Wowza, Indochine has really stepped up the game! Live DJs every weekend, drinks flowing, kind and approachable workers. Definitely a must-see stop on a night out in Santa Barbara. Nelson and his team give an incredible memorable experience that may leave you a lil hungover but with fond memories of your weekend!

Jocelyn was epic. The place just went through a remodel and it is fabulous. The bottle service is intrinsic! Call ahead and they’ll prep for your great night!

Went in for happy hour, nelson did a great job with the remodel. Place looked great. Whole staff is amazing. Nelson is the second fastest bartender I’ve ever seen. Almost blew my mind. Definitely will be stopping in on the weekends to hangout.

If you're looking for a calm mellow night out, this is not the place for you, Indochine has been one of my favorite, if not my favorite nightclub on State street for the past decade, EVERY single time I've come here(it's been ALOT) has been unforgettable, this place not only has the best staff, best drinks and best music, they have the best dance floor, don't believe me? Pass by the big window on a busy night. This place for sure passes the vibe check. Do yourself a favor and check it out. While your there make sure to say hi to the GM Nelson, seriously the friendliest, funniest dude you'll ever meet.

I’m giving it two stars because the bartender who helped us out was great! However, one of the security guards just grabbed our drinks as we were talking and threw them away without saying anything. They were both halfway full and the space in the back was pretty empty, so I don’t understand why he would throw our drinks away which were clearly not finished.

Went to Indo when it first opened. Since then it wasn't a place I wanted to be at. I ended up going back because the DJ's at Sunset Sessions told the crowd to follow them over there. New sound, place was cleaned up (especially the front window - IYKYK) great drinks and the DJ's killed. We've gone back since because they have been putting up great headliners, including DJ Olivia and Anahita. Excellent "new" addition to lower State

This place was FIRE once! It was the HOTTEST place on state street. I mean even if you got BURNED and your date didn't show up the temperature in this place was HOT.

I had a great time there over the weekend. It's really cleaned up! The Espresso Martini with tequila is a new favorite! They were very friendly and I will definitely go back...

Randomly walked into Indochine because of the Happy Hour and was nothing less of impressed. Chris was not just a bartender but really knowledgeable about the Spirits he was serving. The hospitality, and customer service was top tier. Met both of the owners (Chris & John) and they were welcoming and heart warming. The outside patio had awesome decor. I will definitely be coming back to visit the next time I am back in Santa Barbara. A MUST visit.

The bouncer is very nice and I think the best asset to this establishment. This place definitely needs a deep clean. When you go from the dance floor to the outside area it definitely smells like shit. They had good music though. I think we were hear on Latino night. No food here. Nor would I eat anything here.

One of the workers named Carlos wouldn't let my group in because one of our friends had a jersey but we could visibly see multiple people with jerseys in the building.

I was with a group of women celebrating a bachelorette. Unfortunately we had no idea where to go after dinner! Ended up walking up state street and Indochine looked like a great spot. Nelson greeted us at the door and helped set up bottle service on the back patio for us. We had a wonderful time. Nelson and Jocelyn took very good care of us and went above and beyond. Dan was also a great sport and helped celebrate the bachelorette in style. I will be bringing all my friends here anytime I'm downtown!!!

I've usually enjoyed going here because of the music, & well since there aren't many other options in SB, pre-Covid. Especially the outside area. However, I recently went for the first time & had an uncomfortable & infuriating experience & definitely don't want to support this business ever again. Not surprised reading these comments, but still disappointed. My friend noticed a male staff go into the bathroom with a drunk girl & because we are women, were immediately concerned. She let me know if I could check (I was completely sober). I knocked on the door & the man opened & said if I needed to use the bathroom, to go in (this is one toilet) while the girl threw up in the corner. He didn't step out, but motioned for me to come in, not to mention his breath smelled of alcohol. I told him I would wait but still felt uneasy. I let another friend know about this & she then knocked on the door again, this time two other girls needed to use the bathroom & also became concerned. Another man (the one everyone in these reviews is complaining about) got involved & started arguing with my friend saying that the guy worked there & he was helping the girl, that we needed to step outside to talk to him. We kept reiterating how this was NOT ok, no matter the fact he was staff or that he might have been helping her, he should not have been alone behind closed doors with a drunk woman. & even worse was how we were treated for being concerned, being told that "it's 2019- 2021, bathrooms can be used by anyone no matter the gender" so disgusting the way he talked to us & gaslit us. While it seemed the girl inside was okay when she saw us (though hard to tell as she was drunk), we just wanted to check on her & instead felt attacked for a legitimate concern. I can't imagine how they would handle an outright sexual assault allegation if these men are just protecting each other & not their customers. You're better off anywhere else.

Ordered and tipped the short white bartender but he gave us the wrong drink. When we told him it was the incorrect drink he yelled "it's the same f*cking thing!". Another bartender remade it instead. However, when the rude bartender saw this, he got mad and yelled at us that "If you don't like my drinks, get the f*ck out of my club and don't come back." We left and stopped to share what happened with the bouncer. The other bartender rushed out and tried to justify his friend's rude behavior, by telling us that the rude bartender was blacked out and that every bartender downtown is blacked out. Would have been easier to do the right thing and apologjze rather than being a huge a-hole. Not sure if all bartenders downtown are blacked out, but if you are looking for drinks and a place to dance go to any other bar or club rather than this sad place where they yell at women. Don't waste your time or money here.

This place is a Santa Barbara landmark. It's boutique nature makes it selective and exclusive. It's Black Market liquor selection is second to none. One should arrive around 10 ish to avoid the lines or be prepared to wait or tip for entry (but worth not waiting). Currently open Thurs thru Sat but i hear more days to come. Keep in eye on this one!!!

Definitely the best club in Santa Barbara! Bachelorette party weekend, and a club night is SO necessary. Even though our whole crew is mostly past the club phase, Indochine is a blast & really brought out our inner party animals. The crowd is cute, the music is perfect, and the ambiance is exotic. I love the mix of indoor & outdoor spaces, and the whole feel is very boutique and sexy. You have to do bottle service with Logan. Prices are super reasonable, and everyone's cover gets taken care of too. Plus Logan really goes out of his way to make sure you feel welcomed & have a good time - it's absolutely worth it!

Nelson really turning this place around! I've always loved the music here because they don't drown the solid hip hop beats with generic house beats like so many west coast college clubs. They just needed better marketing and upkeep and it's getting that now. Looking forward to seeing it glow up and become the place to be in Santa Barbara.

This is the best place to start your night and end it there! All of the workers are so friendly and drinks are cheap while the music is so fun to dance to. I come here every weekend and want to spread the word fast that this is THE place to be!

OMG!! Best bar in town 100%! The staff is so kind and fun and they'll always make sure you are okay and having fun. The drinks are bomb and the music is bangin! Great service. Excellent location. The lounge area in the back patio is fantastic for get togethers. Good chill atmosphere. If you just wanna dance, the floor inside is solid. Nice thing, they don't blast the music too loud to hear yourself think.

One of my favorite pit stops in Santa Barbara! This place used to be a wreck but it looks so nice now! Nelson and the whole crew are a pleasure!! Do not pass up this establishment which is now open for happy hour as well!

The decore was adorable, my girlfriends and I enjoyed the music, warm heating lamps, and opened space. It was not overly crowded, which was perfect because you can grab a drink and chit chat. Our waitress Yvone was so accommodating, we will definitely be back.

I've been going to indo since my first year at UCSB since transferring from Orange County. Whether downtown is packed or if it's a slow night, indo always has the best music with emasculate vibes.

Sorry for the late review, but I went to indochine last weekend and had the time of my life, the staff was really friendly and the drinks were amazing! If your in Santa Barbara you have to check them out!!!!

Stay away! Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional staff. I came here as a DD for a group of women. A random man ahead in line tells security he's paying the cover charge for the women I'm with but not me then points at me and says "I don't know him, don't let him in". The short Mexican guard got obnoxiously aggressive with me when I walked up and told me to leave the line before I could speak or get my ID. It wasn't a dress code violation or anything I did. As disrespectful as he was putting his hands on my arm and telling me to leave, I stayed cool and explained, "You just let my girl and my group in without me. I'm their ride so they're leaving too". I could still see my girl from the door who didn't know I'm being hassled outside 20 feet behind her. I called her name twice from the door(never went in) and the guard grabbed me by my neck then another employee came out and blindly defended the guard like I'm some rowdy animal that needed to be removed. It was very obvious this guy knew the guard personally and wanted to isolate me from the women by weaponizing security. Do not come here!

I had a good time! Front guys just told us to come right in and we did. They have a photo machine like thing on the wall and it sends it free to you through your phone or social media. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to clean up someone else's vomit on a toilet seat so I can go to the bathroom. The DJ was playing really good music also. #Indo #buzzybooth

I had an AWESOME experience at Indochine! It was my first time here and was a great way to break the long spell of no clubbing since the pandemic started. I can tell the bartenders and security work really hard to help out the patrons. Also, the music and the DJ were KILLER! This was definitely one of the best clubbing experiences I've had. I look forward to my next visit. Great job!

Juan Mares- Indochine is such a great nightclub With an amazing team, like bartender, securities, managers,etc. it's a fun place to hand out and the music is in another level. Super enjoyable!

I love Indochine (in-doe-sheen lol). It's one of my fave clubs/bars in downtown SB :) Pros: + Great music if you're a fan of house and electro (or the DJ usually remixes popular Top 40's songs in them too) + Speaking of DJs, Kidd Spin usually plays here in either Friday or Saturday nights and he def makes the club jumpin' jumpin' + Outdoor patio is lovely and refreshing + Indoor and outdoor bars (drinks are everywhere!) Cons: - I LOVE to dance but they have a small dance floor and it gets kinda crowded - Tiny bathroom as in a one stall bathroom that you have to wait for :( Overall, the pros outweigh the cons and if you haven't checked it out, it's worth a try :)

Indochine has been one of my favorite clubs since I turned 21, but my experience last Saturday was one of the best yet. The staff was friendly and inviting and recent updates to areas like the dance floor and women's restrooms really made a difference. I definitely will be back next time I go out.

Staff here are rude and the SB locals at this night club doesn't make it any better. I'm giving it one star bc the music and drinks are good, but the people make the ambience not it. Nice rap music compared to EDM at other clubs

A place to eat and dance. They have a restaurant to eat earlier on and then it turns into a club later in the night. This is one of the more lounge-like bars in SB. Slightly more upscale. This place looks very small from the outside but it is more narrower than anything. You walk in and theres a dance floor to your right, very small WINDOW DISPLAY! No joke, kind of makes it have a more sleezy vibe I think. The dance floor overall is very small. They have two bars. The inside you can sit down, have a fews drinks and talk. However, the drinks are a bit pricer than the actual bar bars around. Such as Madisons, Sharkeez, Sandbar etc. b/c this is more of a lounge atomosphere. The outside is nice a cozy, heat lamps another small bar. You can't get any type of alc drink out here, so you'll have to go inside where the main bar is. The bartenders have always been very nice, no complaints from me there. There is a mixed crowd, however, there are some hot guys that go here, a bit older I would say. In a good way though, not like 40 year olds, but some professional looking. LOL Again, it has a dark lounge vibe. I would suggest to go here to give it a try if you're sick of the laid back, college frat vibe, want of a more "LA"-like scene and you want to pay for over-priced drinks.

My friends and I love this place. The dance floor is always a good time. This place is unique because it has a back patio as well and a photo booth. My friends and I love using the free photo booth! Drinks are strong and inexpensive and the staff is very friendly.

The music was deinitelly popping! It grabbed our attention as we walk around state street. So we walked in and had a blast. The DJ definitely knew the right Hip Hop music to play. Too bad the dance floor is so small, other than that great place!

Excellent bar, dance floor, and lounge patio area in the back!!! SB has limited dance clubs and this one has the best music and crowd. Nelson has updated the place with great staff and drinks that keep you coming back.

Stunning place to walk into after all these years. Nelson has really upped Indos game for sure! I've ways enjoyed hanging here with my girlfriends but now I don't want to even leave to go to another club. It's quite comfortable with all the seating and good music
