Google
They pack the container up ( I already ate a lot prior to taking the photo) !! The amount of food they put in is amazing. I ordered the Rice and Goat, and that combo had me wishing I ordered another. Order through the website, and the price is a lot better. Will 100% be going back.

Google
The Food Was EXCELLENT!! I would have given 5 stars but they only serve hot or cold chia tea and TAP water as the beverage options. They could also add more welcoming and decorative decor to match the theme they want their customers to feel immersed in. All In All DEFINITELY WORTH VISITING.

Me and my friend are Indian food lover. We wanted to try new Indian restaurant so, we came here and everything was amazing. We ordered Chicken Korma, Butter chicken and Samasa Chat. Thank you Varshi for great service!

Tony May

Google
The food was absolutely phenomenal. My siblings and I are from out of state and visiting Cleveland for leisure. My sister found this place and suggested we check it out after the aquarium, and it absolutely delivered. I added photos of our table (as you can see, my plate’s been scraped clean) and we got; Chicken 65, Chicken Biryani, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Masala. All of us really enjoyed what we had too! Even though we all got chicken dishes though, it definitely showed that they could cater perfectly to vegetarians as well.

Google
The atmosphere and vibe was great. Neethu, our server, was very sweet and friendly as we do not eat Indian cuisine much. She was a great help! The food was phenomenal!

Google
Very nice food bar a few exceptions. Paneer makhani was absolutely delicious cannot recommend enough. Naan bread was also better than most. Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the vegetable platter starter vs the meat one (Baring in mind we are both pretty carnivorous). The service was good and we enjoyed the hospitality laid down from Varshi. Would definitely go here again just to sample what other hidden treats are to be found!.

Google
Good food, service not so much - very dismissive. I went online prior to opening to view menu and schedule an order. The online ordering system advised it doesn't turn on until 3pm, even though they open at Noon. No biggie, decided to stop in and place my order at the counter. Got there around 12:30, lady at the counter took my order and I asked about the lunch special I saw online. She dismissed my question and said "everything on this menu you can order". Figured we had bit of a language barrier. So I proceeded to order a Samosa and the butter chicken. Total: $21 and it would be about 20 minutes. I sat in the waiting area and proceeded to go back online to view the menu which there is a pop up for Butter Chicken Bowl and other lunch specials for $12. When my food was ready, I inquired with the same lady showing her my phone and what I specifically inquired about. I would have gotten the butter chicken bowl versus paying more for the butter chicken entree (about a $3 difference). She proceeded to say, oh we don't have the bowl and as I began to share my online experience a door dasher came in and the lady I was talking to walked away from me to the counter to greet the door dasher while I was in mid-sentence. Then proceeded to say she would be back to me. When she returned I told her that she was being real dismissive and I didn't feel heard - with my question or sharing my online experience. She apologized and said they just opened up at Noon and have orders to fill. I said then said, so dismiss a customer you have right in front of you? It was like the lights were on, but nobody was home. I felt like I was talking to a brick wall. Very strange and I won't be back. Nonetheless the butter chicken with rice and samosa were good.

Google
We had a great time dining in. The taste of the food, portion size, and prices were great. The food came out in good timing. The young lady who served us was so pleasant! We felt welcomed and not at all out of place. We’ve eaten Indian food before but this was our first time eating at an Indian restaurant. I’d definitely return ♥️! Ordered the Veggie Starter, Paneer Biryani w/vegetables, Chicken Masala, Naan Bread, & 🥭 Mango Lassi’s. I held back a star for minor details, nothing at all to do with food quality. Would have given 4.5 stars if possible.

Yelp
We were in the mood for Indian food today and decided to try somewhere new. This place was such a cute restaurant! The decor is modern and attractive and the music selection was also a pleasant mix of modern pop music. We tried the samosa chaat which was a new dish for both of us. It was surprising and delicious with the crunchy samosas and a really flavorful sauce. We also had chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi and butter naan. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures. Ha! But everything looked and tasted great and the medium spice level was just right without being too spicy. Our server was friendly and helpful. This is definitely a great find with some crave able flavors on the menu. Looking forward to returning!

Yelp
The service was terrible. The food was delicious. She never came back to bring me water, and napkins, or to even check up on me to see how my order was never bring my rice to me. They need to hire some more waitresses in this place. The food is delicious.

Ebony J.

Yelp
Yelpers, ok so here's what's up! I went in to be seated in a clean area with a polite waitress kindly waiting for our requests. The first aspect of my visit that caused the decline was the plastic cups. Yes, my friends, you read right. Plastic cups as a dine in option, to put it mildly, was an awful feeling. The table was nicely arranged though so it made the wait more bearable. Once we ordered, the food took about 20 minutes to come to us, I ordered many options just so I could taste many things. The food we ordered was too much for our table and instead of asking us to move to a bigger table the server helped us awkwardly attempted to adjust. After tasting the food we were pleasantly surprised that the flavors were delish, the portions were very large, and the cook came out to check if we liked everything. The naans were refreshingly delicious and gave us just the taste odd another culture we needed. The reason for the decline in stars is that our table stayed cluttered and dirty, and the waitress did not check on us after we started eating, so yeah, the wait service needs much work. The food was good though, try this place y'all!!!

Zach K.

Yelp
Best indian spot in cleveland! Chicken tikka missala hot and lamb vindaloo are great. Cant go wrong with mango lassi up front to go either

Jeff W.

Yelp
Really good. I took my daughter for Valentine's Day . Amazing food we probably ordered way too much food but we didn't care

Amy J.

Yelp
Rogan josh was kinda spicy despite asking for mild. Nothing great. The masala curry w okra (bhindi) was so flavorful and full of fresh veggies. It was mildly spicy as well and a nice mix of garlic, tomato, and onion flavors.

Pd I.

Yelp
Love love love this place! Their food is always delicious. Hot, flavorful and delicious is what you can expect. Yum!

Ragu R.

Yelp
Food had the perfect home made taste. The service was very friendly. The food was ready for pickup when promised

Mike A.

Yelp
A very unassuming name for an excellent Indian place. Reddit was blowing up with recommendations and they certainly hold up. The sauces are thick and the meats are tender, the spices are on point and the portion sizes are generous. The breads list has the more traditional name for the plain bread rather than calling it naan, but they now have buttered naan on the list as well. Food is extremely well packaged for delivery, though you'll need a dish to mix the sauce and rice in since neither container is big enough for the combo. Spice levels are pretty good, hot is a decent spice and not just from a bunch of cayenne, but lower spice levels are still extremely flavorful without being spicy hot.

Patricia W.

Yelp
My mother and I were both addicted to the Bindi Masala Curry (okra, with spices and rice). We ordered it regularly for many months and loved it every time, but okra must've gone off season and the last couple of times it was strawlike. Taking a break for now, but we are both still craving it. The spices were amazing: fenugreek, garam masala, and whatever else they put in. It was five stars when it was five stars. We come from the east side for it. It's worth a try. And I could become a vegetarian : that's how good it is. We certainly love the goat and lamb as well though. Their samosas are amazing also.

Wesley A.

Yelp
We enjoyed the food very much here. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is authentic. We will be visiting again soon...

Benjamin H.

Yelp
Is now my absolute go-to Indian spot in CLE. If you'll be upset about disposable place settings, get takeout!!! Safe, courteous and quick staff prepared freshly cooked deliciousness. Use caution with the extreme spice level! ;) can't wait to try everything The Pakora was light, fluffy and well seasoned. The naan had a crispness too it that I quite enjoyed. Vegetable Jalpharezi was as requested, too spicy to describe lol. Thanks Indian Delight, a delight it was.

Dndn J.

Yelp
absolutely fantastic i like the interior design very simple and classy very clean and the food oh my goooooood ( in janice voive ) so damn good i'm in love and the portion is very perfect i couldn't even finish so we're taking it home i recommend from the bottom of my heart

Yelp
I recently dined at Indian Delight Restaurant, The food at Indian Delight was good. I had the pleasure of savoring chicken biryani, chicken 65, rogan josh, and naan and we ordered many other dishes. Each dish was bursting with flavor, The spices were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients were fresh. this dining experience was even more memorable because of the exceptional service provided by Kusum, She suggested the dishes I ordered, and I am grateful for her recommendations Thanks to Kusum. Kusum's politeness and attentiveness stood out, From taking my order to ensuring I had everything I needed, she was there with a smile. Her friendly demeanor added a personal touch to my meal. I can confidently say that Kusum is the best employee I've ever encountered in any restaurant. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu based on Kusum's expert advice.

Yelp
Came here with some friends while staying in Cleveland over 4th of July weekend. Every restaurant was closed for the 4th and we got lucky by finding this place. We ordered spicy butter chicken, lamb Karahi, chana masala curry and the assorted naan. I think the Karahi was everyone's favorite. It was incredibly flavorful and full of spice but still delicate. All the meats were also tender and cooked well. The staff was also very kind and helpful. Overall we really enjoyed our meal here!

Evan H.

Yelp
Been coming here for years and really enjoy the food, but I feel like the portions keep getting smaller. Paid $16 plus tip for butter chicken, which only had 4 pieces of chicken...

Stephanie J.

Yelp
The website mentioned vegan options so I wanted to see what was available- I can't eat dairy and this is always cumbersome when I try to go out to eat. At Indian Delight, I felt super accommodated. I asked the host which options were vegan and she immediately took a menu and circled everything for me- SO helpful! I've included the photo for any others who may have a similar dietary restriction.

Evan F.

Yelp
Came here before a recent Monday night movie night down at the Capitol Theatre...the four of us shared a bunch of dishes. We ordered samosas, chicken biryani, chicken madras and a meatball-style dish. Everything was good, but nothing was great. Naan was pretty standard and the dipping sauces for the samosas were also decent. They are supposed to be known for their biryani dishes, but I found them to be uninspiring. My favorite dish was one our dinner-mates ordered...it was a meatball style meat in a rich orange-yellow gravy (I cannot find the name of it on the menu) and it was really outstanding. I could not get enough of the sauce! Will probably come back here, since it is very convenient to our new house...but there are plenty of other Indian spots around town I'd choose to go to.

Clare D.

Yelp
I ordered delivery from Indian Delight recently, and got the chana masala, garlic naan (without butter), and samosas. Firstly, the samosas are AMAZING- probably some of the best I have ever tried. Crispy and flaky, with a perfectly moist filling of potatoes/vegetables. The garlic naan was also delicious, and the restaurant was open to excluding the butter when I called to inform them that I am vegan. The chana masala was tasty, but extremely salty, so I would probably try a different entree next time.

Yelp
Indian Delight is located on a stretch of electric shops and restaurants along Detroit Avenue. It had been a long time since I had Indian cuisine, and was curious about its lunch buffet. Before going any further, note that this, along with the other businesses, have less than ample parking. Observe the rules for parking on the main and side streets before leaving your vehicle. This was smaller than most Indian restaurant I've been to. Also, the buffet was smallest of any Indian buffets I've had. Since most are already not as big, any smaller such as this one was a slight letdown. I would rate the food as somewhere between okay and good. I definitely cannot say it wasn't bad, but I've had better. The green bean dish was my favorite for this particular visit. The guy working talked a little loud on his phone. It was kind of bothersome trying to eat. He wasn't mean or rude, but didn't exactly know when to take a phone call somewhere else. This is just an A-OK place. Nothing was bad, just a little underwhelmed with the overall experience.

Sd K.

Yelp
Ordered a tray of Biryani to go and was pleasantly surprised how authentic the quality of food was. Being from Hyderabad originally and have lived in Cleveland for over 42 years and I have finally found a restaurant that prepares authentic Hyderabadi food the original way Unfortunately the manager or the cashier was extremely arrogant and absolutely unprofessional. He was eating food at the cash register with his hands and used the same hand to take my credit card to ring up the payment. Which I realized much later. Apart from the unclean waiter or cashier the management should not permit food to be eaten at the cash register The food was really excellent and Well prepared by the experienced chef Ali

Alexander H.

Yelp
It takes a pretty bad experience for me to leave a yelp review, but this was really disappointing as I had high hopes for this place. Ordered takeout for lunch today, and I was highly underwhelmed. Pani Puri was stale like it had been sitting all day. Really not acceptable for these not to be made to order. The sauce was also very watery and tasteless. Tandoori chicken was very bland and taste like it was microwaved (yuck). Chaat was OK, but very light on the toppings. Overall very mediocre to bad. I ended up throwing most of it out. Will not order again.

Ben S.

Yelp
It's been over 6 years since I first discovered this place and it remains my favorite Indian place in town. I recently got lunch delivered and thoroughly enjoyed it. My order was accurate, utensils were provided, and there happened to be a special for free dessert (rice pudding). My go to entree of Tikki Masla was great; this place is always consistent. I then always have to get the garlic naan to make sure I don't leave any Masal sauce behind. For lunch or dinner, I highly recommend Indian Delight.

Britt M.

Yelp
Ordered delivery from here a few nights ago and I would give it a 3.5. Both my husband and I got the chicken tikka misala (spiced medium). The medium spice was pretty perfect , spicy enough to make your nose run but not too spicy it's painful to eat. I didn't love the fact that there are huge pieces of chicken and vegetable in the dish. I also thought the sauce was good but not as tasty as some other Indian places I've tried. We also ordered the garlic naan which was extra tasty. Overall, a pretty ok experience.

Jackie M.

Yelp
My first time trying Indian Delight but won't be my last! I had a grub hub credit so I ordered a lot! The Lamb korma, vegetable malai kofta , chicken tikka masala, naan, roti and samosas. Everything was so good! The malai kofta is usually not my favorite, but I loved it! And my husband could not get enough of the sauce served with the samosas, he was putting it on everything. Even the rice was perfect. We may have found out new Indian food go-to.

Rachael Z.

Yelp
So much fun! The tandoori chicken was really good, and some of the best naan I've ever had. I did the buffet and the service was warm and attentive and food was great. I can't really to go back!

Olwen C.

Yelp
Finally gave the lunch buffet a try and was pleasantly surprised! It was really good. A little smaller than most Indian buffets, but still plenty to choose from and everything was very filling and tasty. I really liked the chicken tikka masala, even though I usually find this dish bland at other restaurants, it was some of the best I've had in a while. The buffet was $10. We found parking right outside the restaurant on the street.

Youraj B.

Yelp
The food here was...okay. It wasn't as great as I thought it would be. The chicken biryani was great! It was cooked well and it wasn't dry. The naan was great! It was soft and went great with butter chicken. The butter chicken however was pretty good but it could have had bit more buttery-ness. The chicken itself in the other hand wasn't so great. It barely had any flavor of a butter chicken. Though it was cooked well. I had also ordered a mango lassi-vegetable pakora- pani puri. The lassi was like a regular lassi. The pakoras were pretty good nice and crunchy and packed with flavor. The sauces however could have been a bit thicker rather watery. The pani puri was terrible. It was edible but it wasn't as special as I thought it would be. There was barely any stuffing in it and any flavor besides the pani. And the shell/puri wasn't so great either. It was ready made. Last but not least, the seevice wasn't so great. Idk if its cuz of lack of employee or whay but the service was terrible. There was no one to check on is for anything and had wait a few minutes or so just to get one thing.

Kumar W.

Yelp
The serving size is atrocious. You get one container of entree which comes with a portion of rice (even smaller than entree) big scam

Roxanne V.

Yelp
Exactly what the name is "Indian Delight." This place is a hidden gem! From the outside it doesn't look like much but it's very clean and modern inside. If you're looking for authentic Indian food stop looking now! This is where you need to go. The service was great and food even greater. Nothing from here disappoints. We also took home a couple orders of the Kheer and it was delicious most definitely won't be my last time coming here

Kate P.

Yelp
Food is fantastic! If you ever are looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Cleveland, this is the place to go. On my last visit I ordered the Salmon Curry and Rogan Josh, both spicy and Garlic Naan (always). Absolutely perfect! The hospitality of the staff was awesome! My kid is also now hooked on the food! There definitely will be many more visits to come!

Alberta R.

Yelp
I haven't had Indian food in about 4 years, and I couldn't be happier I picked this restaurant for our dinner last night! My husband is not into spicy hot food so I ordered a butter chicken curry for him, and he loved it! And I ordered a vindaloo for myself, it was so tasty!! However I wasn't sure if the Currys came with rice already so I ordered biryani rice which I preferred to go with my food, it was just delicious and full of flavor! Wasn't a fan of samosa chaat, next time will be ordering full samosas! Overall everything was great! No real complaints! We will definitely be ordering again!

Henry N.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant after a 3 year hiatus and found it to be under new owners. The menu is the same but the food is so much better than before!!!! The garlic naan is crispy, buttery and air light. I had the samosa chat which was very spicy and flavorful. I ordered the chicken jalfrezi as my main course. The dish was so flavorful with large chunks of tender chicken and vegetables. The service was fast and friendly. I am happily surprised by the change in quality of the food. Prices are a little higher (by $2 a dish) compared to the old prices, but I think it is worth it in general. I will be coming back for the lunch buffet-just not on a Tuesday when the lunch buffet is closed.

Stephanie N.

Yelp
I've seen this place a bunch of times have never gone in. Today was the day I loved the buffet it was delicious and hot and plentiful. The buffet for lunch was 10.00 well worth it. Would certainly try dinner here. For sure will go back for lunch buffet.

Scott M.

Yelp
I ordered on line and my food took a full 40 minutes after the time I was told it would be ready. When I showed up, 4 other customers were also waiting for their long overdue orders. I will not be ordering from them again.

Indearah P.

Yelp
Taste just like homemade like my aji made it , Good place to eat at I totally recommend

Lauren K.

Yelp
I love Indian food and trying the various Indian spots around Cleveland. We had an A-OK experience here. We ordered several different dishes to get a feel for the food. The chicken tikka masala had HUGE pieces of tender white chicken, which was shocking, because at other spots you often get tons of the sauce with very little protein. The vegetable jalpharezi felt like the vegetables weren't super fresh (canned maybe?) and didn't quite hit the spot. We enjoyed the samosas, and overall, they have a pretty extensive menu. Of everything we ordered, I don't have anything too memorable to say. None of the dishes seriously stood out to me. Perhaps we just didn't order the right things, but most of the flavors blended together. I would love to try new things off their menu in search of finding their perfect dishes.

Danielle S.

Yelp
Love this place! Great portion sizes, especially for the price. Their lunch menu is my go-to! Great vegetarian options too. Will order many more times!

Vita G.

Yelp
Top notch food and the take out service was super easy. I wish it was closer to my location but the tikka is worth the drive

Nabila S.

Yelp
Amazing Indian food! I got the chicken biryani and paneer korma. The chicken biryani was flavorful and the chicken was tender. The paneer in the korma was also really soft (rare for Indian restaurants in Cleveland). I also got a free samosa appetizer because of a promo on door dash and no exaggeration but these were the best samosas I've eaten in 14 years of living in Cleveland. If you're from India, the food seems to be quite authentic and up to the mark. The only area of improvement I can suggest is that the raita was runny and there was no salad/onions provided with the biryani (which should be a standard accompaniment with biryani). Hope the owners take note!

Tara T.

Yelp
This is the best Indian food in the CLE. The butter chicken and the aloo paratha are two of our favorites, but honestly, everything we've tried has been amazing. In their takeout business, they are very organized and fastidious when it comes to cleanliness and safety, which of we of course appreciate. Oh, and did I mention they make the best Indian food in Cleveland?

Will V.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Coming from New York City I was worried there wouldn't be any good options in Cleveland as far as Indian food was concerned. Happy to say those fears have been alleviated. This place serves incredibly flavorful food. We got the palak paneer and chicken tiki masala and both were just on point. The garlic naan and samosa's were great too. My new favorite Indian restaurant, surpassing my old favorite from Hoboken. Will be back for sure!

Blake K.

Yelp
I love this place!! Great lunch buffet before covid and now the carry out is fantastic!! Butter chicken is on another level!!

Theresa W.

Yelp
We have been eating at/ordering from Indian Delight for years. Our favorites are the malai kofta and the lunch box specials. They are also the only Indian restaurant in the area with samosa chaat on the menu!

Ryan B.

Yelp
I've been wanting to go here for years and finally made it! Indian Delight did not disappoint. The interior decor was surprisingly more sparse than I'd assumed it would be, but what they lack in presentation they make up for in flavor! The style of cuisine was different than other Indian food I've had but it was wonderful and different enough to be fresh and new. The sonic red chicken tikka masala was the standout hit, full of bright and complex soothing flavor, the sauce was one of the best I've tasted. The Vindaloo and Karihi(sp?) were also on point, with the later being a hearty, savory and zesty option that was perfect for fall. We went medium spicey all the way around and it was a perfect flavorful kick without burning too much. The mulligatawny soup was one of my favorites, a wild blend of curry and spices that was tasty and fun to eat! And the naan was about the most proper serving of naan I've had, big crispy, flakey, and perfectly soft and chewy halves that rounded out the meal perfectly. We also enjoyed the veggie samosas and chutneys as an appetizer. My lone complaint. I wasn't terribly impressed with the quality of the chicken, I couldn't tell if it was a bit overdone or just not a great grade. But I ate it and enjoyed it nonetheless. The service was warm, friendly and welcoming, and sauces were the standout hit. I'll definitely hit up Indian Delight again on my next trip to CLE.

Vidya R.

Yelp
Been here twice and loved it both times . I am a vegetarian and had the buffet the first time . The food was super tasty and the gulab jamun tasted as if made of Khoa . The only drawback was that there were no paneer dishes in the buffet . I went there again today and ordered the paneer pakora , malai kofta , garlic naan and onion kulcha and everything was flavourful. I asked our server to make malai kofta spicy and it was on point . The naan and kulcha were crunchy as the same time so light , the best I have had in a while . Our server was very helpful and I ended up thanking the cook for the food . This is by far one of the more authentic Indian restaurants in Cleveland.

Francesca M.

Yelp
So in love with the Chili and Butter chicken. The garlic naan is also incredible. This place is delicious, has awesome service. I look forward to ordering every week

Dan R.

Yelp
Ordered the butter chicken and the garlic naan, because of all the reviews saying everything was too hot I didn't go with the extreme which I should have, and I got the hot. To me it tasted like mild spice but I like very spicy food so I get it,but the flavor of the butter chicken and garlic naan was fantastic. Huge chicken pieces and very well spiced. Can't remove a star for my own mistake. Extreme heat happening next week.

Maggie M.

Yelp
Always always always tasty and hot! The garlic naan is lovely and I love getting the paneer with any type of red sauce. This business has been through a lot in the last couple years with road construction, and now Covid. I'm glad to see that they are still in business and are remodeling! So happy with this local Indian spot!
