Pluses first. All of front desk staff friendly, most helpful! Clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Location is great to many restaurants and attractions. On site parking is great since not many parking places anywhere close! Minuses. No lift and even though hotel states staff will help you with your luggage, getting that to happen could of gone much better. Hotel also just had switched there cooling system over to heat, thus leaving our room extremely warm. Luckily we had a window that would fully open for outside ventilation. Asked front desk that if room didn't cool off, would there be any other rooms cooler. No other rooms available for our next night. Was clear to us that hotel was not full. Even though hotel is attached to an amazing restaurant, morning breakfast was just meh in comparison to all others in our three week trip.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I had a single room. It's small but enough for my needs. The room is nice and very clean. I like it that they have standards for their cleaning. It is perfect that it's located right next to the castle and a Michelin star restaurant, and I could find other restaurants around. It's within walking distance to other attractions as well. The breakfast included at the high rated restaurant was very nice. With such high cleaning standards and such a nice breakfast I think it's really good value for money. The only negative thing is the reception staff weren't very warm and they didn't inform me that I have to turn on the light in the corridor and where to find the switch.

They provided me with uncomfortable pull out couch that folded on itself while I laid on it. When I complained about sleeping accomodation they provided me with another room while the staff member assured me there will be no additional charge. That part was understandable even comandable. Yet in the morning during checkout we were surprised there was additional charge for the room change. I was both disappointed with original state of the room and with misleading customers. Instead of saying "don't worry about it" they should be upfront with any possible charges.

We went back to Eger after 20 years and this was our first time to stay at Imola hotel. Great location with the option for underground car parking for fees. We got room number 2 which was located on the first floor with a balcony to view on the castle. The room is not huge but includes a small fridge with drinks and sweets. Short walk distance almost everywhere. Absolutely lovely food at Macok bistro (Michelin awarded restaurant) which we may highly recommend. Very friendly staff.

A beautiful and well organized hotel, located a few meters away from the medieval fortress. Everyone at the hotel was nice and ready to help. We also liked the garage that can accommodate about 10 cars.

We spent just one night and it was fine. The rooms have a good size, shower is great (good pressure). The balcony has no privacy, it's a long corridor with chairs and tables connecting all bedrooms, but we didn't use it anyway. The breakfast was nice. The waitress kept refilling things pretty fast and helping when someone couldn't make the machine to work.

We are recurring guests for 3 years in a row. The location is great, so is the restaurant. The rooms are ok but their air conditioning is really due for replacing - doesn’t cool much and sounds like it’s about to explode which makes it impossible to sleep with it on. Then the staff is a mixed bag - the receptionists were friendly and the guy working the evening shift spoke great English (which is a unique feature in Hungary). The breakfast female attendant was a disaster though - we came like 30 min before the breakfast was closing - coffee machine was broken, no plates, no glasses on the tables and they weren’t stuffing the buffet any longer which meant we didn’t get enough bread of our liking. When we approached the waitress she helped us but with an attitude. We really felt like intruders and not like paying hotel guests.

I recently stayed at the hotel for one night and had the pleasure of staying in a rooftop apartment. The hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of the city, yet still offers a peaceful and tranquil environment. The breakfast provided was top-notch, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day off right. The room itself was well-appointed and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities one would expect from a hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist with any needs or questions. Overall, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
