We travelled here by car, the parking was nice and safe. Rooms were very clean with bed heater and room heater. The window view is the best with snow capped mountains. And the best thing was the food, each and every dish was delicious and staff was also very professional and polite. If you are planning to visit sonmarg, this is the best hotel. Its good for all type of travellers like family, friends and couples.

I had a wonderful stay at Imperial Resort. The property is excellent, and the hospitality truly stands out. Especially Mr. SHABIR and the staff were exceptionally courteous, friendly, and always willing to help. The rooms were comfortable, and the heating system worked very well, making the stay even more pleasant

Just finished a 8D/9N tour of Kashmir, where we stayed at 4 resorts; this was the best. Great views: tall mountains on the front, and the Sindh river flowing serenely at the back,both visible the moment you open the windows. Located right on the highway, also is walking distance from the small Sonmarg market. The Thajwas valley trek and Zero point drive also start close by. The rooms are large in size, and well maintained and clean. Individual electric blankets were provided, which was very convenient. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. The dental and other kits were of good quality. The staff behavior was extremely good. Always present at the beck of your call and always willing to fulfill your smallest of wishes, with a smile. The breakfast and dinner menu were elaborate and tasty. Overall,highly recommended.

Situated on the rolling green meadows of Sonmarg, this hotel offers panoramic views of the hills across the river and the green meadows across the road. An expansive garden provides ample space to lounge in, and the big windows in the room bring the nature and the sun in. Rooms are equipped with wall-mounted heaters, and the bathroom has round-the-clock hot water supply. The restaurant menu offers standard vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Service is warm and efficient.

Wonderful, clean, cozy hotel. The staff go above and beyond to take care of their guests. My room had a beautiful view of the mountains and a heated blanket. I arrived after riding a motorcycle through a flash flood. One staff member insisted to wring out and lay my clothes to dry. Good luck getting that kind of hospitality at the Raddison or any of the more “premium” hotels in the area. Truly a special place

Please ensure what is communicated to you as charges, otherwise, it would lead to confusion and alteration with hotel people. Though this applies only to such people who book as walk-in clients. Room I got to stay was way too small. The staff is excellent. Food is good. However, this hotel also deals with package tours which brings in hosts of travellers who are provided food by their own cook. This makes the place too crowded. Location wise it’s excellent. But a reminder again, about the clarity which is needed in rates of you are booking in person.

Best location in sonmarg. One side glasiar view and back side river view. Even room heating system is very much effective, so good for family and children.

The rooms were not spacious as much but clean and well-equipped with all modern amenities, providing cozy and comfort.||The staff were attentive and cordial. The food at the resort was delicious. Buffet menu was sufficient. The resort is nestled beside the serene Sind River and is surrounded by lush forests of pine, fir, providing a tranquil and picturesque setting. Its strategic position places it approximately 1 km from the Thajiwas Glacier.||What stood out the most was the serene location—perfect for relaxing and soaking in the natural beauty of Sonmarg. Whether you're looking for adventure or simply a tranquil retreat, Imperial Resort is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended for families, couples, and nature lovers alike!
