Indigo - Park Royal

The staff is great, but they seem to have a problem with the inventory displayed on the app compared to what they actually have. I’ve been to this location 3 times and wasted 3 trips because the inventory on the app didn’t match what they had in stock. They’re also not entirely sure where or what they actually have in stock.

Indigo Park Royal is an excellent store—spacious, well-organized, and a pleasure to visit. The selection of books, gifts, and home items is impressive, and everything is easy to browse. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it a great place to spend time, whether you’re shopping or just exploring. One of the best Indigo locations around.

Nice, clean store with great displays. Browsing for something new but needed inspiration. The staff is usually friendly & willing to help. In the past I haven't really asked for help but boy was I glad I did this time. Shoutout to Iliana for not only being very friendly & chill, but also really helpful & knowledgeable about the genres & topics I was trying to find. She had great recommendations for my niche interests. I'm overjoyed at the books I got (both recs by her). While I didn't *need* the books (as I had way too many at home) but I'm stoked to have 2 new ones to delve into. It's so rare to feel like I struck gold. Thanks Iliana!

Always my favorite place to wander. This store never fails to amaze me with its peaceful atmosphere.

The large, attractive space is well organized. Readers can move easily to sections that offer subjects of interest. Indigo also sells non-book items that are mostly personal care and gift items. My interactions with staff were entirely satisfactory. Persons with mobility challenges and others will be concerned about the lack of seating in this bookshop. That is obviously by design. The company wants buyers, not browsers. A comment on Reddit said, "Indigo is slowly but surely turning their stores into lifestyle department stores instead of community hub style bookstores." It isn't easy today for brick-and-mortar retailers to compete with online sellers, so we must accept Indigo's product mix and retailing style.

Don't waste your money with Express shipping. I paid for it but received my book 3 days later than expected; when I would have received it using regular shipping. Complete rip-off.
