"An Asakusa vendor offering roasted sweet potatoes and related treats, including daigaku imo — bite-size fried sweet potatoes glazed with syrup and sprinkled with black sesame seeds." - Yukari Sakamoto
Lovely corner sweet potato shop. It was fun seating and snacking while watching the tourists enjoy their Kimono shoot and there's a small fan machine to cool you down. Great tasty delicious sweet potatoes!!

Imoyasu is a great snack spot. Obviously, it has a great amount of good sweet potato goodness. This is a small, quiet stand in Asakusa near Sensoji Temple. The crunch from the sweet potato crisps is so lovely.

Queue from 10.30 before it opened at 11.00 the queue relatively short. I tried the sweet potato chips with the salted butter sauce. Its crispy and taste good. Maybe next time i’ll try the chocolate sauce one. The place is small and no dine in place.

the sweet potato chips here is enjoyable, as sweet potato itself is good. the crispiness is addictive and this is something you can snack on easily and would finish before you realize that everything is gone.

A surprise find during my sensoji temple visit. I was curious when I saw a bunch of people eating thin and crispy sweet potato chips so I decided to try one and it definitely did not disappoint! I tried the one with miso butter which made the chips sweet and creamy. If I were to get them again, I’ll probably try it plain as it’s good enough and the portion is just right.
