WOW! What a rush! I rode Indiana Jones Adventure twice last week and it was even better the second time around. This ride is an absolute masterpiece, bringing the thrill and excitement of the movies to life in a way I never thought possible. The attention to detail is incredible. From the moment you step into the queue, you're transported deep into the world of Indiana Jones. The pre-show sets the perfect tone, and once you're in the "jeep," the adventure begins! The ride perfectly captures the spirit of the films, with heart-pounding chases, close calls with giant snakes (just like Mr. Jones hates!), and the race to find the legendary relic. The special effects are top-notch and the ride system is so clever—it truly feels like you're on a wild, unpredictable journey. I loved how the ride is different every time, making each experience unique. I can't wait to go back and try it again. If you're a fan of Indiana Jones or just love a good thrill ride, this is an absolute must-do at Disneyland!

Google
has cool visuals. the wait is absolutely crazy though— i suggest going to this ride first thing in the morning or right before closing. also breaks down frequently. loved the boulder part. gets pretty cold once youre inside the temple waiting area

This ride is so much fun! It’s like you’re going off-roading at the desert. It’s very bumpy so if you have serious back or neck pain, this is not the ride for you! I love the decor, makes you feel you’re in the actual movies…the lines can be long, even on weekdays. Such a fun ride! Will definitely come here again on another Disney trip.

Margaret Fournier

Google
The wait time is a bit long though definitely worth it. It is very insulated that you can't tell the intensity of the ride right until you actually get on it. It is very bumpy and very real like the actual movies so take precautions going on this ride though it is a must for this park.

Indiana Jones™ Adventure at Disneyland is an absolute must-ride for thrill-seekers and fans of the Indiana Jones movies! 🎢✨ From the moment you step into the queue, you’re transported into the mysterious world of Indiana Jones with detailed props, dim lighting, and ambient sounds that make you feel like you’re on an actual archaeological expedition. The theming is incredible — Disney’s attention to detail is next level. The ride itself is exciting and intense without being too scary. The jeep-style ride vehicle moves dynamically, taking you through sharp turns, sudden drops, and unexpected obstacles. The animatronics are top-notch, and the giant rolling boulder scene at the end is legendary! Wait times can be long, but the single rider line helps cut down the wait. Definitely worth the hype — it’s one of the best rides at Disneyland! 🏺🌍🚙🔥

Google
Indiana Jones is a great ride and can be a bit intense for younger riders. But I think the actual queue itself is really noticeable in detail and has some great story telling aspects. The ride can feel slow but there are some good parts as well.

Google
This ride literally made you feel like you were inside of the movie in the big boulder chasing you at the end was absolutely insane and a little scary. Definitely a fun and thrilling ride.

Yelp
Bud was looking forward to this ride because when they came 5 months ago he was not tall enough to ride. All 6 of us went on the ride. The Disney app informs you of waiting time for the rides and the Lightning Pass allows you return at a specific window of time to go in the faster entrance line. Be prepared for bumps and jerks during the ride. Not scary or too rough.
google avatar

Yelp
It's fun and adventure, but done in such a way that my son who is afraid of traditional coasters and such will still ride. They use thrill and suspense to keep things moving, something Disney rides really excel at in comparison to other theme parks. Worth the line, if you haven't then you really should! :)

Yelp
Okay I absolutely love this ride but it beats me the F up every time I ride it. Ladies, if you have a decadent décolletage, hold them thangs because you about to get rocked on this ride. I almost died. You've been warned. Now safety aside, my goodness this ride is so fun! It jerks and shakes edging on violently so if you can't handle that and/or don't think that sounds enjoyable, this ain't the ride for you. How is the max speed 14 mph but it feels like 140!? I actually read the physical effects are designed to make you feel like you are going much faster - minds are wild! This is such a fun thrill ride but I also feel like it breaks a bit more than others. I've been trapped inside the queue several times because the ride broke! Now the queues are cool and very Indiana Jones-ish-but I ain't trying to be trapped in a cave at Disneyland. Like, I bought my fancy skip the line Genie pass but still ended up waiting 30 minutes in those creepy cave queues trapped with no way out. Nu uh y'all! AND~ they stopped rotating the room, iykyk. Me thinks it's time for a technology update on this, Disney! This is a pretty cool ride though because it's fairly unique to Anaheim's Disneyland with it not having a version in Orlando. The only other Disney Park with an Indiana Jones Adventure ride is Tokyo DisneySea.. Overall though, even with my tech complaints, I freaking laugh the entire time I ride this every single time. I enjoy it thoroughly and for that - 5 stars! It's 3 and a half minutes of pure joy every time I ride.

Yelp
This ride is definitely a classic that's worth the wait, you'll agree if you've seen the films! It's my 8 year old's favorite! We did Rider Switch, since our 9 month old wasn't eligible to ride, so my eldest got to ride twice! We had fun on this fast paced ride and managed to survive looking at the eye! My eldest loved pulling and touching everything that warned you not too and managed not to get hit with any booby traps! I would recommend this thrilling adventure located in Adventure Land in Disneyland! The themed shop near the restrooms were hard to resist taking something home! Just might have to next time he he! I forgot to ask for one of the decoders from one of the cast members to read the walls, so we have to revisit! We managed to ride on Friday just in time before it closed for refurbishment, the ride re-opens next month on April 24th! SYOY! :D *Cool fact: the Patrol Truck located outside the ride was actually used in movie Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark!

Yelp
4 stars only since it isn't my favorite ride at Disneyland, otherwise... I would say that the ride is worth getting on! It isn't too rollercoaster-y but just enough to get the thrills on. I love the visual aspects of it. If you ride the rides enough times, you'll see the different colors of the snake's eyes and listen to the different endings Indiana Jones says! a lot . The wait times for this ride are always pretty long, but it fluctuates a lot since it is always breaking down, but they usually get it up and running pretty fast!

Yelp
This has always been one of my favorite rides at Disneyland. Mostly because Indiana Jones is my all-time favorite movie character. But since its opening 30 years ago, people still wait in a long line to ride it. The ride itself is a lot of fun. You board a military troop transport and ride through a series of caves and tunnels that are inspired by the Indiana Jones film series. Indiana Jones Adventure is located in Disneyland's Adventureland next to Jungle Cruise and the Treehouse. Guests enter the ride through the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Indy's sidekick Sallah from the movies greets you and gives you instructions. Then an Audio-Animatronic Indiana Jones guides you along as you ride the vehicle on a dark and bumpy path through the Temple. If you are one that struggles with motion sickness, this may not be the ride for you. On the ride itself, you encounter lava, snakes, skulls and a giant idol. Basically most of the things that you see in an Indy movie is present on this ride. The best part is when the massive boulder comes rolling at you like it did in the Raiders of the Lost Ark movie. Indiana Jones Adventure is still a blast after all these years. It is still one of the rides that has a long wait time at Disneyland. It also breaks down periodically throughout the day. Across from Indiana Jones Adventure is a gift shop that has gifts and merchandise inspired by the Indiana Jones movies.

Yelp
Okay. 5 Stars, but this really, really bothers me. I'm told at the beginning, "Do not look into the eyes of Mara." Great. Seems easy enough. I need to find her first. Load into the car with a bunch of noisy strangers. Yet I really want to concentrate at this point and locate Mara. I need to find her before she sees me. We round the first corner and doors open up. There she is!!!! Massive! Much larger than I thought. Chubby cheeks - I'm sure she could stand to lose a few pounds, though I only see her face. And she appears to be asleep. At least she doesn't snore - she'd rattle and destroy the cavern system. I close my eyes. This should be good. And then I hear her, or him (maybe it's an unseen male narrator or maybe she has a deep voice from years of chain smoking), declaring I've LOOKED IN THE EYES OF MARA!!! This is patently FALSE!! The other fools in the car might have, but I did not!!! I expected to be let out to explore the caverns calmly on my own. But NOOOOOOO. I get dragged along with the screaming plebeians on this crazy tour. Yes - I survived. But I'm not happy about any of this.

Yelp
So much fun! The details on this ride are awesome. Even waiting in line makes you feel like you're on an adventure. Wait times can get pretty long but it's totally worth it. The actual ride is filled with lots of turns. It can get pretty bumpy but not enough to cause motion sickness in my opinion. I'm usually pretty sensitive to that but I have never had an issue.

Yelp
We've been to Disneyland for many years. If planned correctly, in certain years we would splurge and purchase season passes. Indiana Jones Adventure is one of our favorites. The lines are always long. Sometimes, we would come during the school seasons for a less crowded day. On hot days or we've run out of spunk, we like to go on this ride multiple times to sit down and enjoy the bumpy ride!! I believe you have to be at least 46 inches tall! It's for all ages as long as you pass that height requirement!! I suggest you put all your valuables in your pocket or small backpack!! If you drop something, it'll be super hard to get it back!!! We love entering the "cursed" temple in search of Indiana Jones!!!

Yelp
When this ride first arrived I was blown away at how fantastic it was. It still holds up well. Anyone experiencing this for the first time will be impressed. Excellent design and brilliant execution. I recall being with my son and we loved it so much we lapped it over 10 times up to closing. Great memories.

Yelp
Indiana Jones was the first ride me and my boyfriend went on when we visited Disneyland a couple weeks back -- this is my FAVORITE ride at Disney !!! This is the one ride I need to go on no matter what -- anytime I'm at Disneyland. The wait times are usually so long but I promise it's always worth it! The details in this ride are insane -- from the writing on the walls and the ride itself. This is a Disneyland classic :') I hope it never changes.

Yelp
One of my favorite rides in the park. I love the Indiana Jones movies and this ride is so well themed and thrilling at the same time. But beware it is notorious for breaking down so the wait times can fluctuate due to that. It is a popular ride and for a reason it really is so much fun. I'd highly recommend riding this one if you're coming to the park.
google avatar

Leilani M.

Yelp
Indiana is always a favorite of ours. The adventurous journey of rough turns dips and jerks inside the jeep are felt more in the back row. Of the many times I've ridden this ride I don't think I've ever sat in the back. It's rough! If you like the over exaggerated and enhanced experience I would recommend this row. If you want a smoother ride get into the other rows. Elevators for accessible riders. Fast pass and standby line available. I forgot to ask if they offer single rider. Right next to jungle cruise and a hop skip and a jump over to pirates of the Caribbean
google avatar

Yelp
Indiana Jones Adventure is one of my favorites rides here in Disneyland. We make sure to ride at least once every time we visit. It's fun to ride and see all the realistic movie scenes and the snakes, who hates snakes, lol. Favorite part is avoiding the giant boulder. Fun for all ages and adventurers.
google avatar

Yelp
Indie is for everyone, but I feel like it's especially for guys. It's always Star Wars and Indiana Jones that I see guys nerd out about. I remember when this ride first opened and there were so many cool features, but now they don't work anymore. It's still an epic ride, especially if you love the films. The queue is pretty cool too. If you just got in a car accident or had some surgery (you'd be surprised how many people still show up to the park injured) I would suggest you skip this ride. It' a wild car ride with lots of quick turns and bumpy road. Otherwise, it's a really cool ride!
google avatar

Britney M.

Yelp
Indiana Jones is still one of my favorite rides at Disneyland. I just wish that the wait wasn't so long. It's always crazy long for this one. I get it, it's a great ride. But dang waiting 2 hours is so long. I went on this again recently and only had to wait 65 minutes. Yay! How sad is that? Excited for a 65 minute wait lol This ride rocks though! It's lots of fun. It feels like being in an action movie. I wish they made the ride longer. It goes by so fast.
google avatar

Yelp
This ride is so much fun! It's like you're going off-roading at the desert. It's very bumpy so if you have serious back or neck pain, this is not the ride for you! I love the decor, makes you feel you're in the actual movies...the lines can be long, even on weekdays. Such a fun ride! Will definitely come here again on another Disney trip.

Yelp
Since opening in the 90s, this has been a favorite attraction of mine. Both the actual ride portion and the ride queue as you are fully immersed into the realm of the Indiana Jones franchise. In spring 2023, the attraction reopened from refurbishment with new digital graphics that are reminiscent of Crystal Skull. Definitely adds some extra elements to the attraction as the snake works again, so watch out so it doesn't get you! Wait times can be a little higher for this attraction, but is available for a lightening lane if you purchased Genie+ for your Disney day. Additionally, this ride is notorious for being temporarily unavailable so please secure your items and don't be part of the problem of it going down! Lastly, on the right hand side there is a tree where you can actually spot the little man of Disneyland! Be sure to say hi to Patrick and tell him I sent you.
google avatar

Keko O.

Yelp
Highly recommend this ride to visit when you go to Disneyland! So first off, the wait lines could be quite a while- like almost 50-60 minutes and it could be a bit crowded while waiting outside. Once you make it to the inside you also need to wait a little, but is it worth it? YES. The ride explains itself forsure. Feels like you are in the actual Indiana Jones films, and the jeep you are riding goes super fast. Not fast like it'll make you nauseous, just fast enough to get your imagination running as if you're on the run with Indiana Jones himself! Looots of stimulation the minute you enter the ride.. thanks!!!:D
google avatar

Chelle S.

Yelp
Meh. It wasn't my favorite. It's loud and it shakes a lot. I felt slightly nauseous afterwards. Also, my kids were terrified. Surprisingly, the entire group gave it a thumbs down.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
This attraction has consistently been a blast since it's debut in 1996. I will say, the video while you're waiting in line is repetitive and at this point rather outdated and dull, but the ride still provides thrills at every turn. I like the recent updates they did when it was closed for refurbishment. They kind of brought it back to life a little. Still one of the best rides in the park even though it's nearing 30 years old!
google avatar

Sarah R.

Yelp
One of the best attractions at Disneyland since 1995! The sights, sounds, crazy jerking around, and smell mmmmm - it's nostalgic and always a good time. The ride does break down a lot and the line can get long but that's the price you pay for a Harrison Ford adventure. And the queue is fun and interactive so it's like you're entering the Indy world right away. They recently did some upgrades and added some screen moments that sort of don't "match" the ride / look off but it's all good. Sort of just makes us laugh at the silliness of it. If you have a bad back or something I would skip it tho because the jerk is real. I know some guests have mixed feelings about Lightning Lane but we love it & get it every visit but for Indy it's only worth it if the line is super long because after the spot where the queue combines all riders there is still a good amount of line left to wait in. Love you Indyyyyy - ride ya soon.
google avatar

Erika D.

Yelp
This is one of the funnest (and longest lines) at Disneyland. If you have Genie+ use your lightning pass for this ride. If not, I say it is still worth the line time.
google avatar

Angel R.

Yelp
It's incredible from start to finish. The queue immediately immerses you to feel like you're heading into some ancient archeological site. The ride is super thrilling. It jostles you about in the best way possible and the Indy animatronic is so cool to see. The big finale boulder. Wow. Chef's kiss! Haha.
google avatar

Yelp
Whether you're a fan of Indiana Jones or simply seeking an epic adventure, Indiana Jones Adventure is a must-do experience at Disneyland. This ride takes you on a heart-stopping journey through ancient temples and traps, following in the footsteps of the legendary archaeologist himself, Indiana Jones. In this ride you will go through a meticulously themed temple filled with artifacts, ancient maps, and clues. It'll transport you to the world of Indiana Jones, building anticipation for the thrilling journey ahead. You'll race through booby-trapped corridors, encounter menacing creatures, and witness daring escapes as you help Indy recover the lost Sankara Stones.
google avatar

Yelp
4 stars This is one of my favorite rides and is very much loved by many. I'm glad they refurbished it recently. Everything looks much brighter. With that said, the ride still broke down while I was in line. The wait time that day was a 40 minute ETA, but with the breakdown, I stayed an additional 50 minutes-ish?? I was close enough to the vehicles where I had false hope that it would miraculously fix itself in a timely manner...but alas, it didn't work out as I had hoped. Everyone who stayed in line got a Lightening Lane pass, but not after having witnessed some guy yell at a Cast Member. I feel bad for both because Disneyland is expensive for tourists and time is money. The CM obviously isn't at fault and, personal opinion, they don't get paid well enough to take crap from anyone. This could have been avoided if Disney's policy allowed CMs more say in when to issue Lightening Lane passes. I think a 30 minute wait after breakdown is a reasonable timeframe to start offering fastpasses. Idk what the policy is, but no one should be standing in line for 50+ minutes waiting for a ride to be fixed. Finally, this attraction is so popular that people will just keep flocking to it. Good news for Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Haunted Mansion b/c their wait times are a lot shorter now. Last few times I went, my wait time averaged 15 minutes max for Pirates, barely 8 minutes for Haunted Mansion...maybe 20 minutes for Jungle Cruise, but likely shorter wait time. Anyways, 100% recommend Indiana Jones even with the breakdowns. I hope they keep this ride forever.

Yelp
Absolutely love this ride! It can get pretty fast and super bumpy but nothing too crazy or motion sickness inducing! My bf and I love grabbing food by the hidden hideaway before hopping in line. This is by far the best and most beautiful queue! We recently visited after it got some kind of renovation and we noticed some new digital effects happening in one part of the ride that we didn't notice before. Overall the ride is still the same and super fun! Always a must ride at least once per visit. IG: @ammysalamii

Yelp
Opening March 4th 1995 at Disneyland this ride is sure to give you a thrill as you travel through the temple of the forbidden eye. The ride was such a success 3 years later Disney world opens a similar ride called Dinosaur. Indiana Jones is still way better.

Yelp
One of the classic thrill rides that's a MUST when visiting Disneyland! Over the years, I have always enjoyed going on the Indiana Jones ride. From the immersion of feeling like you're in the movies during the queue, all the way to boarding the jeep and jostling around, it's definitely an adventure. I remember being terrified when I was a kid. Even though I was too scared to keep my eyes open, I still enjoyed the thrill of this ride. As an adult, I now have fun keeping my eyes open the entire time. Here's the story of how my boyfriend and I got to ride it THREE TIMES IN A ROW...without having to get back in line. It was a Thursday night during the Halloween season when we went on the Indiana Jones ride. We went during our Genie Plus time slot...only to find that the ride was down for maintenance. No problem, we went to go get dinner. When we came back later, we were able to redeem our Genie Plus for the fast lane. Everything went smoothly...until we got to the climax when the iconic boulder was just about to steamroll us while Indy dangled on a vine in front of us for dear life. Then, the boulder STOPPED. Music stopped. Lights slowly came on, and the boulder rolled backwards. Back to the lit storage area where it was kind of fascinating to get a glimpse of the room it originated from, and the mechanics responsible for the magic of the boulder. We sat there for about an awkward 15-ish minutes while the ride operators inspected our car and did some troubleshooting. In the meantime, watching the Indy animatronic dangling in front of us above our heads was really fascinating. He looked so life-like, like the real Harrison Ford, gripping to the rope for dear life and blinking. Soon enough, the car jerked into a dive, and we headed back to the queue area, where we were offered to go a second time as an apology for the malfunctioning experience. We all eagerly agreed, and off we went for round two...only to get stuck at the exact same spot. Same car, same people, same thing with the boulder coming to crush us, but then backtracking as if going, "Oopsie daisies, never mind." It was definitely our car. It must have been so cursed, even the boulder didn't want to roll over it. After some more troubleshooting, and then sending our jeep on our way back to the queue, we were instructed to step out as they sent along the trouble-making jeep for inspection. We were all then offered a third time around. "No, no thank you! I've had quite enough!" proclaimed one woman from my jeep, hurrying off after having had enough of Indy's shenanigans. My boyfriend erred towards us leaving too because we wanted to get a snack before the fireworks...until I insisted on going a third time and hopped into the front row of our newly assigned jeep. This time, our entire group cheered in jubilation when we got to the climax and the boulder rolled over us. The iconic Indiana Jones theme song was our very celebratory soundtrack. Third time's the charm! And that is the story of how we got to ride the Indiana Jones ride three times in a row. I've been on this ride many, many times, but this will likely be the most memorable one! Or should I say three?

William H.

Yelp
10/10 best ride of all time. Nothing better top of the top, you can't find anything better than Indiana Jones temple of the forrbiden eye.
google avatar

Amber P.

Yelp
Aside from this ride always breaking down multiple times a day it's a classic. They've updated some things and it's a must especially if you've never been to Disneyland. It's only rough if the ride stops and you're stuck inside it gets stuffy and hot in there and it can be uncomfortable.
google avatar

Alissa M.

Yelp
Possibly my favorite ride in Disneyland...definitely my favorite thrill ride. From start to finish this ride is an adventure and the details are so incredible you literally feel like you're walking through the jungle while you're in line. Then you hop on a jeep and careen through the temple where you encounter skeletons, fire, snakes and a escape a giant rolling boulder...it's a thrill from start to finish and not for the faint of heart!

Yelp
Here's a tip when you first get in line ask your Cast members that are in charge of this ride for your decoding card. Try to decode the ride Just like Indiana Jones for free . This is a really good ride. You have to hook your bags up because they can totally fly off. I was lucky to drive our car so of course I acted it out. Don't be a buzz kill and just sit there. If you get the driver seat it's your job to convince the rest of the riders you're driving ! That's why I don't have any pictures of this ride . #5StarsIndianaJones

Yelp
Indiana Jones and the Temple of the forbidden eye has become my new all time favorite ride at Disneyland. I had set it up for lightning lane when I first entered the park but when we got there the attraction was down for maintenance. I was told to check my Disneyland app and whenever it was operable then I could return and they would honor my lightning lane. I was finally able to board it that way after lunch. As you make your way through the empty parts of the temple you'll see things that remind you of the Indiana Jones movies of the past. My favorite was not to walk on the diamond steps-Can't avoid that one. Your then will enter a large vehicle that seats 4 across with 3 rows. It resembles an overgrown jalopy as you hurl off up the hill toward Mara the idol that changes as your draw nearer. Then it is a matter of bumps and twists and you race through various rooms featuring mummys, mud slides and of course my favorite the snake room! Throughout the ride you either see Indiana jones talking to you or hear his voice like "snakes! You're on your own!" It gets dark in a lot of places until you see Indy hanging from a rope warning you of the danger ahead. You even hear the voice of his colleage Sala now and then. The climax comes as the huge boulder hurls towards you and just as it is about to hit you the track nose dives below it for a wild descent with more twist and turns till at last you see Indy telling you that you are on your own next time. Since this is a ride where you can lose everything we were in the exit area putting our things back on when a cast member asked us and another couple if we'd like to ride again! Well why not! We jumped back in for a 2nd daredeviled escapade. I was thrilled beyond belieft!! I can see why this ride is so popular and has become my favorite as well. The Hollywood studios counterpart:-While Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom may operate similar the Hollywood studio still offers the "Indiana Jones stunt spectacular" which is a great stunt show with audience participation bringing you back to the thrill of the way they handled some of the scenes in Raiders of the Lost Ark. For this reason I think is why this type of ride may never appear in Walt Disney World. Both are excellent choices and for a fan of the Indiana Jones series you get more than you bargained for. Located in Adventureland in Disneyland.

Yelp
**August 2023: Weekday Evening** I watched the Dial of Destiny earlier this year and wanted to see if there were any changes to this ride. My friends and I came after the fireworks (around 10 pm -ish) and waited about 35 minutes in their standby line. It's been a while since I last went on this ride (maybe 5 years ago?) and the car ride felt slight smoother and I did notice a couple of new projections. The boulder unfortunately, got stuck on my visit, but I still enjoyed the ride inside the temple. Disney does great storytelling and if you're up for an adventure this one does not disappoint!

Yelp
This attraction is also known as Indiana Jones Adventure and The Temple of the Broken Down Ride.
google avatar

Jennifer O.

Yelp
What happened to the boulder rolling at you when Indiana Jones just escapes the temple with the gold statue? It's a fun ride but the big big finale being lightly "suggested" and not in your face scary was disappointing. Especially when waiting at least 45 minutes in line and trekking up multiple sets of stairs and then waiting to board. Rocking, jostling, changing direction and rolling, this ride combines a rollercoaster with a thrill ride. There are other, better rides at DisneyLand than this now watered down attraction.

Yelp
I loved this ride! It was the absolute best and I screamed the whole time. I was looking for a good thrill ride and this was it! Also I do love Indiana Jones and anything to do with archaeology so I always love stuff like this. But really this was one of my favorite rides for both days we were here.

Yelp
It's quite the fun adventure, but Mara's not worth their claim of being all powerful if they keep refusing my challenge to a staring contest. Mara really needs to accept the fact that me being autistic does not count as having an unfair advantage. It's not like I'm asking for anything, it's strictly for funsies! Take the challenge, Mara! What are you? Chicken?!

Yelp
Indiana Jones Adventure is located in Adventureland within Disneyland. This ride is unique to Disneyland. Disney World has the Dinosaur ride that has similar mechanics to Indiana Jones Adventure in Animal Kingdom. The wait line queue is pretty cool. Right now, no fast passes, or Disney Genie, is available. My daughter and I typically ride this ride several times during our visit at Disneyland. The queue walks you through the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. You'll pass intricate booby traps and inspect carvings within the temple. There are a variety of designed treasures you'll see throughout the journey. Indiana Jones is considered neither a roller coaster or a slow-speed attraction like the little mermaid. It's a 12-person vehicle. It's a fast paced thrill ride that takes you through an adventure in the Chamber of Destiny. You'll see dangers like "molten lava", mummies, giant insects and much more! Towards the end, their is a massive rolling boulder you'll see. If you have neck issues, it does move you from side-to-side quick and I'd highly recommend avoiding this ride. Height requirement is 46'' to ride this ride. If you're visiting Disneyland for the first time, you have to try this ride out! It's super fun!

Yelp
Did you know there is a Indiana Jones 5 movie in the works for a Summer 2022 release? How cool! Anyway, this ride in Adventureland Disneyland. The minimum height requirement is 46 inches. It's been around since 1995. I rode this several times this past June. The ride queue snakes you through the dimly lit Temple of the Forbidden Eye. The temple is decorated with booby traps and ancient petroglyphs mostly of the deity, Mara, that protects the temple and its treasures. You'll see a newsreel narrated by Sallah, the Egyptian friend of Dr Henry "Indiana" Jones, explaining the excavation of the temple and providing tours to finance it. But beware, will you survive. You'll hop into a military open top transport. Buckle in because you are definitely in for an extremely bumpy ride that shifts to different speeds and gears. The hydraulics on this ride is amazing. The tires might lift right or left as if you were driving over tough terrain. Definitely if you have back or neck issues, you may want to pass on this one. To tell you the truth, when I ride this, I don't remember all the little details. There are a lot of them that tie into the movies. I'm just holding on for dear life. LOL!

Yelp
The storytelling of this ride. Who doesn't like to feel like you're saving the day and having to cross firey bridges, get attacked with spews of air (IYKYK), to riding in a rickety jeep during your adventure? So many surprises on this ride and so much to see and look at. It's truly an adventure and an immersive experience.

Yelp
Ride a rugged, bouncing Jeep through the exotic, trap-filled dungeon of a sinister jungle cult, filled with call backs to the Temple of Doom and Raiders of the Lost Ark. You'll know what I mean by the time you emerge, hopefully unscathed, on the other side! Outside of the Journey to the Center of the Earth ride at Tokyo DisneySea, this is probably my favorite ride in any Disney park, although the brand new Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run is a worthy challenger as well. The whole experience is a blast, but you *will* be thrown about a bit by the wayward rocking of your vehicle, so strap in, and be sure to take some Dramamine beforehand, if you are susceptible to motion sickness.

Yelp
This ride was a pleasant surprise. Since this is my first time at Disneyland, I thought this was an Indiana Jones show. I hadn't realized it was a ride until I saw on the app it said thrill ride. I also am not sure what Indiana Jones has to do with Disney. I guess I was confused since it is a show at Disney World in a park I have never visited, so I almost skipped it since I did not want to attend a show, I wanted to maximize my rides on this day. Glad I did, it was a lot of fun. This ride really reminded me of a Universal Orlando combo ride of The Mummy and the Harry Potter rides. Fun twists and turns and some fire. It is different from Magic Kingdom, which is good for me since I wanted to experience something new that I have never seen before. I have seen most of the movies, but the kids have never even seen a single movie, so I feel that part of the ride is lost on them. I do not even know if they know who Indie is. I also feel it is a bit dated, it is reminiscent of an 80's film. So is it still relevant to this generation or just nostalgia for us who know and love this franchise? Not sure but it was fun regardless and we had a good time.

Yelp
Yes, the ride is working again! By 11pm, I finally got to ride the Indiana Jones Adventure and best of all, the wait was no longer than 15mins, woohoo!!! Before heading back to my hotel, my last ride was the Lilly Belle Train. However, the train broke down and stopped at New Orleans Square. Therefore, I decided to walk back and ventured through Adventureland and was able to take in a 9:45pm show at Walt's Enchanted Tiki Room. Afterwards, I walked past Indiana Jones Adventure and saw some patrons running in. I asked Indiana Jones Cast Members if the ride was working and they nodded yes, score!!! Located in Adventureland right next to the Jungle Cruise. If the ride was operating in the day, the wait would have been anywhere from 40 mins to 1 hour (or more) unless you beeline it here directly after rope drop. My first ride of the day would have been this one, but it was currently closed. Fast forward to 11pm, I got to ride it, woohoo!!! I love Indiana Jones movies, especially, the Temple of Doom one, such a classic and Actor Harrison Ford was such a babe (he still is), lol! However, for this ride, you'll be going through the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. I recall going on this ride as a child and it was my favorite! You'll board the troop transport and buckle in your seatbelt quickly. This ride seats 12 people (3 rows, four to a seat). I got to sit in the driver seat, yes! Bummer, the steering wheel is screwed on tight, lol! The ride itself is full of windy roads, twists, bumps here and there, but no huge drops. You can either wear your Minnie Mouse ears or take it off (I did the latter). You'll encounter Mara (the idol) and if you look into its eyes, "Your path now leads to the Gates of Doom!" You'll then go through the Tunnel of Torment, The Gate, Overlook, Mummy Chamber, Bug Room, The Pit, Snake Temple, Mud Slide, Skull, Rat Cave and Dart Room. Lastly, seeing and escaping the giant Rolling Boulder and seeing the exhausted looking, animatronic Dr. Indiana Jones looking up at the patrons saying, "Next time, you're on your own," before returning back to the station. Loooooove this ride as a child and now, still looooooving it as an adult! The only thing that sucks about leaving this ride is the exit area - such a long walk outta there (as well as getting to the ride inside). Nonetheless, I still dig it and looking forward to riding it again whenever I'm back!

Yelp
This is basically the same ride as Dinosaur in WDW but without the thrills. All this ride does is shake you up as you go on the track. The pre-show is boring as is the extensive walk through to get to the ride, up and down stairs. At least with the soon to be extinct Dinosaur, you get some knowledge and scares. Ho-hum ride.

Yelp
Try to ride with your feet up! It makes the ride more fun! We love this ride, although it does break a lot lol. What sucks is when that happens, they only give the first 10 people or so in line a fast pass to be used on another ride ... sometimes this doesn't even happen (yes, we've been in line during numerous visits where the ride has broken!). The outside waiting area is so pretty for pics! It truly feels lIke you're in a mini jungle and it has perf natural lighting all day! The ride itself is a vehicle attached to a track that takes you on a thrilling adventure. It doesn't jerk you around too much, so def ok for smaller kids. There's no camera on this ride, although there might as well be at the end where the light is blinding! The end is my fav part because you truly feel like you're gonna get rolled down by a giant boulder! I don't want to say too much more to give any of the ride away! :) (4/5 solely based on how often this ride breaks down!)

Yelp
This ride gets 4 stars for it's overall amazingness and thrill factor, but if you've been riding it since it's inception like I have you know it's very much gone downhill. Numerous parts of the ride (like the snake) no longer move or work. It's disappointing but if you don't know what you're missing it will be a blast. Many folks like front row views but if you like a little extra thrill the back row corner seats are where it's at. Worth riding multiple times so you can to feel the difference.

Yelp
I love this ride so very much! Easily in my top five rides at Disneyland. I love the decorations as you walk through the line. The environment they create with all the noises, textures and buildings make it feel like you are in the movie. The ride was just as good as it always is! The ride is fun and adventurous as you are trying to escape and get out of the building. The do a great job on creating a extreme intense feeling on the urgency of the situation. I love this ride and I highly recommend it if you go to Disneyland!
