Imperial Palace Boutique Hotel, a Design Boutique Hotel Seoul, South Korea

"Making no compromises to style and comfort, IP Boutique Hotel offers ultra-modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. It enjoys a convenient location in popular Itaewon District, just 3 minutes’ walk from Itaewon Station. IP Boutique Hotel is a short 10-minute drive from Seoul Tower and Namdaemun Market. Incheon International Airport is about 49 km from the hotel. Artistic murals stand out against the pure white walls of each room, while mirrors give the room a futuristic edge. Each room also comes with a flat-screen TV, iPod dock and a glass bathroom. Guests may read emails at the business centre or arrange day trips around Seoul at the helpful tour desk. The hotel also provides laundry services and free parking. Café Amiga serves all-day Western buffet, with champagne and wine provided for dinner. Freshly baked pastries and fragrant coffee are available at Deli Amador." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

Staff were really nice. I was able to store my luggage with them for a small fee whilst i travelled a bit more of South Korea. This was helpful. I was mindful of the google comments about this place being noisy and having cockroaches. But actually it was quite quiet and no sign of bugs!! Ended up missing the place when i went to other hotels around South Korea. Would definitely recommend. Hope it stays nice and clean

I really enjoyed my stay at the Imperial Palace Boutique Hotel. The location is excellent, the entrance is stunning, and check-in was impressively efficient. I was especially impressed by how well the breakfast was organized - a perfect start to eachday. The only downside for me was the bathroom design. I'm not a fan of rooms where the bathroom feels like it's been "inserted" into the space, surrounded by glass and mirrors. It offers little real privacy, and it's hard to avoid your roommate in those moments you might prefer to. At night, the sound of the toilet tank refilling can also be quite loud and lasts for several minutes, which isn't ideal when you're trying tosleep.Aside from that, it's a very good hotel with friendly service and a great location. I'd happily stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable, which we really appreciated. There were mirrors all over the walls in the room not an issue for us, but something worth noting as it wasn’t mentioned in the listing. One thing that definitely should be advertised on Booking.com is that there’s a nightclub in the basement of the hotel. We were on the 7th floor and could still hear the music most nights until around 3–4am, which made it difficult to sleep. The air conditioning also didn’t work very well, so the room got quite warm as the windows don’t fully open only a small gap. Overall, while the room itself was nice and tidy, the noise and the weak air con did affect our stay.

Stayed at Imperial Palace Boutique Hotel Itaewon and had a good experience. The location is great — close to the subway, convenience stores, mosque, and halal food spots. It’s a bit far from some day tour pickup points, though. Room was clean and a decent size. Staff were friendly, polite, and spoke good English. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay!

Great location. The hotel is on the main road, just a 10 minute walk up the road from the subway station. It's on the same road as the subway station, bus stops and many restaurants, cafés and shops. Very convenient. It's also in the heart of Itaewon which is famous for its nightlife.I was very happy with the room amenities. I loved having a bathtub to relax in and a fridge to keep leftovers fresh and drinks cold. I was also very impressed with the modern decor and, the amount of space and storage space in the room. I didn't feel too cramped when sharing the room with my friend. The staff were also very good. The maid was respectful and the man at reception was very helpful when my friend needed to book us a taxi to the airport.I would definitely stay here next time I visit Itaewon.

Located conveniently, this hotel has contemporary design that felt more like stepping into an art gallery than a typical hotel lobby. Check-in was efficient.Everything was clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable after long days of walking around Seoul. The front desk staff were bilingual and always ready with helpful. He allowed us to check in earlier as we arrived from our early morning flight.Situated in a fantastic area in Itaewon, we had immediate access to trendy restaurants, nightlife, and world-class shopping. The closest subway station was a short, easy 7 mins walk,  making it simple to explore areas like Myeongdong and Hongdae. The Imperial Palace Boutique Hotel is highly recommended for design-conscious travelers, It provides comfort, style, and fantastic access to the city's pulse.

I had a wonderful stay at this great hotel. The staff was super friendly and the service at its best. the rooms are slightly old-fashioned with mirror-decoration, but nice and cosy. It's situated in the Itaewon district, where you'll have the best start in Seoul as a tourist. Good connection via metro to other interesting sites. Around the hotel are dozens of food places.

Since the hotel did the renovation, it has become quite terrible: nothing works in the rooms, the power sockets, the water in the bathtub and sink doesn't go away. They have small posters in the bathroom saying the hotel is going green to avoid single use plastic, but they don't have places to re fill water to drink, therefore they give you plastic water bottles in the lobby (contradictory). the rooms have very dim light. I use to love this hotel, but you can tell they are not putting much attention into it. won't be coming back.
