Indian Tasty Halal Food

The prices on goggle are outdated, everything on there is $11, which is the same as every other cart and even the famous ones like the halal guys and adel. If I were you, I would go there. If you are sick of one place and want to try something else, only then it is worth. Still not the same rate for sauces and rice.

You'll certainly receive a wonderful chicken meal whether you use the sauce or not, and it'll more than enough for your regular meals while eating on the go. Excellent customer service and delicious fresh chicken over rice!

Was mid at best, the rice is flavorless, boss man working gave a little cumm drizzle of hot sauce, more rice than there is meat, and charges 3 dollars a can of soda, portion sizes also couldn’t feed an anorexic.

Tried the place out because it has good reviews. Portions were small, not enough meat, the food was mid at best. Won't be having again. Expensive for small portion.

Delicious. Chicken/lamb platter was seasoned well and perfectly diced. Rice was light and fluffy. No grease at the bottom of the container. White sauce was very flavorful and the red sauce wasn't "burn your mouth off" hot. The guy that runs the cart is a gem. Cash only.

8 dollars and it was so delicious. The guy was super nice too and gave me extra. I’ll have to find time to come back

This gentlemen deserves all the 5 star reviews he’s gotten! I ordered the chicken over rice as the reviews had recommended and my gracious, it did NOT disappoint! The owner was an absolute gentlemen and I am so glad I gave this place a shot. Don’t think about it, just do it. You will not regret it!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE their food. I have been eating chicken over rice here for four years now and literally no other halal cart compares. The quantity is so much that I need to split it into two meals and the taste and smell is just heavenly. Service is always amazing and everyone is super friendly. The biggest convenience is that they're right in front of JP Morgan Chase so whenever I'm out of cash I know I don't have to worry about finding an ATM cause it's right there. Will 10000000% recommend this place!

THE BEST HALAL I have had in nyc so far. we got the combo over rice and had to immediately come back for seconds because it was so good. the rice, the flavors, the tenderness of the meat... truly my favorite meal of this trip. Ali was the sweetest. I would come back to nyc just for this food cart. also this was eaten while fully sober, so just think how good this would be as late night drunk food. mind blowing, i can only imagine

If you're ok with getting food from a cart (and you absolutely should be)...run to this cart. Not only is the food delicious and the cart immaculate, Firoz, the owner is about as nice as it gets. And in a time where the pandemic has made support of small businesses a priority, choose wisely and choose often. And choose this midtown cart!

Super good! Was delicious! Just visiting NYC but needed a quick bite and this was perfectly placed on our path! It was all filling and reasonably priced!

So so tasty. I would eat the falafel gyro every week if I could. I've made a special trip here in the past and look forward to my next meal here

Great service, quick and tasty food! Had the chicken gyro, hot dogs and chicken teriaki over rice. All tasted amazing

BEWARE, THIS OWNER IS A CROOK!!! Notice his cart doesn't have any prices, just pictures. He charged me $15 for a lamb gyro. Best ask how much before you order. I am visiting NYC , and don't really know prices but a gyro should not be more than $10. Would definitely pay him a visit tomorrow and ask him why he ripped me off.

I have been getting Lamb Kati Rolls minus cilantro from this cart for over a year. The husband cooks your order and the wife collects money from the customers. They always have a smile on their faces and seemed like very happy couple. I met up with my friend for lunch and suggested Tasty because 2 kati rolls are only 6 bucks. Definitely a cheap lunch lol

We stopped here to try Chicken Biryani and we were not disappointed. We ended up stopping by to grab food every day of our trip while in New York. I also had the chance to try the Falafel with rice and it was delcious as well. The service was friendly and the prices are as reasonable as one can get in NY. Can't wait to visit this cart again during our next trip to the city.

Very sweet man selling wonderful food. Hit the spot! We had the biryani-- it was delicious and full of flavor.
