In-Credible

I had a fabulous stay here. Had to be in Nijmegen for a conference and everyone was so helpful here. Reached the hotel exhausted, and was immediately asked if I needed help getting my suitcase up to the second floor. The room was alright, clean, near, tidy. But the people were great! Breakfast was also lovely, even as a vegetarian. Honestly wish I could have spent more time at the hotel instead of only coming there to sleep. The vibes were great, would've loved to maybe grab a bite or a drink downstairs. Maybe next time!

Everything is pretty expensive and several of our dishes werent good. We had to ask for things several times and when they made a mistake it was still on the bill at the end. Used to be a lot better but since the new owner it unfortunately seems to lose quality.

Nice restaurant in the centre of Nijmegen. Very nice and informal athmosphere. A friendly staff. The food served is reasonable against fair prices. A nice place to enjoy a meal and relax.

Great beers and yes yes yes: lovely vegan snacks. View is nice too.

The staff are very polite. Credible however is a strange word to use when you charge 16 Euros or so for a breakfast and are handed a menu with prices in the restaurant. I was offered a medium breakfast at €9.50 because I asked for scramvled eggs. I was asked if I want spelt bread or a croissant. Both I said. Oh no, it's either or. After arguing the point of honesty with the waiter (still very polite) I got both. But why would I have to argue for an extra piece of bread on a 9.50 breakfast having paid around 16. It took from the visit. A policy change needed? Clarity needed? Have a think and maybe then the name credible will be more of a match. Again kudos to the staff fpr their politeness. I was even offered an extra slice of cheese. This is an issue for management.

In-credibly cold rooms! The hotel room was way too cold (est. 12-14C) and the heater much too feeble. Everything else we enjoyed, staff is super friendly, the restaurant quirky but cool, with a living room vibe, the food is nice. But we won’t come back in winter. Oh, and the shower curtain was also missing. (Edit one week later: the influenza with 38C fever is over now)

Reviewing the restaurant and not the hotel. Waitresses were slow and kept forgetting to bring what we asked for. The table where we sit was dirty. We asked for it to be clean, they did not clean it, they brought our food, and when we asked again they brought us a dry cloth to clean the table ourselves. They forgot to bring cutlery with our food, and we had to ask twice and wait for more than ten minutes to get them (the food became cold in the meantime). The food is not bad and the portions are big, but the staff should pay more attention to their clients.

A decent value place, with the option of a good value breakfast too. The room was nice and clean. Shame the advertised secure bike lock-up wasn't available - we were directed to the public underground bike lockup in the town centre.

During covid lockdown, i stayed here. What i liked: - there are one person rooms. Not big, but ok for me. - staff are very friendly - great location in centre of town - in room they provide brochures what you can do. It is possible to rent bikes Overall, planned already my next stay in this hotel.

A wonderful hotel/restaurant/cafe that I cannot praise highly enough. Bridges the gap between a cheap hostel and a fancy hotel perfectly. Wonderful, friendly staff, fair prices and a great atmosphere. This place is a home away from home and definitely worth a visit.

Credible is a very cool spot. It became our dinner destination thanks to their posted menu and bookshelves. It was quite packed but we managed get seats toward the upper back corner. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was quite good, flaky and dense. The chips were just ok. They lacked that crisp outer shell that I so enjoy.
