Always great food! Super customer service (which is rare around here). I can safely say that I will not go anywhere else when ordering take out Chinese food! Try it, you won’t be disappointed!!

The food was decent, but not great. The food was prepared very quickly though, and the lady at the window was very nice. This place is carryout only, through a drive through window. The doors are locked you cannot go in, even just to pick up. Overall, this is a decent carryout Chinese restaurant.

Hands down absolutely delicious!!! Fantastic service and great human beings. Imperial Wok has been our go to for over 15 years. Our son even took some to college with him. Love the food and the people!

Generous portions for the price. I’m very picky with Chinese food but this gets 5 stars from me. Never any issues, and I always have leftovers. Love the drive up window too.

We order from here nearly every week and the food is always hot and delicious! Haven't had a bad thing yet! The workers are friendly, and the food is always done quickly and the orders are always correct. Definitely our favorite Chinese take-out spot!

I ordered some crab rangoon in a couple of egg rolls. Reasonably priced food was okay nothing special but like the vast majority. They have a drive up window which is nice and place looked clean and above board... service was good.. I picked up my order at the window so I have no idea what the restaurant itself is like I would have like to head a drink but she said they don't have drinks which I thought was odd. Wasn't expecting a fountain drink but I was expecting either a can or 20 oz bottle of something

Good amount of food, priced well, and made to order so it was hot and fresh. However everything was under seasoned and bland. So a disappointment in that aspect. We order fried dumplings, fried 2 orders of chicken wings, beef skewer combo plate, and crab Rangoon all totaled $35.

My cousin recommended this place once and now I order from there every time I visit Akron, OH. I've had veggie fried rice, veggie lo mein, and sesame tofu. They have also made general tso tofu for me before and that was delicious as well. Highly recommend.

My bill came to $7.25. I gave him $10. He handed me back $1:50, which I didn't realize until I'd pulled off. I also realized he didn't give me a receipt so I couldn't dispute it. When I got home the food was over cooked.

We have ordered from imperial wok for years and enjoy it. Today food was terrible! Egg rolls were so greasy i had oil all over my hand when done eating!. Rice in entress was very greasy like it was cooked in too much oil. Broccoli was over cooked and greasy. Do you have a new cook?? The wonton soup was almost tasteless? We haven't tried the pork lo mein yet we ordered too, I'm almost afraidto. We spent a lot of money , and it was not good. Very disappointing

food is good i've been coming here for awhile, but today i spent almost $88 on food plus a tip and they missed 4 of my egg rolls, i called and asked if i could get money back for what i didn't receive and the owner tried to tell me i only ordered 6 not 10. i asked if i add it up online will it be what i payed and her response was "well no" and after i added it up and tried to call back they blocked my number, its a shame it's only $4 worth of food but if they're going to try to gaslight me and lie to me about how much i ordered i wont be spending my money there and i suggest you don't either i don't like having my money stolen. it's drive through only too so if you have an issue similar and think you can get a different result i doubt it.

First time seeing an Asian restaurant that has a drive thru! I love this concept. The food was great, big portions for the price, staff was super friendly and fast. Would def recommend putting your order in online to speed up the drive thru process. Takes 20 mins after putting in your order for it to be finished for pick up at the window!

If I could give negative ratings I would, I ordered from here Togo and on door dash because I know how packed it can get on a Saturday evening. I waited 40 minutes for my food and at first the manager said 5 more minutes and then as that time went by I ask again and the new cashier who'd been standing there all along ignored me and says she doesn't know what guy told me that but another 10 minutes. If he's the manager and you're the hostess who do you think I was referring to?

Great tadte, prices, and portions! The owners are friendly and always willing to adjust orders to meet dietary needs! It is a must try for anyone looking for a great "to-go" place.

Chick and beef were both chewy. Sauce was not spicy at all for hunan. Rice was tasty. Would probably not return.

In the past I've always had great food from here but the last few times have been sub-par. The food has been chewy and lacking freshness and flavor. I think maybe it's time to find a new place. Sad because I used to enjoy the food from here.

Always delicious! I order from here frequently. Friendly staff, the food is always ready quickly, and the portions are generous. I've never had any issues with any orders. The drive-thru is a great bonus so I don't have to get out of the car.

This is the first time here. Ordered shrimp toast and it was almost burnt and oily tasting. Kung Pao had no taste at all. The vegetables were overcooked. The white rice was starchy. The shrimp curry with onion had no sauce. I could smell the curry but did not taste it at all. The vegetables in this dish were also overcooked. The only thing decent was the fried rice.

I am one to write a good review when one is needed & a negative one when I absolutely have a bad experience with a business. So I ordered 3 items from this location which I have done in the past. I approached the drive up window & was given my total, I paid & was a little surprised by the price as one wasn't provided to me when I ordered over the phone & I thought maybe some of the prices went up due to inflation (which is fine). So I proceeded to ask for a menu so that I could see the pricing, one of the female owners or family members proceeds to get snippy. "You ordered 3 things, they are $5" I replied back, Ok I don't care how many things I ordered, Ive ordered 3 things in the past & it wasn't this much, she then continues to get smart & then hands me my actual breakdown recipe which she didn't give me initially when I paid. I refuse to deal with terrible customer service, which I tend to get from these restaurants. These places need to get their act in order when dealing with the public, I refuse to support any business who has bad customer service, That will be my last time buying anything from them, they need to work on actually providing plasticware & learn how to clean their chicken properly before they go getting snippy with their customers.

I have been coming here about once a week for close to a decade. Fast hot food every single time. I have never had an incorrect order. This is not high-end gourmet Chinese, This is Americanized Chinese takeout at it's finest.

The food is awesome. It's one of my main staples. . I love their Vegetable Lo Mein! It's my primary food staple!

Had $60 food delivery 4/14. Website quite temperamental- 3 tries to complete order. Smallest serving of plain steamed rice I've ever seen- tiny tiny box- and we eat Chinese often. The veggie fried rice also a joke- very small portion and maybe 6-8 pieces of carrot and green peas, MAYBE; seemed just thrown in with plain rice didn't look like any kind of usual fried rice. I actually made extra rice myself to finish out meal. Only reason it got 2 stars is the empress chicken was well fried and pretty good, good sized shrimp with veggies. Doubt we'll order here again, too many hassles.

Yummy food with a great price. The only bummer was the lo mein noodles was mostly vegetables even though I paid extra to substitute the noodles for the rice. Still good value for your $

While Chinese food is a specialty of our family, the standards we keep are not as high as they could be. The food here at Imperial Wok are barely adequate. Yes, the food is hot. Yes, is is decently priced at lunch. However, the food itself rises to the plateau of barely edible. The service is nonexistent. And the customer/employee yelling matches--with profanity--truly reduced the already failing ambiance to zero. Needless to say, we won't be back and I'd just as soon not order for them either.

They have some of the best Chinese food I've had. The owners are super friendly and amazing sesame chicken and lo mein.

I've tried most of the Chinese spots in Akron and Imperial Wok is by far the best, especially when it comes to pricing. You get BETTER food than any other takeaway Chinese in Akron for a LOWER price. The food is never questionable or underwhelming. My carry out is always hot and I feel comfortable eating their food. Their meat is the meat that it says it is on the menu and it is always fully cooked. So delicious and CHEAP!! Perfect for a cozy night in.

I have been ordering takeout from this restaurant for many years and I have never had one complaint or concern. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. They don't mess up orders and they are consistent each time. I would definitely recommend!

This Chinese restaurant is a take-out only establishment. I visit this place on occasion when I am in the mood for some Chinese and my partner is in the mood for Subway (which is just next door). So, this place is more of a convenient stop for me than anything else. Their food is unremarkable but not bad. The lady at the counter who takes the orders seldom smiles but is efficient. My order is always accurate and usually ready quickly. I cannot recommend this place if you are looking for some good Chinese food (although my standards are pretty high) but Imperial Wok is okay if you are in the area and don't mind some average Americanized Chinese food.

We pick up from Imperial Wok about once a month. It's a departure from the more upscale Chinese places in the area, but the food is very good and we've yet to be disappointed. Try the Lobster Fried Rice sometime if you're looking for something filling and delicious.

I eat at this restaurant pretty frequently. Always get a General Szo tofu dish which never disappoints. It has a different texture than most tofus I've had. Not a huge variety of veggies but the price is reasonable, the food is consistent AND they have a drive through window for pick up.

Decent food for the price. The Orange chicken was okay; kind of just tasted like sesame chicken. The Lo Mein was very good! The Won Ton soup was tasty. Dumplings are great. Overall, out of all the Chinese places in the Akron area (I'm a Cleveland native), Imperial Wok is the best.

I like this place when I'm craving Chinese but don't want to spend outrageous prices on it. The food is tastey, and the price is right.

We have been ordering here for 3 years. It used to be fantastic. Hands down my favorite dumplings ever. It's changed a lot. Last time, I noticed it wasn't quite the same, but after ordering it yesterday, I won't again. The chicken lo mean was ok, but the chicken was weird and stringy. The egg rolls were tiny, and I don't think there was even any meat in them at all. The dumplings literally tasted like wet noodles. The meat inside was the size of a nickel and tasted like cheap sausage with no spices or anything. As it's the only Chinese takeout food on this side of town, I'm really disappointed that it's gone so far downhill to the point that I can't even bring myself to get eat it anymore.

Had read the reviews so I decided to stop and try their lunch buffet, I wasn't impressed as the selections were limited, trays were near empty and the food was bland. The desert container had m&m cookies. I'll try end on a positive note, the establishment was clean.

Lunch Buffet is 5.99 and worth every dime. It's small but everything is so fresh and flavorful. All you can eat for 13 bucks for two people. We love this place and highly recommend.

I liked their food it was a good experience. The buffet was actually pretty impressive and I loved their shrimp broccoli take out option!

This was our first experience here, probably our last. There were probably 12 or so items on the buffet, three of them soups. The food quality was just OK, however, the food temperature was lukewarm. It was definitely not impressive, barely adequate for the price. Probably the best thing on there was a stale M&Ms cookie or the fortune cookie. If there had been a microwave we would've reheated the food.

Ate here often. The drive thru window makes this place very convenient. I order the general tso's from here all the time and I recommend it. Staff is friendly. Good place overall.

I love this place! Awesome food at a very reasonable price. I got the vegetable lo mein and my wife ordered the Hunan shrimp. Both were very tasty.

Best and convient Chinese food for the value! It is good Chinese food in Ohio standards. I like their moo goo gai pan,shrimp in lobster sauce and beef and broccoli. The owners are nice as well.

Solid Chinese take-out. Our food was fast, inexpensive and on par with Chinese take-out standards. I'lll order from Imperial Wok again but would prefer a delivery option or closer option to Copley-Fairlawn.

With Chinese take-out available every few blocks in town, there are lots of choices, but this is my favorite hands down. The food is above average, serving sizes are generous for the price and service is very speedy, even when they're busy. I've never had a botched order or any other negative experience, though I avoid dishes with battered meats because they end up with a heavier coating than I like - they don't reheat well either, and I always have leftovers.

We take out here weekly for dinner or bargain lunch. Hard working cooks prepare ample and various dishes at reasonable prices. Best hot and sour soup in town loaded with tofu, egg whites, mushrooms and pork that can be fished out if you keep kosher. Great hinan chicken and lomein.

I have ate here in the past and the food was good. I went in last night and one of the workers 2-3 yr old daughter was walking around. That part is normal. I saw the little girl remove her diaper and walk around dig in her 'nether regions' (front and back), walk into the kitchen touching door handles and things. Her mother did not seem concerned about her nakedness in the kitchen. The mother was bagging food and scooping rice. I am sure she has touched her daughters hands. I was so dumbfounded I just took my food and threw it away. I did not even want to try to argue with them. I can never eat here again!

This isn't stellar Asian cuisine, but it's the same standard stuff we've all come to know and love. It isn't a dine in place just take away, but they have yet to screw up an order, somewhat of an anomaly in my experience, when I order shrimp products, they don't turn to mush by the time they arrive home, their combination plates are a great bargain for between $5 and $8 one gets an egg roll, choice of either fried or white rice, and one's entree of choice. I actuallly pass several other Chinese resataurants to go here just because they turn out a very acceptable product at a great price!

My husband and I always get our Chinese take out from Imperial Wok. We love it. The drive through at their new location makes it even easier to pick up the delicious food. It's seasoned well and service is always great.

Imperial is a solid choice for Chinese. I usually go with the sesame chicken, never been disappointed. And the price, there's no way you'll find Chinese this good, this cheap.

As one who has Chinese regularly, I would recommend imperial. Sauces seem tastier and more home cooked than typical Togo Chinese restaurants and service is fast. There is no place to sit, this is a dine in only restaurant.

This is my normal lunch spot as it's right across the street from work. I always do the buffet to go and it's well worth the cost.
