Indigo Cat

We got a beautiful handmade blanket and sling bag here, they hand-make everything upstairs. The bag was custom, we worked with them in the store on the design and they happily had it delivered to us in Ho Chi Minh City, We ordered on a Friday and the bag was made and delivered by the Following Wednesday, can't ask for better service than that!

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN SAPA !! This is a 10-star review because our stay at Indigo Cat was fantastic. Chaï, the owner, is a very good english speaker (which is rare in Sapa), but above all, she’s a lovely, kind and very helpful person. Indigo Cat is a family business and all of them are very nice and appealing. There is also a nice shop with Indigo handcrafted items, so it makes the place very special. Room is very clean and spacious for 2 people. The hotel opened recently so all the furniture and bed linen are new. Take a room with Mountain view, it’s fabolous. I recommend this place at 1000% !!!

Not a huge selection, but there are some interesting items. The store definitely looks more stylish than other places. There was a room with sewing machines on the second floor.

We took the batik workshop with Chai, was a fantastic experience and they made our design into a pillow to take home :-)

Got a tattoo from Anika and she was great! love the design of her tattoo and she had space for me on short notice!

Beautiful shop, the items seem to me as the most genuine you could find in a shop in the town of Sapa.

I bought birds on a string from here for 220,000 which is a bit more than other places but the lovely woman on the register was literally hand making them in front of us and the birds are made with indigo dyed fabric. Just beautiful. The other products there are also really lovely and good quality.

Much cheaper than the ladies selling on the street. We saw a few locals weaving and sewing when we went up to the 2nd level so we are sure that their products are handmade.
