The greenery around India Gate is well maintained, with lush lawns and open spaces that make it a great spot to relax, walk around, or spend time with family. The atmosphere feels calm yet lively, with people from all age groups enjoying the place. The monument itself looks grand and impressive. Although visitors are not allowed to go very close to the main structure, you can still view it clearly from a short distance. This does not reduce its charm, as the area around it is spacious and offers plenty of good angles for photos and sightseeing. One thing to note is that photographers are frequently present and often approach visitors repeatedly, asking if they want photos taken. While this can be slightly irritating for some people, it is manageable if you politely decline. Apart from that, the overall environment remains pleasant. India Gate is especially nice for families with children, couples, and tourists who want to experience a relaxed side of Delhi. In the evening, the place becomes even more attractive with lights, people walking around, and a cool breeze. Overall, India Gate is a must-visit landmark in Delhi. There were tourists from all over India, families, school groups, and foreign visitors, all adding to the lively atmosphere. Despite the heavy crowd, the area felt well-maintained and secure, with proper police presence and cleanliness. India Gate itself is majestic and emotionally moving, especially when you know the historical significance behind it. Walking around the monument, reading the names of the martyrs, and standing near the Amar Jawan Jyoti gives a deep sense of respect and pride. The lawns surrounding the area are beautiful, and many people were sitting, relaxing, and enjoying snacks from nearby vendors. As evening approached, the weather became pleasant, making the visit even more enjoyable. After sunset, when the lights come on, India Gate looks absolutely stunning and is perfect for photographs. Parking can be a bit challenging due to the crowd, so public transport is a better option. Overall, despite the crowd at 4:30 PM, the experience was worth it. A must-visit landmark in Delhi that beautifully blends history, emotion, and vibrant public life.

Super polluted and over crowded , this place is good wide open park and water areas to sit and spend good time with friends and family but but its so crowded and polluted that you can barely see india gate, all smoke and no visibility at 50-100m , and so many tour guides and travel group counting on your money, with some scammer and lots lots of force photographer, save your money, time and health, its better you divert towards any low crowd and good air place, i stopped smoking for quite sometime now but when i went to delhi i felt chest burn and heavy breathing problems. But its a good protected area , if government take proper steps then that place looks majestic

As this place has some good energy. This is my second time i visited which honours Indian army who lost their lives in various battles. I would recommend use Mask during travel as the AQI is unhealthy.
