Fantastic - forget your diabetes ... you really must visit this place to try the profiteroles. They were so good. And with a delicious tea what more could you ask for.

Inci is one of Istanbul's most historic and important touchstone. Founded in 1944 by Luka Ziguris, this patisserie remains a top choice for profiteroles. The cream's consistency and the lightness of its chocolate make it hard to understand how you finish the first plate quickly. The flavor and quality of other patisserie products we tried were below average. Furthermore, the service quality and staff reflect the weariness of years on customers in a negative way.

You must visit this place to try the profiteroles. They look very sweet, but they’re not! I’m telling you — even people with diabetes could try this without worry!

The place has a historic charm, but I found the taste of their pastries disappointing. The cream was not to my liking, and the texture wasn’t what I expected. If you’re looking for classic Western-style profiteroles, these might not meet your expectations. Worth a visit for the history, but not for the flavor.

We went there after so many years for good old days sake. Profiterol was my favorite in the past but not any longer, sorry. I’m sure they have not changed the formula or taste but my taste does not fit there any longer.

The iconic İnci Pastanesi opened in 1944 on İstiklal Caddesi, quickly becoming famous for its profiteroles and classic interior. In 2012, the gentrification that has driven almost all of the original small business owners on İstiklal also forced İnci to move to a nearby backstreet, abandoning its home of nearly seven decades. Though the new location isn't quite the same, the taste of its heavenly profiteroles hasn't changed in the slightest. As İnci remains open until midnight, it's common practice around Beyoğlu to ditch dessert after dinner and head straight here for the real deal. The profiteroles are self-served over the counter. You get your plate and have a seat, and check out at the cashier yourself. There’s no table-service. The taste is quite unique, nothing much has changed over time, still the same recipe with quality products, filling and the chocolate sauce. Profiteroles price might seem a bit high. As of April 2024 it was 160 TL per portion. Overall score 4.4/5 for a Patisserie

Order the signature dishes, Profiterol. But its overrated. The chocolate sauce taste like a cheap quality. Pay 30TL for 2 options Have many other tempting desserts to try.

Came here on a night on a weekday and got the supposedly famous profiteroles. It was okay. It’s just a cold dish that’s pudding with hardened chocolate on top. Nothing special and probably wouldn’t get it again. They do accept credit card here and there was no line or wait

Yelp
This review is both in Turkish and English: Istanbuldaki bir suru yer son zamanlardaki guclukler ile kaliteden odun vermeye basladi. Inci Pastanesinin profiterolu hic bozulmadi. 1970 lerde ben kucuk bir cocukkenden beri gittigimiz, alistigimiz kalite ve lezzet halen ayni. Bravo Inci. A lot of places have been compromising on quality lately but not Inci Pastanesi. I have been coming here since I was a young boy back in 1970s and the quality and the flavor of profiterol have been the same. Thank you Inci, my family will continue to support this Istanbul establishment for many more years to come

Yelp
This place is a must in Istanbul. They have one of the the best profiteroles in the city. I absolutely love this place and would recommend it! Although it was situated in Istaklal Street, it has moved to Mis Street right by. The only OK thing I'll say about this place is the price for tea: one small cup of tea is 3 TL.

Yelp
This place is supposed to be famous for its Profiterol was mediocre at best. The chocolate syrup was cold.
