Inaki Uhi Hotel

If, for some reason, I ever end up back in Easter Island, and I hope I do, I will stay at Inaki Uhi. The location is great, right on the main road of Hanga Roa, and a 7 minute walk to the ocean front. There are restaurants and shops all around, and a grocery store in a few minutes walk. The rooms were basic. I did not love that my shower didn't drain quick enough that I was always standing in water. The rooms/beds were comfortable, enough, and the garden courtyard and front porch are very relaxing. Breakfast every morning was simple, but a good start to the day. They picked me up at the airport and took me back as well, so that was super convenient. She took us on a brief tour of the neighborhood when arrived, so that was nice. The staff were super friendly, and made my stay feel homey without feeling intrusive.

Ivonne is a gem and managed to pick us up from the airport even though my husband gave her the wrong flight times. She even gave us a little tour of the town on the way back to the hotel, pointing out places of interest, and recommendation for sunset, and restaurants, shops, etc. The hotel is on the main street with plenty of options for restaurants and shops within walking distance. Our room was clean and there is a good selection of food for breakfast. You can get eggs made any way you want them. Staff are extremely friendly and Ivonne is always available and happy to help you out if you need anything. Would highly recommend.

I stayed here for only one night as I arrived in Easter Island ahead of the tour. The room itself was compact but clean & comfortable. The owners were very hospitable & gave me a cup of pink guava juice as a welcome drink which’s nice. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel itself is located on the main street but a fair distance walk away (10 minutes) to the beach so it’ll take some time to find your way around the neighborhood.

The most Mystic place in the world!|2 Inaki Uhi( and Yvonne and her helpers)|3 Te Moana restaurant ( food and staff)||But...Inaki Uhi is really Gam!|Fantastic location ( in middle on Main Street Atamu Tekena) Top place in Hanga Roa!|Great rooms.Great surrounding for relaxing!|Breakfast Fantastic!|Best eggs with bacon in world!( I try that more 100 places araund the globe) But Inaki Uhi is Unbeatable! Nice hotel in town. Very friendly and helpful service. Hotel staff extremely accommodating. Airport pickup and drop off. Even got a mini-tour between airport and hotel. Wonderful breakfast and coffee. Glad we stayed here.||Only caution is that we booked with rate in USD but due to inflated conversion rate used by hotel - 1,000 CLP to USD (when it was really about 944), we ended up paying $60 or so. more than we booked for the hotel for over four nights. (We booked three other Chilean hotels in USD and they all charged us the correct agreed upon rate so this was an issue specific to this hotel).

The location is great (easy walking distance to all attractions), the rooms are large, the shower pressure is incredible, and the staff is wonderful. They picked us up at the airport and were always very kind. Breakfast is a good selection of fruits, cold cuts, bread, etc. and we loved the resident dog, Guana <3 Despite being around a courtyard, the rooms were also very quiet and we always slept super well. We would definitely come back!

I thought it was a real hotel, but it's actually just a few rooms for rent and a small reception. The room was typical, but the windows look straight at the courtyard, so you have no privacy unless you keep your curtains down all day. The breakfast is OK, but every day the same. The owner superficially nice, but doesn't show much interest in her guests.

Perfect location! Walking distance to the beach many restaurants to choose from. Comfortable bed. Yvonne is very friendly. Pick up from the airport and easy check in. Wonderful breakfast included each morning.
