Number one, it depends on your expectations. I was extremely happy with this place, but I'm looking for inexpensive but clean and comfortable. It's a no frills kind of place, but it was so much nicer than most places in the price range that I would definitely recommend them to budget travelers like me. Desk staff was really helpful. It's very conveniently located in downtown Moab. Food, bike rentals, etc were all within a block or two. We'll be back for a longer stay next time :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great stay at Inca Inn! The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable—exactly what we were hoping for. Arun checked us in with a warm smile and outstanding customer service. He gave us excellent local food recommendations and even came by after check-in to make sure everything in the room was perfect. It was a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend staying here!

Google
Was clean. Relatively quiet. Good value. Nothing was overly remarkable. Further from the center of town so not much street noise, but is a farther walk if you wanted to be in the thick of all the shops etc. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again unless I wanted to upgrade for a place with a pool for some reason.....

We arrived with a broken RV and already had a reservation here. As soon as we got there, Aaron welcomed us with great energy and a big smile—he instantly put us all in a good mood. He helped us a lot with the RV parking, which was tricky to manage, and was constantly attentive. Because of the RV situation, we had to rent an extra room for my parents, and Aaron was incredibly helpful and efficient throughout the whole process. Honestly, the experience and service exceeded the price of the hotel. We were very happy with our stay—the hotel was great: comfortable, clean, and well-kept. Highly recommended!

Google
The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. When I checked in I was impressed with Arun's hospitality. He greeted me by name, had my keys ready and made the check in process very easy. He made sure we had enough towels and keys. He was kind, quick and very welcoming. I was amazed with how great the price was and how wonderful our experience was. The location was fantastic. We were close to Arches and enjoyed an art festival close by. This place is a gem!

Google
Nice surprise when I checked in, the guy in the front desk went out of his way to make sure my room was acceptable. He was very friendly and helpful. Room is clean and everything works. If there was a negative, you have to check in at their sister hotel next-door, "Adventure Inn Moab". I didn't find a problem with checking in at the hotel next-door. If I ever come around this area again, I will certainly check in here.

Google
We were comfortable, the room had fridge, also microwave. The AC was on so we practically did not hear anything, quiet for us. Hot water was great, supplies were generously provided with extras. Parking was tight, but it was not bad. Checked in was at next property, no problem at all. Everything was within walking distance or less than a mile away. We enjoyed our stay and will not mind returning here again.

Google
We stayed at the Inca Inn for a couple of nights with a toddler. The beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water and clean towels. Fridge and microwave were greatly appreciated. A/C blew quiet and cool. Arun, the manager was extremely helpful and checked in with us from time to time. Recommend this place and would stay again! Thanks!

Tom B.

Yelp
Sheer curtains (bright lights all night long), fridge didn't work (breakfast had to be thrown out), water pressure in sink sprayed you when washing hands, shower water pressure was weak in comparison, ac unit was incredibly loud, no shelf in shower for soap, Bed however was comfortable. Definitely not worth $160 a night.

Eric S.

Yelp
Yes, Moab isn't cheap but this place is way overpriced. Trash in the parking lot and outside of most of the rooms. Air conditioner was noisy. Walls are thin. Sink and shower water pressure uneven. Room service did not include sweeping the bathroom floor or cleaning the bathroom sink while we were there.

Corey C.

Yelp
Looks fine from the outside, but a disorganized mess. There is no front desk, you have to go to a different hotel to check-in, which feels scammy.

Krissy H.

Yelp
Should be more like 3.5 stars it is an older hotel that they did a half ass job remodeling tabs have been re-painted. It's already chipping just things that you noticed that we're done pretty shoty it did seem clean that is a huge plus and we love that it's one level and you can park right out in front of your room. About five minutes if that to Arches national Park and Canyon land We feel super safe here. The pool has been filled in with concrete and they just put a couple mismatched outdoor cheap chars on it looks tacky, could be super cute with maybe a gas fire pit and nice chairs etc super weird there is a little kiosk to check in so you don't see anybody you're talking to somebody online on this l kiosk, and this machine will actually give you your keys your receipt everything very easy to use

Yelp
I was desperate to find a hotel on Easter weekend and everything was booked and overpriced. This place wasn't worth the cost of $217 for one night but considering availability I guess it was. Very friendly attendant. Room smelled like food the whole time. The room was also not clean, Bathroom walls with toothpaste splatter from previous guests, nuts on the floor. It is cosy and has traveler feel, great that you park the car in front of your room. Dog friendly but extra charge. Pool out of service. A paper on the door said that due to Covid no breakfast is served to then find out there was when I drove out ... Shower inconsistency with heat so be careful.

Dan D.

Yelp
There's a lot to like about the Inca Inn, right off the highway, walking distance to restaurants and best of all, parking right in front of your room door. Unfortunately all those pluses are soon forgotten when you see a big clump of hair on the shower wall. Not sure how this could happen but it's not like it wasn't visible. The check in process was sure interesting and different, the clerk on a computer screen from who knows where. It actually worked pretty well, minus the bing echo from the empty lobby but I can also see the benefit of having enough help. He wasn't very helpful with restaurant or pub ideas but there was plenty of places. The Inca Inn is not a luxury property, but it has a comfortable bed, decenter pillows and again, the bonus of having my pick up just outside my door.

Theresa P.

Yelp
Room was what I wanted and expected. Clean no frills with a comfortable bed. I did not care for the virtual check in with out a real person They advertised a continental breakfast but one is no longer available. They need to update website and signage to reflect the change.

Shasta L.

Yelp
This was a perfect charming little motel in Moab. The rooms are clean and the beds were pretty comfy. I especially liked the lighted shower head made for a colorful shower with no need for candles. The pool was small but a great place to cool off in the summer sun. Located right on the Main Street convenient to all shops, restaurants, and whatever/wherever else you need. And love the chairs outside the doors made for a comfy sunset watching experience while drying off from being in the pool. I'll be back.

Vito S.

Yelp
Terrible experience. The room was attached to their restaurant. Incessant banging from the restaurant into the night. Bugs in the bathroom sink. Asked to talk to management was told he would give me a call. He never did. The motel was not cheap. Much better choices in that small town.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
There was a roach in the bathroom, ants in the bathroom, the outlet in the bathroom was above the toilet so couldn't use the hair dryer provided until they brought an extension cord the next day, however, the office was closed at 10am the next day for some reason when I tried to ask for one so it was later in the day, the phone didn't work, and I had to ask the person in the next room from me to turn down his TV because I don't think he listened to the person at the office.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
There are some perks to this place. The front desk guy was nice enough. It's in a decent location and felt safe. But I give it a 1 star due to cleanliness. That is my biggest pet peeve especially because we travel so much. I don't want to lay down at night in a bed/space that is still dirtied from the previous tenant. I can't. My OCD won't let me relax. It's disgusting. When we stayed here, the bathroom was so nasty. There was toothpaste behind the sink on the wall, and all over the wall next to it, like no one had ever thought to wipe it off. There was a ton. Everything in the bathroom looked gross, even the toilet paper holder, but the biggest deal breaker...when I went to take a shower, someone's long brown hair was covering the drain, and I had to use toilet paper to grasp it and pull the clog out. Sooopp nasty!

Trudy R.

Yelp
DISGUSTING!!!! Unless there are new owners this place is dirty and the staff doesn't answer the phone or the front desk. Can't remember the reason but there was no continental breakfast but worse was the FILTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The other people staying next to us had to give us their coffee as no one would answer the phone at the front desk or even come up to the front desk. All of us agreed the rooms were dirty and probably were never even cleaned. They had some scary looking "smoking lounge" in the back with some garbage and cheap chairs laying around. DO NOT STAY HERE! Of course pool was closed not sure why.

Paulo F.

Yelp
Surprisingly really clean! The staff was super friendly and checked us in in less than 5 minutes. Next to a Mediterranean restaurant. Will be coming back.

Yuvaraj V.

Yelp
Lovely local stay: I wish there were more places like Inca inn to stay. Great location, prompt staff, local flair, nice room and fast wifi at a great budget price. Wifi was the fastest in Moab. They called me at 9.50 pm to let me know that check in was about to close at 10pm. Very polite and friendly staff. I could really notice the difference at breakfast. They didn't use any cheap styrofoam, they recycle and had fresh fruits and I could see them refill breakfast items with care, the staff seemed happy - unlike the $3/hr unhappy staff in chain hotels. Somehow that negativity creeps into your food and stay, which it doesn't here. Lot of international guests. Overall, a fantastic option for your Moab stay. I'd come here again anytime.

Yelp
We showed up after a several hour drive to a freezing cold hotel room - we assumed the the owners didn't turn on the heat ahead of time, which while is not the most customer service-oriented approach, made sense to save money. So we unpacked, wearing our winter jackets. Still freezing, we figured it just needed more time to warm up so we turned up the wall unit all the way and headed for dinner. After a full sit-down meal (with dessert), we returned to discover a still freezing room. We walked to the lobby, which smelled so disgusting that my kids and I couldn't actually stay in the room (frying fish?), and were told we could just switch rooms. My husband then proceeded to check out several rooms, each filthier than the last (seriously, our first room had a bin of dirty wash clothes on top of the microwave and it only got worse from there). After evaluating all available options, we decided that we simply couldn't stay there. We had prepaid for the stay through a third-party site, but the owner let us leave, only charging a single night's stay. Annoying, but better than eating the entire cost. We were not expecting fancy, we were just expecting cleanliness (their website says over and over that they are clean, if nothing else). It was not. And it's not even a bargain - our stay was during off-season, and there were multiple other hotels in the area that cost $5 more a night, but included better amenities like a hot tub and playground for the kids. Maybe we stayed on an off night, but I am genuinely shocked by the yelp rating. The staff wasn't rude, but they also didn't really care about the situation, which added to our decision to leave. I would definitely caution any one planning to stay there to look into other options before staying here.

Yelp
Moab is a bustling little town and it's possible that motel rooms may be hard to come by at certain times, particular weekends, and so the Inca Inn may appear an attractive and affordable choice. But I suggest you try to find an alternative. The Inca Inn is clean and in good repair, but it is basic - for me, a bit too basic. For example, breakfast is very limited, the room furnishings are sparse, the TV is the old type (not flat screen), and the shower is very small. It feels like a hostel with private rooms. The price is not low enough to make me say "So what", thus my recommendation. But if you end up here, it won't ruin you trip. PS: I think it only fair to mention that the general manager sent me a personal email explaining that the basic-but-inexpensive genre is what they are aiming for. They certainly hit that target. But 4 and even 5 star reviews seem to promise more. It is not Inca Inn's fault that they get such reviews, but I think you should know what you are buying. I might still buy it at that.

Yelp
This place does not suck but it also isn't the greatest place to stay. You can definitely do worse in the world (and in moab) but you can also do better for your money. I stayed here prior to 5 days of camping and climbing in castle valley - to recharge and take a shower after a long drive. Clean but... why is this place rated so high? Guests were older jeep fans, front desk wasn't very knowledgeable of the area, I think not my sort of outdoor enthusiast. I suspect they're somehow managing their internet reviews. Room was very clean and practical. Sheets were soft and clean, water was hot but still this is a very basic hotel for the money. Main downsides were the road noise - lots of trucks drive through moab at all hours. Breakfast was really basic, like... not breakfast for a hungry guy. I eat better out of my car and you eat in a tiny waiting lobby, little chairs and tables. Room is 10'x10', gets crowded, folks are encouraged to carry their mini muffins back to their room. Coffee was Utah-Standard. I stayed for $79/night. in future I'll either pay a little more for a place that is quieter and has a hot tub (aarchway) or pay $40/night and stay somewhere in the town of Green River (which also has a hot tub). Later on the same trip I stayed at Aarchway Inn with family: quiet, 2 queen beds, hot tub and pool (surrounded by hotel building so no road noise), bbq grills, weight room, basketball court, included real BREAKFAST and nice views to a wetland and the canyons across the river to the west, and that was $125/night.

Julia Z.

Yelp
Live up to its ratings. A cute yard with rooms. And they are sweet to have some cloth cropped small in the room for you to clean the mud from the Arches or around. It's very nice to do so instead of only forbidding people using the towels. The room is very clean and neat. Love it. Good enough and warm for a night stay in winter. And the crew are friendly and helpful. And the breakfast is simple but I guess it's pretty good for a motel. With your car parked in front of your room, you can simply warm the car in the morning, while packing your luggage and have breakfast.

Steve G.

Yelp
Expensive, smelly rooms, a/c unit is very loud and runs always. Needed a place with short notice and INCA had rooms available. But over priced and as stated above. Would not be my first choice or even my second???? There is a middle eastern restaurant in front of the motel , it has no atmosphere but the food was very good and the wait staff was very nice.

Jamie H.

Yelp
What a great place to stay! I forgot to snap a photo of the room, but it was clean and comfy! You can tell it's an older building, but as long as it's clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable (which they were), I'm happy! The wifi here was great, much better than in some "fancy" chain hotels I've stayed. They also gave three options for the wifi in case one didn't work, so that's great! The guy who checked me in as well as the woman who checked me out were both very friendly, nice and helpful. Inca Inn is on the further end of the "strip" but it's very walkable to the far end and back without an issue. They offer a free no-fills breakfast, but it was plenty enough to get me through the morning...and hey, it's free! No complaints there. Ample parking and a cute environment. Next time I'm back in Moab, this will be my place to stay!

Jamie B.

Yelp
Exactly as described, no super bells and whistles because that's not what we needed. It is everything you need and no frills. We were passing through after a long day of traveling and looking for somewhere just like this to stay that wasn't expensive for our needs. After sleeping in the car the night before because we tried to keep going on our trip, we really needed a bed for the night and a hot shower. We paid about $55 for a long size bed and had our hot showers and relaxed in the comfy bed and flipped through the channels on our box tv. (Had all the movie channels, and if it ain't broke then don't fix it) People complaining about the room may be used to a resort style hotel/motel. This is not that, this is everything you need with a few extras but nothing that is gonna make you have to pay a lot extra because of it. My husband and I both enjoyed our stay.

Jimmy P.

Yelp
While solo road tripping through Utah national parks, I couldn't have asked for better value than Inca Inn! It may look a little rough around the edges from the outside, but everything was clean, the room was comfortable and quiet, the staff was friendly and the service excellent. Plus there's free Starbucks coffee - a couple times they even put on a fresh pot for me when my caffeine-addicted ass needed a pick-me-up at 6 pm. The parking lot is a little tight, but finding a spot wasn't a problem, and you can't beat the location -- three minutes from a bunch of restaurants and eight minutes from Arches! Overall a great home base exploring the surrounding beauty and hiding out from the snowstorms during my time in Utah.

Yelp
When we arrived, the manager informed us the room wasn't ready because the room was next to the boiler room and the boiler was broken. It had leaked water into our room. He told us the repair person was fixing the boiler at that time. He would also dry the carpet by the bathroom where it had leaked from the boiler room. We asked him point blank if it would be repaired and the carpet dried by the time we were back and he stated yes. He informed us there were no other rooms available. He mentioned another hotel that had a room but didn't have enough beds and would require a rollaway bed. Because he assured us the problem would be fixed and the other hotel room didn't have enough beds, we elected to stay. When we came back the carpet was damp, so we picked up extra towels for the carpet thinking it was just a little damp but that was okay, even though it wasn't dry like he promised. The manager was at the front desk and gave us the towels, so he knew the room number we were in and never stated the boiler wasn't fixed. The next morning the water had spread under the bed to the other side of the room and all of my mother's things were soaked. In the morning we went to the front desk to check out and talk to the manager. We were informed he wouldn't be in until later. So, we explained everything to the woman at the desk. She took detailed notes, which she wrote down in front of us and read back to us. We explained how dissatisfied we were with the situation, wanted a refund, and definitely wanted the manager to call us back. We gave our cell number. The manager never called us, so we called him that afternoon. He claimed he never received a message from the front desk. Then he stated he wasn't the manager, but was only a desk clerk even though he presented himself to us as the manager AND the woman at the front desk called him the manager. Then he said rudely, "Tell me what you want", and we told him we wanted a refund. He said he can only give us $50. We told him that was unacceptable. We will never stay here again and do not recommend anyone to stay here.

Barry V.

Yelp
We typically don't stay at budget properties but decided to give the Inca Inn a try. Chain hotels were two to three times the price for the weekend we wanted. Plus we likely would not be in the room much. The Inca Inn delivered on everything they advertised. The room was quite comfortable and the staff was very nice. We had a room at the back of the property and it was pretty quiet. It is easy to walk downtown from here. We would be happy to stay here again if in the area. The bottom line is we saved $100 plus, a night staying here and sacrificed very little (if anything).

Nielet D.

Yelp
We stayed here last year on our Utah-Colorado road trip. This nice little motel is very close to the Arches National Park. There are many good restaurants around here. Speaking of the motel itself, it is clean and well maintained. The rooms are good, very clean and nicely maintained. The shower head had a fancy light which I liked a lot. There are some magazines and information brochures too if someone is interested in finding out about local activities. The WiFi works surprisingly fast. There is a small pool too if you want to cool down when its too hot in Moab. The motel provides a continental breakfast consisting of fruits, orange juice, coffee, cereal, hard boiled eggs and muffins which is a very good selection before heading out for a hike in the national park. The staff at the front desk provides good service, is very friendly and offered us a few recommendations as we were headed to Colorado. Overall, this is a good place to stay while in Moab.

Sara T.

Yelp
We liked that this place was unique and a bit quirky. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave which was nice. There was a dirty washcloth left in the shower. But we were shocked when we stayed one night and were told that if we leave our stuff in the room the next day, they'd simply charge us for a second night. We got a good deal the first night - the second night the guy cranked up the price even though almost all his rooms were empty and told us it was because of high demand. We feel scammed.

Mary T.

Yelp
Wasn't a fan of the two cockroaches in our room. We asked to switch rooms but they were completely booked for the days we were there. They kept mentioning how common cockroaches are for that area and did not seemed as concerned as my husband and I. Bugs are common everywhere..however, they should not be a "common" thing to have in a hotel that's suppose to be clean. The other not so comforting thing was the lady we spoke to said they sprayed our room 3 days ago so "they might just be coming out now." I dont even know how that's acknowledging our concerns. Also, the toilet was horrible and got clogged so easily. We had to request fresh towels, toilet paper and even request to have the manager contacted twice since we were unhappy with our stay. For the price we paid this was extremely disappointing and deceiving due to the 4 and 5 stars we seen on Yelp and Google. I was totally fine with staying in a very basic hotel since we were only using it for sleeping and showering. However, even for just showering and sleeping there we were disappointed. I will say that the only person who seemed to take our concerns into consideration was Craig (I think that was his name). Both my husband and I were impressed with his professionalism compared to the other employees we dealt with. I'm not saying your stay will be as disappointing as ours. But I always love reading real and honest reviews and figure someone out there would appreciate this.

Porter R.

Yelp
The room was incredible. Everything was clean and orderly. But beyond the hotel room is the customer service and staff. They are so welcoming and accommodating. They were willing to help with a problem that was resolved in a matter of seconds. They are quick, effective, and incredible. Given the choice of places to overnight in Moab, Inca Inn Motel is by far my favorite!

Russell R.

Yelp
My wife & I spent 7 really great days here. The king size bed was comfy and we slept great. We were in room 123. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great for us. We hike. We get up at 4:00am to be on the trails by 6:00am to avoid the heat. Mavericks gas station open 24 hrs is across the street with fresh coffee & fresh made breakfast burritos & egg sandwiches. The hotel is on the north side of town closest to Arches Nat Park. . We only tried the free breakfast once. It was fair. We really liked parking in front of our room. This hotel is a hotel for active people. The staff tries hard & is very friendly. It is weathered by the heat & dust. We enjoyed our stay very much. The pool was closed. .

William B.

Yelp
A clean, simple, inexpensive place to stay in Moab -- not a great breakfast, but the wifi is fast and strong. And the colored lights on the showerhead are memorable, if strange.

Pedro G.

Yelp
This is not a negative review,...BUT, it's not very positive either. It's grossly overpriced!! I paid $200 a night plus taxes. For that price, go somewhere else. I understand this is Moab and it's high tourist season, BUT... 1. I booked because they advertised a pool. Well, the pool was closed and had been for a long time. 2. The room was fairly small and so was the bathroom with no counter space. 3. The towels had seen better days. They need to be replaced now!!! One of them had a big hole in it. 4. The carpets need to be replaced quick! They looked really bad. 5. The vending machine was "temporarily out of order" 6. They ask you not to fill your cooler with ice from the ice machine, but there's no freezer where to freeze your ice block. 7. The breakfast area was really tiny. Bunch of folks grabbed and went to their rooms to eat. I have no complaints about the bed (comfy) or the people (quite nice) and I liked that they're going solar, but if you're going to pay $200 plus tax a night, go somewhere else.

R V.

Yelp
Nicely kept property. Seems a bit overpriced, but not a lot available to compare with. The desk crew were really helpful. Had some green chile I was traveling with get frozen in my freezer in the fridge, and the guy went above and beyond to help me get it out before I moved on.

EJ A.

Yelp
This place was 80 dollars a night which is over priced for what you get in your room. The inside is outdated, shower pressure sucks but hey at least it lights up, Tv is a dinosaur. Oh and be carful when you stay here be sure to return the room keys. When we checked in no one told us about returning the keys during check out. As we ate breakfast we get an annoying call saying that we were going to get charged 10 dollars per missing key. This was NOT MENTIONED DURING THE CHECK IN PROCESS SUCH A SCAM! I mean luckily we were still in the area to return them.

Ben C.

Yelp
Nice solid BUDGET motel. They make no pretense that they are a budget motel. I was there for 3 nights the weekend before Thanksgiving and paid a whopping $50 a night for off season rates. Can't beat that with the caveat being that you get what you pay for. The good: -Room was nice and clean. They provide dedicated rags for wiping down gear and such so you don't get the towels messy. Nice touch (and smart on their part) -Bed & pillows were comfortable. Probably one of the better hotel beds I've slept in (I think it was better than the hotel I stayed in up by the SLC airport) -Room was fairly spacious. I had a single king and there was plenty of room (granted it was just me) -Nice complimentary breakfast. It's limited (cereal, instant oatmeal, hard boild eggs, toast, some mini muffins), but again they clearly state this going in. -AC unit wasn't obnoxiously loud. Sometimes you get one of those in wall units that sounds like a truck is driving in your room. This one wasn't. -Solid WiFi (multiple AP around the property so you can get whatever works best) The not as good (I'm stretching for most of these): -Bathroom could stand to be updated. Everything was in respectable shape and clean, but was clearly showing it's age. Think 1970's pale yellow linoleum & tile. Gave it kind of a retro feel. -Shower was small. Not a tub (didn't matter to me). But kind of felt like showering in a phone booth. Also, the shower head only came up to my shoulders (I'm 6') so that was a minor annoyance. The multi color LED shower head (not sure why it's in there...) excited my inner 9 year old. -The TV was probably old enough to vote. Seriously. Granted, I really just used the TV for a little filler at the end of the day before going to bed, but don't be expecting a 50" HD flat screen. -While not a major issue for me, it can be a touch noisy. Not obnoxiously so, but you are aware that you have people right next door (similar to most hotels). Not loud, but you aware the shower is running if you are in your bathroom, or if the people next door to you are part time baggage handlers at the airport (seriously I don't know how much luggage the people next door to me had, but I swear they were unloading & reloading a UPS truck every night and morning). The Ugly: -Nothing. So in summary: Nice solid budget hotel. Everything you need, nothing you don't. It's not pretending to be something it's not. Great hotel for using as a base point for whatever you are doing in Moab. If you want to lounge around in day spa or something pick a different hotel. If you want a hotel that just does the basics (and does them will) at a price that's easily half of what the other places in town are charging, choose here. Side Note: Parking lot is tight, so don't expect to bring an RV or a trailer in there.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay very much as the first major stop of our 2-week Utah road trip. We were even convinced to stay an extra night! It isn't fancy, but it is clean and comfortable, and the staff is excellent! Everyone we spoke with there was so nice. And one of the hosts helped us with jet boat reservations, offered us coupons for various restaurants, and hand drew a map to a good motorcycle road for us off the main areas. We would not stay anywhere else if we return to Moab. My only real wish would be that they have a coffee pot in the room (I'd gladly trade the microwave for it), as the breakfast did not start until 7 and we are typically early risers (around 5 or 5:30) that prefer coffee before getting in the shower. But, it's not enough to knock even one star off for. And yes, the shower is fun. It's like a disco in there.

Yelp
The best in basic accommodations. The room was very clean and well maintained. It even had a bottle opener on a wall. The WIFI ACTUALLY WORKS and works well. The breakfast was pretty good. I'd definitely stay here again if I am in Moab.

Yelp
Such a great place to stay in Moab! Inca Inn may be no-frills, but it was clean, comfortable, affordable, and in a great location. It's right next to an amazing rock shop, and directly off the main road, a short drive to the downtown area. Breakfast is fine, nothing fancy, but there's hot Starbucks coffee for free - a huge bonus! Do yourself a favor, and drink that free coffee while you sit outside your room and watch the sunrise.

Yelp
Super clean, good breakfast, free Starbucks coffee all day. Right on the main stretch through Moab. Staff was super nice/helpful. Def recommend.

Yelp
Amazing! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with advice on national parks. Breakfast was great, coffee was perfecto! The room was spotless, bed was extremely comfy. Water pressure was a little too light but that's fine. Highly recommend this place, great price! No complaints

Yelp
I'm sorta sad that I can't give the Inca a 4.5 rating, but I'll have to settle with a 4. So. so. so. close to perfect I feel guilty about the 4. I had a late arrival in Grand Junction (much less the drive to Moab) and e-mailed the Inca Inn to let them know. They told me although their office would be closed by the time of my arrival, the manager would tape my room key on the office door with my name on it, and also put a key in the door for me. That's really, seriously nice. Most hotels would be like OFFICE IS CLOSED. FIND ANOTHER HOTEL OR SLEEP IN YOUR CAR. I REALLY appreciate the fact they worked around my schedule and did the best they could to accommodate me. Everything went perfect without a hitch. My key worked and I didn't find a bum in my room. As advertised, they really are a great budget and clean. VERY clean. Honestly I tried to find some dust or dirt just to call them liars but I can't. My room was spotless, even my bathroom corners were crude-free. I think this is a first in any hotel that was considered "budget friendly" much less one that's considered a motel. They have new flat screens which I wasn't expecting. On their websites they show pictures with old tvs which didn't bother me. Want to know why? YOU'RE IN MOAB. If you have time to turn on the tv, you don't belong there. My boyfriend and I didn't turn on the TV once. The room could have been tv-less for all I cared. Continental breakfast is good there. Granted it's just a handful of items to get you through the day, but I love the fact they make their own bread. Coffee, a couple of boiled eggs and a slice of bread with butter and you're good to go. My only bugaboos were issues with the room itself, and I'm sure it was just my room and not the rest. My bathroom door did not close. It needed to be slammed shut and pried open. Thankfully I was traveling with just my boyfriend and bodily functions don't bother us. Gross, but true. Door open pooping and showering. The front door lock did not lock. The turn to lock mechanism did not work. Thankfully the regular lock automatically locks when the key is not in. The shower heads do not adjust. I get that in Moab most tourists are all gigantic Germans or other Europeans, but for a shortly like me, it would have been nice to not have to attempt to crawl up the wall to get a decent shower. That one bugged me the most. :( Like I said I feel guilty for not giving the Inca a 5 star rating... But know they're just so, so close that I'll definitely be staying there again. :)

Yelp
The price was really high for a drive-to-your-door motel in a tiny town. $150 per night. On the second morning we found a roach in the room. We were there during the Canyonlands half marathon, so I'm sure all the hotels in the area had their prices jacked up. Still, that was an unbelievably bad price for a subpar room.

Yelp
Erika's review is very helpful. Wish I could give it 4.5 stars, too! Great find! Thanks Yelpers! Great hotel to stay in Moab on a budget. Had the same issue as Erika with a late arrival. I called ahead and they left a key for me and I checked-in in the morning. Room is very clean and spacious for what you pay. Shower worked well. Bed was decent. All in all, a very good value! A nice, cozy motel that the owners treat with TLC. Staff is great and very helpful! Side notes: I can honestly say I have never seen keycards for the door like they have! The inn is less than 10 minutes from Arches on the north end of town.

Yelp
Walking distance to just about everything in town, reasonable price, really clean room, friendly staff.. Those are the most important things.. I would so stay here again just for price alone but here are some things that may bother you ... 1. Small pool with very small lounging area by the pool ( barely fits a chair) . The motel is very aware of their shortcomings and they leave a flier in your room pointing out all the things that I have mentioned and wanting you to know that they pretty much just strive to give you a great price for a really clean room and that's exactly what they do.

Yelp
How could this place possibly be rated so highly??? The following were our experiences: 1. The door would not open - it needed new hardware. 2. It was HOT and the wall cooler wouldn't cool the room down. 3. The staff looked like they were complete bums. 4. Parking was so tight as to be dangerous. 5. The continental breakfast was hard boiled eggs and mini-muffins. 6. The room was cramped. 7. The restaurant adjacent was the worst meal I had in 2 weeks on the road. I will NEVER stay here again - want cheap but cooler? Stay at the Apache. On another website the proprietor decided to attack ME instead of my critique. He said I should have gone to the website - I DID. It didn't say anything about broken doors and a wall cooler that kept my room at a sweaty 85 degrees. He also defended his staff's attire- yeah the one whose pants had holes in the crotch and you could see his... um... "anatomy"- real professional place. Lastly, any place that handles reviewers concerns by blaming the reviewer should immediately be placed on your list of "don't go theres". Remember the old days of, "we're sorry sir, can we make it right"? Those days are long gone at the Inca Inn- if they ever existed. Stayed July 2013 PS - I see, again, the management of Inca Inn has responded. They fixed the problems? Gimme a break. They didn't even acknowledge they existed in the other "response". Now, suddenly, they fixed them that same day! You can add "dishonesty" to my concerns as well. Look, I travel 5-6 months out of the year. I travel annually to Arches NP. I had a bad experience here and the responses to my concerns have only served to validate my opinion. My wife said it plainly, "sometimes saving $20 on a room just isn't worth it".

Yelp
I loved this place!!!! OK, it's not modern and shiney, but it has very nice character and very clean. The staff went out of their way to help us and the coffee was terrific. One morning my battery was dead (a 2 year old Toyota shouldn't have a bad battery, but it indeed was bad), the young man that worked housekeeping offered to let me take his jeep to the parts store and get a new one. I just got him to boost me. He didn't want any money, I had to make him take 10 bucks (tossed it on the counter and walked away). Highly recommend.

Yelp
Stayed for two nights in August while visiting Arches and Canyonlands in Moab, which is an expensive city to stay in during the tourist season. The location is great. It is one of the closest motels to those National Parks, allowing a quick pit stop or late return after catching a sunrise or sunset. They called me at 9:00 to let me know that the office closes at 10:00. The multiple electrical outlet strips was greatly appreciated, as were the microwave and mini refrigerator. LED colored shower was interesting. Breakfast was decent. All in all, definitely worth the price.

Yelp
As good as it gets. This little independent motel was brilliant - we could not have been happier. Welcoming staff and atmosphere as soon as you arrive. Simple 'U' config with drive up to your door. Nice Adirondack chairs outside each room so you can sit and relax and enjoy the temperate climate. Decent sized room and bathroom - all spotlessly clean. The bathroom had new tiling and a modern shower curtain and shower head with excellent water pressure and hot water. Cable TV, strong/fast wifi, fridge and microwave. Though it's on the highway, we didn't hear a thing and slept well on both nights. Breakfast is included with cereal, toast, juice, fruit and a few pastries. Coffee too, which is available all day. There is also a Mexican restaurant in the car park but we didn't try it, preferring to get some exercise and walk the short distance to town. Their pool is small but spotless. After a hot day at Arches, we sat on the edge eating ice cream and dangled our feet in. It's heated so there were also some people swimming. For those who have brought bikes, they have bike lock up facilities too. At the edge of town - Arches NP end but within walking distance of the centre. This hotel was relatively small but it's extremely popular and I heard the owner say they were booked out for weekends a few weeks ahead so, get in early and book. Give your money to the independents instead of a chain!

Yelp
Yes, it exists, a true budget motel with clean rooms, great ammenities and friendly staff. We arrived and were in our room in under 5 minutes. Super friendly check-in with a layout of the area and coupons to a few local restaurants. You're right in the middle of the action so everything is only a short walk away. The rooms were clean and everything you could hope for at the budget price point. There is free wireless, TV with HBO, free parking, a very nice pool, and complimentary breakfast. I will definitely make this my go-to spot when in Moab. Arches is just 5 minutes down the road, if that, so definitely put that on your list.

Yelp
This place is brilliant. Perfect simplicity, cleanliness, and thoughtful art decor. The right place for conscientious people with the right values. Family friendly. Budget done best!
