Lovely pub. Disappointed with the service from the northern english lady. She wasn't particularly rude, but rather passive aggressive and moody. Its a shame, because the pub looks fantastic, but is missing the friendly service to match. Also, they way over cooked my steak. I asked for medium, they nuked it 😞

Covid safe, the service was good. The meals came out quick enough, classic good pub style food. The boys where able to play 🎱 after dinner while we watched. Very relaxed, lots of laughs.

Lovely pub, I mucked up my order. They fixed it not a problem. Armidale was full of people with every dinner place full up. These guys were run of their feet. GOOD JOB

Nice atmosphere out the back, amazing steaks (a really great cut of meat), and would have given a five, except that our steaks were really overdone. (I ordered blue and got medium-rare verging on medium.) Still, I'll definitely go again - I'll just really emphasize how I want my steak done when ordering it. 😉

Great staff. Great food. One of the few places in town that I have ever left not disappointed. Not over priced. Good sized tasty meals. Nice casual environment. 3 warm fireplaces in winter. Good pool tables.

Actually an OK option for food - the steak was good as was the vegetarian lasagne. Big portions served with salad and chips. The beer garden is a nice place to sit when it's still warm and there was live music when we were there.
