This is a tough review to write bc ultimately the hotel was fine… but, it was not the 4/5 star hotel it rates itself. The location on Patong Beach is prime- the rooms are big and the pool and restaurant area are nice, however, it is dirty! I took my shoes off to unpack and my white socks quickly turned brown, the dust on the floors, ceiling cut outs, head boards and shelves was wild, the non slip bath mat was covered in black mold, the safe was sticky and greasy and the bathroom saloon door was broken. The bones of this hotel are great- but someone needs to seriously deep clean it. It was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed at in Thailand (almost $250/night) and by far the least impressive… the cost here is essentially to pay for the premium location on Patong Beach. The pool area is fine, and actually quite pretty with great views, but they need more pool chairs and they need to replace some of the very stained cushions and get more umbrellas… and, the pool towels are tattered and old and smell like mold and BO, even when “fresh.” They say there is a 45 minute policy on leaving towels on pool chairs, but we never saw them remove towels from anyone who was gone for far longer than an hour, even though we were spoken to multiple times about the policy each time we placed towels on chairs. Overall this hotel has the best location in Patong and allows you to walk to everything, like the location and convenience cannot be beat! But, it needs a major, major deep clean, some repair work done and more pool chairs. If you’re willing to pay the price, its def worth it for the location, but if luxury is what you are after, this is not the hotel for you.
