Imperial Hotel Miri

Stayed 3 nights with family in a 2-bedroom unit. Loved the central location—direct access to the mall was super convenient. The room was spacious and great for families.||However, the unit felt dated. Sofas and carpets showed wear and stains, and one room’s aircon wasn’t cooling well. Bathroom fixtures need maintenance. Housekeeping needs to improve. ||Overall, it's a decent average stay , but it could be better. ||

“Lodging house, not hotel” Really shabby apartment, water leaked under kitchen sink (inside cupboard - we informed receptionist & nothing was done) and in the bathroom from under the toilet bowl. Bedroom curtains were stained. It was shocking. The lift/door access cards also kept resetting requiring frequent resets at the lobby reception. Don't let the words "Imperial" and "Hotel" fool you. Its location is great though, in the heart of Miri city.

A leakage problem occurred during our stay and they were fast in solving it by providing us necessities like bottles of water and constantly checking on us and eventually a new room. the receptionist was also very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool, gym, sauna, and the restaurant are all in good condition and the food is always good. The view is also beautiful here and the room service meals are very affordable. Furthermore, you can easily access to groceries , clothes and such downstairs , very good place to stay

The back door and windows of the family room feature only basic locks, which may pose a safety risk, particularly on the top floor. Additionally, housekeeping staff enter the room without prior authorization, which could be improved to uphold guest privacy and discretion. Despite these drawbacks, the property maintains a commendable standard of comfort, and its facilities are well maintained, contributing to an overall pleasant stay.

Clean bed,bathroom, restaurant have western and Asia food. Hospitality guest swimming pool and gymn. Fantastic Dinning Hall or small meeting room. Best place for gathering on Monday to Friday. Weekend more guest

The exterior of the service apartment looks nice but the interior requires further upgrading. The toilet especially seems run down. The sofa is dirty and smelly and my body itched when I sat on it. There were 5 pillows only for the 3 of us The aircon in one of the rooms was not cold and I reported it to the front desk staff for someone to service it. Unfortunately, it was still the same and so we had to bear with it for our 3 night stay. Not sure if anything was done about it.

I’ve been staying here since 2015 and I usually check in around three times a year. I’ve never encountered any issues during check-in. The room condition is consistently excellent, and the breakfast offers a wide variety options.

Very old hotel but can see that they tried their best to maintain the facilities in the hotel. The room is very specious and clean! Will definitely come back again.

This hotel consist of residence and hotel rooms is situated in the middle of Miri town. It was bought over by a new company and since then it has undergo lots of renovations and expanded with major shopping malls. The hotel rates are decent considering it is situated in the middle of the town. The convenience of being able to walk around to the next big mall and party along one of the most happening streets at night is just brilliant. I've stayed at their service apartments for a few times and it is very comfortable for any family who is looking for something more like a house. The unit I was in had 3 rooms and a big living room, dining room and kitchen with basic utilities. Quite convenient for families who decides to cook while travelling. The view, depending on which facet of the hotel you get can be very inviting especially when facing towards the sea. Definitely a wise choice for choosing this hotel to enjoy Miri.
