Impostor Bar & Eatery

This place offers some of the tastiest Asian cuisine I've had in Budapest. Very impressive for portion size and quality. The dumplings are perfect. The bao is big and flavourful (we got the mix of 3 meats). The fried rice is unbelievable. Very funky vibe to this restaurant but it works. Not sure about the complaints on timing with the kitchen, our food came out after not that long at all. It shares the building with a bar so the cocktails are original and delicious, an added bonus. Only problem is maybe the music in the bar can be too loud for when you're just eating here but not a major issue. Definitely recommend visiting especially when considering how cheap it all is.

The place has a cool atmosphere, the food was awesome and reasonable priced. The pork belly and the spring rolls were very good. The waiters however were a little bit confused, but very nice nonetheless. Would totally go there again.

If you appreciate quality and style you’ll appreciate Imposter. By Hungarian standards this place is a cut above. The space has a great aesthetic, service is swift and super friendly and the food is the best Asian Fusion you’ll get in Bp. There are so, so many low quality, low ambition restaurants in Budapest. Imposter is a rare exception.

Although the dumplings are tasty, the kitchen is very slow and they also forgot about one of our beverages. The soup is not worth 4 EUR either, it's practically just broth. The place is seriously overpriced.

Really (and weird) combination of Latin (Mexican/brazilian/Peruvian) dishes and Asian (japanese/ Chinese/Vietnamese) food. You don't get it in a single dish. But you can order a starter from China and a main dish from Brazil, for example. There are even beers from these countries. Very interesting atmosphere as well
