Inaki Uhi Hotel

Honestly, not recommended. I don’t understand why the rating so high unless everyone’s standard is low. Apart from located in town which is great, I don’t think there’s anything good that worth the price. Toilet is stinky even when you open the window overnight. The aircon is old and loud. The little fridge is weak. The whole thing feels more like a love hotel or hostel with a toilet. Like this is not a place to stay overnight for holiday or it will ruin how you see Easter Island if you choose to. Then, other hotels that with better quality but lower in price will provide free airport transfer. Here will charge you USD10 one way (4mins drive from hotel to airport) and just the hotel owner lady drove you and wouldn’t help with luggages at all. Also, the room keys always not work. Me and I saw one other hotel guest had the same problem. Imagine you do a stargazing tour and come back late, but you can’t go back to your room and need to stand there and wait for the owner coming to help with a problem that shouldn’t have. Also, breakfast is pretty low quality like a hostel style. To be fair, cleaning ladies were nice.

A simple hotel with a lovely courtyard. Ivonne is very warm and welcoming, she made sure we were happy. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed and a good shower room. It’s right on the Main Street so perfect to walk to shops, the sea etc. We enjoyed our stay there! Thanks to all the team!

If, for some reason, I ever end up back in Easter Island, and I hope I do, I will stay at Inaki Uhi. The location is great, right on the main road of Hanga Roa, and a 7 minute walk to the ocean front. There are restaurants and shops all around, and a grocery store in a few minutes walk. The rooms were basic. I did not love that my shower didn't drain quick enough that I was always standing in water. The rooms/beds were comfortable, enough, and the garden courtyard and front porch are very relaxing. Breakfast every morning was simple, but a good start to the day. They picked me up at the airport and took me back as well, so that was super convenient. She took us on a brief tour of the neighborhood when arrived, so that was nice. The staff were super friendly, and made my stay feel homey without feeling intrusive.

Ivonne is a gem and managed to pick us up from the airport even though my husband gave her the wrong flight times. She even gave us a little tour of the town on the way back to the hotel, pointing out places of interest, and recommendation for sunset, and restaurants, shops, etc. The hotel is on the main street with plenty of options for restaurants and shops within walking distance. Our room was clean and there is a good selection of food for breakfast. You can get eggs made any way you want them. Staff are extremely friendly and Ivonne is always available and happy to help you out if you need anything. Would highly recommend.

I stayed here for only one night as I arrived in Easter Island ahead of the tour. The room itself was compact but clean & comfortable. The owners were very hospitable & gave me a cup of pink guava juice as a welcome drink which’s nice. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel itself is located on the main street but a fair distance walk away (10 minutes) to the beach so it’ll take some time to find your way around the neighborhood.

I thought it was a real hotel, but it's actually just a few rooms for rent and a small reception. The room was typical, but the windows look straight at the courtyard, so you have no privacy unless you keep your curtains down all day. The breakfast is OK, but every day the same. The owner superficially nice, but doesn't show much interest in her guests.

The location is great (easy walking distance to all attractions), the rooms are large, the shower pressure is incredible, and the staff is wonderful. They picked us up at the airport and were always very kind. Breakfast is a good selection of fruits, cold cuts, bread, etc. and we loved the resident dog, Guana <3 Despite being around a courtyard, the rooms were also very quiet and we always slept super well. We would definitely come back!
