiance of the independence Square.

Lovely parishioners. Things I absolutely enjoyed include: 1)the youth choir during the Saturday vigil masses/ Sunday masses. The adult choir is also harmonious! 2) how the congregation hold hands during the 'Our Father' and how they move around to share the 'peace of the Lord'. 3) the welcome song ' O we love you, love you, love you, yes we do.., O we love you, love you, yes we do.., O we love you, love you, love you, no matter where you're from, for we have seen the risen Christ in you!! 4) The parish also had a bus and a parishioner who volunteered to pick people who need help in getting to church on Sundays and also back to their homes. Review is from 2014 (can't say if it's still the same)
