Independence Hotel by Dara - Sihanoukville

Had a fantastic stay at Independence hotel Sihanoukville! The rooms were modern, clean, and had stunning ocean views. The private beach was beautiful and perfect for a relaxing walk. Breakfast was excellent, with a great mix of local and international options. We also filmed a video capturing the hotel’s beauty—it’s truly a stunning place. Highly recommend! I haven't been back here for a while. First time staying at the Sea Pavillion before. The building and rooms are kind of run down. Most of the things look old and in need of maintenance or upgrade. Location is still fantastic with the infinity pool, sea board walk. The price is somewhat still high provided the condition of the hotel and service provided. I would still recommend this place for its unique location and landscape.

It is a beautiful place both in nature and seaside along rocks and the beach. There are multiple pools indoor and outdoor, by the hotel and the ocean. There are multiple restaurants and bars and decent roads easy enough to navigate. I would definitely go back and stay longer. The nature, animals, and beauty is insane. The only thing that was not great are the cost of water and the cost of some of the dishes, especially with what you get. However the food was okay and the buffet was good.

The room was clean and tidy, providing a comfortable atmosphere. The staff offered a warm welcome at the lobby, and everyone was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast featured a delightful variety of options, including Cambodian, Western, and Chinese dishes—all included with the stay. The view of the sea from the room was breathtaking, and opening the curtains allowed the refreshing sea breeze to fill the space.

"I really liked that the hotel was in a quieter area, away from the places with Chinese-style signs. The building is old and you can feel that in the facilities, but it didn’t cause any inconvenience during my stay. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was great, and the pool was a nice bonus. There was also a nature-friendly garden that was perfect for a relaxing walk. Overall, it’s a great spot for families."

Business Trip stayed at Independence Hotel. There is the very nice resort hotel, quite, relax and natural environment. Tried the different foods at Sunset Restaurant, is delicious. Very nice Swimming Pool and Beach, enjoying the time after work.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I always love coming back for the amazing view of the swimming pool and the beach, it’s definitely my favorite spot in Sihanoukville for that!I stayed in the Pod Village rooms this time. They felt a bit small, but overall they were fine. I really appreciated the natural surroundings and the peaceful vibe. The breakfast was good, and overall I truly enjoyed my stay.
