Indiana Kenanga, lembongan

We stayed here for a week as a family. The staff are all lovely. Great pool and the food at the restaurant is delicious. As others have said just a few minor things could make it 5 stars. The staff give you a menu on the lounges but don’t think to come back and take your order… or as others have said it can be hard to get someone’s attention. Happy hour just one hour - I think they would sell a lot more drinks having it for longer as others nearby do. Also agree w comments on the breakfast menu if it’s included in your rate. It’s very basic and gets boring for a week. The a la carte has many more interesting things on it. We also got really sick (not sure where from ) and 3 out of 4 had to go to the local hospital (which was excellent). I told the staff but no one cared to check in on how we were or if we needed anything which other hotels we have stayed at definitely have done. So little improvements but generally been happy. And make use of the vehicle they have - we didn’t even know that was an option!!

Beautiful hotel in a great location with a lovely spa and a charming restaurant for breakfast and lunch. However, the rooms are in need of urgent maintenance – we experienced leaking roofs and signs of mold. The dinner menu is also very limited, with hardly any vegetarian options. Overall still a pleasant stay, but improvements are clearly needed in key areas.

The hotel is in need of refresh and some capital expenditure. All is a bit tired and it’s not a budget hotel so the customer expects more. The lady running the hotel does a magnificent job and it is really down to the owners to put some $$$ back in. We are now 3 years post covid and therefore the financial position should have improved. We looked at other less expensive hotels along the beach and came away thinking that Indiana does not warrant the price tag for its rooms. The staff are all very friendly and they have a shuttle which is handy when stepping out for dinner on the island. Would i stay here again? Probably not.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment . It pitches itself as a 5 star hotel, but the owners need to realise that if they want that status they need to upgrade all the rooms and facilities. For example, Many of the lounge cushions are tired and dirty. Whilst some maintenance is being undertaken it is cosmetic. The pillows in the room are lumpy instead of being fresh. The sheets are grey and we did have a problem with dirty linen. The manageress is lovely and was very responsive to our requests. The location is good. In summary, this is not an inexpensive hotel and we did expect more. I think for the cost, guests could look further afield. In our minds Batu Karang is the benchmark of a true 5 star hotel on this island. The breakfast whilst part of the package is “uninspiring”.

The second time we came to Indiana Kenanga. Great pool, the most fantastic view on the Beach and sunset. The garden is beautiful. The breakfast, lunch and diner is top quality. I hope in the future you can eat the lunch menu also for diner. There is not so much choice of diner when you stag a longer time. For lunch there is plenty of choice, When we come back to Lembongan we are definetely stay in Indiana Kenanga. We really love this place. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Food drinks are good but quite expensive compared to nearby beachfront options. Day beds require minimum spend of 200k each. Umbrellas are small and provide minimal shade. Beach is swimmable with good sunset view.

Very good experience in this lovely hotel nearby the sea and the beach with an occidental restaurant feet in the sand but Indonesian plate is missing. Very good welcoming with always smiling staff. Very nice and cosy room but difficult to know how the shower is working. To try and retry again.

We had the most beautiful anniversary here! The food, the view, the vibes, all 10/10. The only thing I would say is that it was a little hard to get the restaurant staff attention at times but it was gorgeous regardless and they were all so kind
