I really want to give a higher rating because a lot of love clearly went into this museum. What was greatly lacking was more detailed accounts of what each level of the museum was describing. Each photo or artifact had a brief description of the people or items, but no context to the historical timeline. I noticed some televisions and iPad stands in different rooms, maybe to explain exhibits, but they weren’t on. I felt absolutely transfixed by the imagery and passionate history told throughout the museum, but I left feeling like I needed to research the history of Namibia more, not that I learned it at the museum. It’s also notable that the museum is fully free and free access to the beautiful view from the rooftop.
