Indigo Nature Retreat provides the perfect sanctuary to surround yourself in nature and get away from the noise and busyness of life. The property is quiet, secluded and breathtakingly beautiful. The cabins are adorable~ clean, cozy and well decorated, they provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. I host yearly wellness retreats at Indigo, and Lisa and Alex are always a joy to work with. They are kind, accommodating and well-organized ~they go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of down to the last detail-which gives me such peace of mind. The love Lisa and Alex have for Indigo is evident in how well it is cared for. They pour their heart and soul into this place and it shows! It has become one of my favorite places to visit~ an oasis for healing, reflection and connection, things we could all use more of these days. I am already looking forward to my next retreat there~ I highly recommend you go and experience the magic of Indigo for yourself, you'll be so glad you did:)

My friend and I just co-facilitated a retreat at Indigo Nature Retreat, and we couldn't be more grateful for the experience. Lisa and Alex have created such a special place—every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the love they’ve poured into the land and cabins is felt in every corner. The photos truly don’t do it justice. Even after being impacted by Helene, their care and commitment to this space shines through. They were incredibly attentive and supportive throughout our stay. Our retreat participants had an amazing time. We offered yoga and sound healing indoors and even practiced on the porch one beautiful morning! It was also a simple drive into Black Mountain for dinner one night and for hiking nearby on another day. We’re already planning to return next year. Can’t wait to come back!

I recently visited this beautiful retreat with my family, and it was everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Despite the recent hurricane, the property is still as peaceful and welcoming as ever. The dedication of the hosts, Lisa and Alex, to maintaining this sanctuary is truly remarkable. Nestled at the end of the serene Newberry Creek Road, the retreat offers a tranquil escape surrounded by trees, mountain views, and the calming sounds of a nearby creek. The cabins and cottages are cozy, thoughtfully decorated, and provide all the creature comforts you could want. One of my favorite spots was the yoga studio where we did a family flow. We also enjoyed easy access to nearby hiking trails If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat to recharge, don’t hesitate to book a stay here! The recent hurricane hasn’t diminished the beauty or spirit of this place—it’s still an oasis of calm

Indigo is a treasure! The lullaby of the creek at night + cooling off in it in the afternoon is wonderful for rest!! I am grateful for many memories with the amazing women of Jen Fisher Yoga!! I'll be back again and again for a magical soul-stice with the ladies in Indigo's treasured woods.

My mom and I stayed at Indigo Nature Retreat for a week recently. It was serene, beautiful, relaxing, captivating, etc. All the things! We had an amazing week! We visited friends onsite and attended a mini-retreat led by these friends for two of our visit days. We also felt very fortunate to be able to meet Lisa Garcia, the Founder of Indigo Nature Retreat, who was so gracious and kind to us. Overall, we absolutely loved our time at Indigo!

I have co-hosted 10 women’s retreats over 3 years at Indigo. And for good reason. This July was the first since hurricane Helene, and I was so delighted to see the magic of this place is still as strong and welcoming as it always was. In fact, the creek has even more spots to wade in and cool off! If you’re wondering whether to stay, do not hesitate! Come to recharge in the beauty of this place. 💚

A serene and luxurious retreat location! The Creekside cabins are truly stunning, and located right next to the creek, so you can crack a window and hear the creek all night. But you can also be immersed in nature while being extremely comfortable, with air conditioning and a full bathroom. And the large house is decorated so beautifully and has the best porch you can relax on and watch the nature (we saw a bear!). And the location is great; remote enough to feel removed from everything, but close to Old Fort and Black Mountain for shopping, necessities, and breweries. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

This is a perfect place to host a retreat! In addition to the beauty of the setting, Indigo provides a tasteful, comfortable space with all the little touches! I facilitated a lovely retreat there this weekend, where we all were nourished by the land and the energy at Indigo. Highly recommend!
