I very big thank you to Joey and her team for delivering the house just in time before CNY and outbreak of Covid-19 2 years ago! Joey picked up the pieces when the previous designer left without a word in the midst of renovation. Nothing was passed over. But Joey took the heart to listen and improvised the initial ideas. Although renovation was rushed but the quality wasn't compromised. From carpentry to plumbing and electricity. All was done nicely to our standard! Even the after sales service was excellent! Joey always tried her best to help if we have any issues. Making sure her workers come over to solve ASAP. I've recommended a few friends and they are too satisfied with their work! Please keep up the good work! 😁

I have decided to go forward with In-Expat after meeting with more than 10 other ID firms as they really impressed me with their design ideas and presentation, which really stood out from the rest of the other ID companies I have spoken to. The IDs that were assigned to me is Joey and Danielle (though she left the company halfway through the planning stage). Our first meeting was via zoom, where they tried to understand my design requirements. During the 2nd meeting, I met them face to face at their office and they impressed me by having prepared a presentation slide on the mood board and rough design plan that they are planning to incorporate. This really stood out as no other companies had such an impressive show of effort to capture our interest. Once the first payment has been placed, they provided the 3D rendering and were very patient in all the multiple changes that I requested. Once the design is settled, they accompanied me for the tile selection, lighting selection, etc. Once I have collected my keys, Joey provided a detailed Gantt chart on the expected timeline for the renovation. There were some hiccups here and there, as expected for any renovations, however, I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to keep to schedule and even managed to complete the renovations 1 week ahead of schedule. The workmanship is great and they are very open to rectify any of the defects I have raised to them. I love the end product of the renovation and will definitely engage them again in the future if I decide to move in the future.

Joey was really helpful throughout our reno project. We were unsure how to navigate the reno process as it was our first time doing reno and we lacked time to do our own research as our time was consumed by work and our young one. Joey was really patient and went through the process with us(covering all the details too). We felt assured knowing that we had Joey with us to manage the project. Even when there were some hiccups here and there, Joey was able to resolve the issues pretty quickly. The workers who were involved in the renovation process were amicable and easy to communicate with as well. Overall, it was a pleasure to work with Joey and her team and we now have a nice cosy place to call home.

We have recently completed our new apartment renovation. This is my second renovation contract with IN-EXPAT after the earlier work done in 2013. We interacted with Eric Lee & Justin Yeh, they are very responsive. They respond to all queries almost immediately and are open to our suggestions. The labourers they employ are very professional. I would especially like to thank the Bangladeshi labourers who were very humble and good at their work. This is the first time I interacted with people from Bangladesh and have formed a very good opinion of them and would like to engage them in future as well. At times, they have even done small jobs on my request outside their core work. The renovation work was of very good quality and they had finished on-time which is commendable given the current challenges of labour shortage due to Covid. Overall a very pleasant and satisfactory experience working with IN-EXPAT. I would like to say a special thank you to Justin who had overseen our renovation project. I highly recommend IN-EXPAT for your renovation work.

ID Joey was great throughout our entire reno journey with in-expat! We chose them as their carpentry is done in-house, right under their office space and they do 3D renders in 360 view! This helped reduce a lot of the ambiguity during the design phase. Of all IDs we spoke to, Joey was the only one that even did a presentation of her proposed theme and mood board during our discussion phase! She was responsive and she understood the theme we were going for. Also, Justin helped out with selection of furniture, and went all the way to courts with us to guide on our in-built appliances! Thanks to both of them for the lovely designed home!!

I'm not a client but I've been ghosted. Marcus, their project manager was recommended by my friend and he came down to see our house. His recommendations and the talk with him went well and we were keen to work with him. However, once he heard the estimated budget, which we were open to change based on his proposal, he never replied to my messages. I understand it's the company's prerogative to turn down clients, but a reply to decline the job would've been more professional.

My Husband and I are very picky with details and Kate has been patient with our queries and requests in the renovation process. She also brought our brief to life, marrying aesthetic and function into the designs. We are very satisfied with how our house turned out, thanks to Kate and her team for the job well done.

We started our renovation journey in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, where the renovation industry was impacted by MCO and a huge shortage of workers. We went with Justin and In-Expat as we were presented with the assurance and confidence that renovation works will be prompt and of quality. (I'm sure we have all heard the horror stories of renovation companies bailing over the course of Covid-19). Aside from that they have in-house provisions and as well as reliable partners. We were off to great start! hacking works were conducted in a timely fashion and of accuracy as well. Thereafter, we progressed to plastering and carpentry design discussions. This were two areas to be honest I was not entirely impressed, largely based on the initial quality of work done and the initial issues around the lack of attention to details. For the benefit of everyone, I am attributing this to the huge amount of projects and limited workers they were presented at that moment. As this is a fair review, I however have to give a recommendation to Justin and his Team, despite initial issues the various teams and Justin will painstakingly come back to the unit and rectify anything and everything that did not go according to plan or was up to expectation. From Carpentry Uncle, Plumbers, Electricians, Painters and even the Plasterers. Their commitment to get it right was admirable and obviously in this course of events our end date was slightly delayed. However on this note, renovations are definitely not easy processes but having an ID aka Justin and his Team trying their very best to get things right, especially given the limitations of the market. It was honestly a comforting experience and hence 5 stars! Thanks Guys and all your good work.
