Lacking in many aspects. AC was not working the whole stay. We gave it the benefit of the doubt for a few hours. Then we informed them and they came to repair but no changes. During the first day, didn’t get face towels, iron, also fridge and one of the plugs near the bed were not working. We basically didn’t get half of the amenities we paid for. When asked about the iron, they told us to check the wardrobe? Oh silly us, we didn’t think of it before troubling ourselves to contact them.
When we provided this feedback during checkout out and expressed that the most pressing issue was the AC, they said that if they were told earlier they would’ve given us late check out. I was fuming but let it go. Please tell me you want us to stay longer and suffer the heat? Even the hallway, the lobby and the walk bridge were colder than our “sauna” room. The lack of awareness was appalling. I will be reporting this to the Tourism Board. Thanks for all that you were lacking and for no rectification on your end.
In terms of food, mediocre at best. Soggy hash browns, hard undercooked fried rice, only one type of cheese, to top it off, they only provide butter out of a big jar. When asked, they said it’s because many people took their mini butter with them before. Same when asked about the face towels. They only provide upon request as many face towels went missing before. Why do paying customers have to bear the brunt? Such CHEAP mentality coming from a 4 star hotel.
Took forever to top up items that ran out. One time, one of us asked about the milk next to the cereals, they told her to go get the hot milk at the coffee area for her cereal. The audacity! This person shouldnt be working in hospitality. You have to pay extra to get coffee from the coffee machine, only terrible watery coffee available with the buffet.
BEWARE. Stay here if you like to be sweaty all the time. Is it a hotel room or a sauna?
