Super cute place if you like sculpture art. Not too big you finish fast but def beautiful to see. Lovely staff, super friendly had a great time!

What a beautiful experience: small gallery showing Varga’s most exclusive pieces. I was lucky to receive comments on the exhibition by local gallery staff (very nice and professional). The location is easy to find in Obuda, 5mn walking distance from the Vasarely Museum. Worth a visit on a sunny day to enjoy the green of the garden too!!

Imre Varga's impressive sculptures are attractively displayed in the house and garden. Well worth visiting and good value. Some of his sculptures can be seen around Budapest.

Wonderful museum in Óbuda. Imre Varga created many of Budapest’s most familiar and thoughtful statues and you can see designs and models for them here. There are also some hidden gems you might not have seen before. Friendly, knowledgeable staff enhance the experience.

It's a quick sight of the restless intellect and broad vision of Imre Varga. The ticket is cheap and the Museum is nice. Try to combine the visit with Aquincum and the Vasarely Gallery in the same zone.

Absolutely fabulous exhibiton of the famous artist Imre Varga! Most kind and friendly people working on the museum. Check it out if you are in the neighborhood.

A National Treasure, Virtually Unknown by Most Tourists A lot of visitors are moved by Imre Varga's work at the Holocaust Museum, the Tree of Remembrance but are completely unaware of his museum that features over a hundred of his works. Unfortunately the city does not promote it.It is easy to get there once you know of its existence. The metro stops right around the corner. The museum has some full size statues, many models of large, public statues, some of his paintings, and medals he was commissioned to design. The place is a treasure trove that no art lover should miss!
