Impiana Resort Patong Phuket

Christina and I stayed several nights at Impiana Resort Patong Beach and, after some initial concerns before check-in, we would like to give a balanced review. First of all, the staff deserves special praise. Everyone we encountered was consistently friendly, attentive and welcoming. It is actually difficult to single out any individual because the whole team contributed to a very pleasant stay. The rooms are somewhat worn and could benefit from renovation in the medium term, but they were clean and well maintained. The pool itself is excellent – very clean with perfectly clear water, and it was a pleasure to use. The direct access to the beach is fantastic and one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. Another highlight is breakfast. Sitting in the open restaurant area in the morning with a direct view of the beach and the sea immediately creates a wonderful holiday feeling. The breakfast selection itself is good and absolutely sufficient. One area that definitely needs attention are the sun loungers by the pool. Many of the cushions are very worn and no longer look inviting – this is something the hotel should address. The main downside is the noise from nearby beach clubs. Deep bass music until around 2:00 a.m. is not uncommon, and sometimes partygoers continue playing loud music afterwards. However, this is less a fault of the hotel and more a reality of staying in Patong Beach, which is a well-known party area. Choosing a hotel here and expecting complete nighttime quiet would be unrealistic – similar to expecting a silent evening in an après-ski resort like Ischgl. Overall, Christina and I had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely consider the hotel again when visiting Patong. Considering the location and the overall experience, the hotel also offers good value for money. Because of the somewhat worn rooms and the pool loungers, we would rate the hotel 4 out of 5 stars.

Right on the beach. The room was clean and well appointed. A distant view of the beach was pleasant. Breakfast was good with ample selections to choose from.The staff are friendly and efficient.

Great location, right on patong beach with massage, restaurant, convenience store around it. Room is clean and staff is very helpful. Only let down is if your room is close to the main road, it is very noisy with busy Patong traffic till 2-3am, strongly recommended request for a room that is far away from the main road and the sun chair next to swimming pool is always full or reserved by guest with their pool towel even no one is at the pool or on the sun chair.

We had an excellent stay but a front desk staff called Tukta was extremely impolite and rude. Wish she was more considerate, we would have had a better experience! Kae was very good and always took good care of us! The rooms are big and spacious and we enjoyed our stay

I recently did a solo trip to Phuket from 12th to 15th December and stayed at Impiana Resort Patong, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The location is truly one of the resort’s biggest highlights. It has direct access to Patong Beach and is just steps away from Bangla Road (less than 500m away), Jungceylon Mall and making it incredibly convenient whether you’re looking to relax by the sea or enjoy Phuket’s nightlife, massage, eat and many more! Everything is within walking distance. The staffs were excellent—warm, attentive, very helpful and genuinely welcoming. They made me feel comfortable throughout my stay, which really matters when traveling solo. I would also want to say a big thank you to the GM as he made my stay comfortable and among other things. 😊 The pool is on the smaller side, but honestly, it wasn’t an issue at all when you have a beautiful 3km stretch of beach right in front of you. I spent most of my time enjoying the beach instead. I also did morning walk during the weekends and the sunrise is just amazing! You should too! Food at the resort was another pleasant surprise. The meals were authentic and flavorful, giving a true taste of local cuisine. Overall, Impiana Resort Patong is a great choice if you’re looking for beachfront access, a central location, friendly service and good food. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Phuket. Tips : 1. Make sure to arrive at Patong area especially going towards Bangla Road before 6pm (the earlier the better) for those planning to arrive on Friday, Saturday and Sunday because the road will be packed and you will be stuck in the traffic. My journey from airport took about 1.5hours to reach the hotel. 😅 2. Booked a taxi from Trip.com (few days before travel) as it is much cheaper at my end but is entirely up to your choice. 3. I bought my e-sim from Klook and it was smooth throughout the days. Activated a day before my flight and the instructions are very clear.

We have been holidaying in Phuket since 2013 and stayed in many beautiful resorts. Unfortunately, this was not one of them.|Resort is so old and needs a lot of maintenance to it. One thing that people need to know is how noisy this resort is. Beach club next door that goes from afternoon to all hours of the night, on the main road, so constant loud traffic noise till early hours of the morning.||Smoking around the pool is permitted, so if you are a non-smoker, too bad! Cigarette butts lying around the pool area on ground.||Staff are not super friendly. Especially the bar staff around pool. Definitely not what we have experienced in the past at other resorts.||Breakfast provided was poor. Not a big selection and so basic. |I feel the website is very misleading. ||Disappointed with our stay.

Hotel Impaiana is located right on Patong beach and has walkable access to key tourist points around Patong beach. There is a decent Indian resturant Amritsar near hotel which serves rich north indian food. The rooms are comfortable and have 24hrs direct access to beach front. Breakfast buffet is limited with limited choices for indian vegetarians. Will recommend this place on the strength of its location and easy access to Patong beach area.

Very outdated resort. Mouldy bathrooms, broken pool chairs, broken pool ladders, stained towels etc Breakfast buffet is seriously lacking. The resort is in a great location, beach front and walking distance to Bangala walking street but there is a beach club next to the resort that pumps window rattling music until 3am…. It also takes so long to get back to the resort if you head out of Patong due to the crazy traffic. Only a handful of the staff are friendly (the man who cook eggs & the younger man with the coloured sunnies that tends to you by the pool) Not worth the price, I wouldn’t return here
