"Infinity Music Hall opened in 1883 as a combination saloon, barbershop, and opera house; now it hosts live music for a great dinner-and-a-show combo including entrées like a crispy goat cheese crêpe with roasted beets, lobster risotto with gouda, or a ribeye swimming in cilantro-lime butter."

Amazing acoustics in an intimate 300-seat venue. Johnny the sound guy is super friendly and was very accommodating to me recording the show. He has taken special care in all aspects of the sound quality. Even when you're sitting front row he's put in fill speakers so you still have a fantastic audio experience. Would go back for another concert in a heartbeat. Ask for the margarita with the "ripe" mix, it's great!

Google
Nice venue to see a concert. Been 1/2 dozen times. We usually sit in the mezzanine. "NO FOOD ". Make sure to eat before you go. Not a lot to eat near bye. Restaurant next door was closed due to private event. They should take the bistro part out of their name it is confusing for some that never been there before. Was great back in the day for food.

Joe Cristiano

Google
Great music venue, the acoustics are amazing. Musicians love playing there. They need to book more shows and bring back the restaurant.

Google
If you want to see a Grateful Dead cover band sitting down this is the venue for you! After being asked multiple times to sit down by people 'who couldn't see the band', I left after the first set. Sit down room only, NO room for standing and dancing. Unfortunately, I will never come to another show here again.

Google
Concert & Cocktails. The sound system here is awesome. The John Mayall show was fantastic. There isn't a bad seat in the house. The only negative is there is no food available after the show. Parking is wicked tight.

Mike Pairuhdee

Google
Absolutely wonderful place! So much charm and character because the building itself is quite old with much history. A very small venue, only a couple hundred seats, so there's not a bad seat in the house! And the food is EXCELLENT!! We'll be back very soon for sure!

Google
Saw Celtica tonight at Infinity Hall. Besides the band being awesome, the venue is incredible! A 300 person venue with beauty and charm. It was like walking into the past with its stained glass windows, massive beams, and old style live theater. The food was very tasty as well. And thanks for the Awesome seats Mezzinin BB 14 & 15!

Google
Nice staff, good music venue, seats were a little uncomfortable though. Overall nice place to see a show!

Yelp
This is our favorite place to watch live music. We have never been disappointed by an experience at Infiniti Hall. The sound quality is great, the seating is comfortable. We love to sit up in the balcony and enjoy a dinner and a cocktail while taking it all in. This is a really special place to enjoy live music in the area.

Yelp
New owners... Bistro use to be the BEST! The best food, the best chef(s)... now barbecue? WTF... TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!! Get rid of the barbecue and put those great chef(s) and great menus back!!! Your ruining a great reputation!

Yelp
ten hearts! What a great place to see a show! There isn't a bad seat in the house unless a guy with no height restriction and a big puffy hairdo sits infront of you . But , that's not infinity's fault. Great acoustics ! Went to see my third show there and have dinner before hand . Service and food is always excellent with many choices to chose from . My husband had a burger and I had a vegetarian creole dish. Both were delicious. We shared appetizers with friends and had a few rounds of drinks ( we were partying like it was the 1970's) all were excellent & entire tab was 150.00 - (not so 70's) but still more than fair. Ticket prices are reasonable and so is the food. I love love love this place.

Yelp
The venue is great, the bistro is decent....but the quality of the acts has slipped. Once Kim left, I haven't been as much (not nearly as much worthy..). Not a good move since she books at nearby venues like Ridgefield and the theatre in Peekskill. If there is an event you'd like to see...this is a very nice intimate venue, sort of in the vein of the Katherine Hepburn Center down in Old Saybrook. I've seen Nick Lowe, Todd Rundgren, Leo Kottke, and Richard Shindell here amongst many other. Worth the trek...

Brent K.

Yelp
Infinity Hall has gone thru some dramatic changes since being sold to Good Works Entertainment. The Bistro is only open on concert nights at 5pm. The menu is now centered around barbecue/smoked food. Drinks have been raised to New York City prices with a draft pint at $9.00. Almost all shows are cover bands destroying the great lineups Infinity Norfolk was known for. Why?

Dan R.

Yelp
I've driven past this place for 25 years and always said "that place looks amazing, we have to see a concert there one day". Well that day was last night when we saw a Judy Collins concert. Infinity is small, just 335 seats including the balcony. Its stunningly gorgeous inside the concert hall- lots of dark wood and high ceilings and a pretty starlight stage background. OMG was the sound system GREAT. Clear as a perfect bell. She sang a lot of a cappella last night- both song snippets and full songs. The clarity and tone were incredible. She put on a helluva great show by the way, her range and tone and power sound the same as they did 40 years ago. The staff at the Infinity was great, everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, and dare I say it.. cool! Infinity also has a bar and a restaurant, and if you want to see the show in the balcony, they have bar tables and chairs to sip your Zin while you groove in a groovy place. What a sweet discovery the Infinity was!

Michael K.

Yelp
Why not! This is a gem of a venue - both musically, and gastronomically! Tucked away in Norfolk, they manage to book some very interesting, and at times decidedly eclectic performers. The Bistro has a killer lavender creme brûlée, which happens to be one of my favorites.... the actual "food" hasn't disappointed either. The atmosphere is cozy, yet open. If you're taking in a show, you really should try the fare. The music hall is a treasure, and I'm glad to see it thriving. I always sit upstairs where you can get full service for drinks and food.... truly there isn't a bad seat in the place. And the architecture is wonderful as well, you fell you've stepped back in time. All wood beams, etc..... Highly recommended!

Yelp
Just the loveliest theater ever. Great accoustics. Not a bad seat in the house. Pleasant staff. Delicious food. Good drinks. We love it here! We highly recommend you book tickets up in the mezzanine and have dinner. Go about an hour before the show starts. It's easier to communicate with the servers before the music starts and the lights go down.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
We loved this theater! The acoustics were amazing, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was great! I highly recommend the Norfolk flatbread. Our service was right on and we had an excellent evening all around. A+

Debs J.

Yelp
A delightful piece of history beautifully restored and ready to serve you an amazing meal. Courtney was our server. She was friendly and very professional. We enjoyed discussing the menu and she was very personable. I enjoyed a split of Mumms champagne and my husband had a glass of Cabernet. It was a cool evening and my husband started with the steaming hot bowl of chili with fresh made chips. I had the Caesar that came with my meal. Both items were flavorful and nicely presented. We were served freshly made bread that was soft and aromatic with herbed, room temperature butter(yes soft and ready to spread on the amazing bread). I simply must point this out bc too often a restaurant serves cold, hard butter. So thank you for getting this right for people who still enjoy eating bread!!Thanks for knowing the best compliment to your lovely bread is soft butter!!! Next I enjoyed the lovely encrusted salmon with fresh smashed potatoes and a roasted red pepper coulis. Delicious flavors in the salmon crust- a combination of fennel, salt and sesame on a generous portion of fish perfectly cooked. The flavors were clean and aromatic and perfectly complimented the fish. I stopped eating long enough to remember to take a photo. My husband finished his meal with the tasty red kale salad. No room for desert, but I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent service, delicious food and lovely ambiance. Thank you Chef Lisa !!!

Yelp
An awesome music venue! Wish it were closer to me! Great (kinda private)show with carbon leaf! 11/15 Thank you snow storm lol

Yelp
What an awesome venue. Want to enjoy an intimate evening with your favorite artist, in a meticulously restored 19th - Century Music Hall? This is the place. Charming. One suggestion, if you've never been, and even though you'll be sorely tempted, do not get front row seats - unless of course you want to be in position to look up, and be able to count the nostril hairs of the performer. Front row seating in this venue, pretty much puts your knees up against the stage, and should be reserved for only the most obsessive groupies. Kind of far from almost anywhere, but worth the drive.

Yelp

Yelp
Bistro - Giving the Bistro the three stars. Quality has slipped. Have been to the Bistro many times prior (last time maybe 1 1/2 years ago) and meals were always very good. Went to dinner on 1/14/17 prior to show. Lobster hush puppy appetizer was good. However, entrees were mediocre. Found out new chef in past year. The Hall/Show - Giving the Hall/Show five stars. I have always enjoyed seeing shows there. Love the smaller venue. Saw Introduction - The Chicago Experience: they were very good. Sounded like Chicago. Loved the horns.

Yelp
Second visit to Infinity Hall. A bit out of the way but worth the drive.. To start, the town of Norfolk is a perfect New England setting. Makes you feel good just arriving and seeing the outside of the building. On street parking is readily available. Arrived an hour before the show. Greeted by a friendly staff and shown to our mezzanine seats. In the mezz you get to order from the bistro menu. Waitress friendly and efficient. Food selection is very good. Ordered some wine and had a delightful dinner. As a small venue - no, not small . . . It is tiny!, every seat is up close to the stage. View from upstairs as well as the acoustics all perfect. We were entertained by the jazz quartet Fourplay. Great show! Delicious food! Excellent seats! Perfect evening out. Can't wait to return.

Matthew L.

Yelp
Our party of 6 stopped in around 5pm for early dinner after a business meeting Friday. Excellent ambiance and decor for a building built over 130 years ago. We were seated toward the rear of the restaurant overlooking the town meadow. Our server Anne was great and was able to accommodate everyone the entire evening. Lobster tails with risotto cakes were on special and absolutely delicious in addition to the lobster hush puppies, buffalo wing appetizers and the dessert tray. **WOW** Over all great food, location, and service. Highly recommend this hidden gem in Norfolk. You won't be disappointed. Extra props to the chefs in the kitchen, Nicely done everyone!

Yelp
(I'm tacking this on to my last update) -- I'm bringing it down a notch. While I still LOVE the Infinity, and still give it Five Stars in my heart, I appreciate the concerns of other reviewers. It is excellent. But it isn't Five Stars. Our server was a newbie (not her fault, of course), and while our meals were fantastic, and our server tried her best, it just wasn't Five Stars. I have to be fair. The EVENING was Five Stars. An excellent meal and an awesome concert (2d row center seats) made the night Five Stars. And I guess that is why I gave it my first Five Star rating. The experience. But if you're just dropping in for lunch, it's a whole different story. With that....let the update begin... ____________________________ I hear the Infinity is opening a Hartford venue...that would be awesome, but I can't imagine how anything could compare to this Norfolk gem. I guess the remote location is part of what makes it "special." It's a rare treat that we get to go there. We had that treat last night, and I'm happy to report that the Infinity Bistro is still superb. Prior to an incredible evening with Cowboy Junkies, we enjoyed a leisurely dinner in the Bistro (TIP: reserve as far ahead as possible. The restaurant packs quickly on concert night, and the coveted 6:00-7:00 tables were unavailable. I called and did some finagling in order to get even a 5:30 bar table, two hours before the show). The calamari with daikon radish and lemon-ginger aioli was still on the menu, and was as good as ever. We shared a house salad (big! -- we took half of it home) and a most excellent soup of the day, a Thai broth that was sweet, spicy and delicious. We each decided upon the specials instead of the menu offerings: good choice! I got a locally sourced pork chop, stuffed with goat cheese, spinach and sun-dried tomatoes, grilled to perfection. Tender, moist, and nearly two inches thick. It was accompanied by some roasted fingerling potatoes and petite stalks of grilled asparagus. Wow! More stuff to take home...good thing it was a very cold night and the car was parked right out front so we had somewhere to put the food while we enjoyed the show. The other special featured four seared sea scallops wrapped in -- something. I forget...seaweed or spinach. Either way, very good! They came on a bed of sautéed onions and greens, with fine strips of cucumber and a delicious glaze. Bottom line is, dinner at the Bistro before a show upstairs at the Infinity Music Hall is still one of the best nights out you'll find, in one the most unsuspecting locations.

Heather G.

Yelp
This place is gorgeous. I can't speak to the bistro, but I've heard nothing but great things about it. I wish more major people would come here and do intimate shows, the place seats 300 people and there is not a crappy seat one in the house.

Bill T.

Yelp
Dinner at Infinity Bistro was an outstanding experience-- from the gracious hosts to our friendly waitress, with wonderful food including a Caesar salad followed by delicious and generous serving of lobster macaroni and cheese. Our dinner companions were equally pleased with their corn and seafood chowder, Cobb salad and homemade bread. Our meal was capped off with a shared caramel sundae and a homemade oatmeal cookie. While many of the people there for dinner headed upstairs to the 320 seat music room to see Reckless Kelly in concert, we elected to stick around downstairs, saving live music for another night. We are very lucky to have a world class music venue and fine dining experience here in our bucolic New England town. Infinity Hall and Bistro are highly recommended, and worth a stop in beautiful Norfolk, Connecticut.

Samantha S.

Yelp
An outstanding cultural venue in a music-oriented small town, this 300+ seat "music hall" hosts hundreds of events per year, ranging from tribute bands, open-mike nights, and something called "Enter the Haggis" to acts like Ani DeFranco, Lee Ann Womack, Spyro Gyra, the Kingston Trio, and George Winston. Which is to say: This is an eclectic place. The wood-paneled hall is gorgeous, and the acoustics are great. The seating is minimal and not particularly comfortable, but I guess there's no way to replace it without rejiggering everything. The staff seems pleasant and efficient. Having dinner or drinks in the bistro downstairs is a no-brainer. The friendly servers (most seem to be musicians) will get you to the show on time, although the kitchen seems overwhelmed easily. The solid menu is creative, aiming for highbrow and almost getting there. There's now a sister outpost of Infinity in Hartford, boasting a similarly wide-ranging slate of performers.

Carol P.

Yelp
Last night we ate at The Bistro at Infinity Hall in Norfolk for the second time. The food was fantastic - one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Very creative and talented chef. Even though this location is a bit far from where we live, the Bistro would be a draw for the hour and a half drive. Plus we saw a great show. Definitely recommend Infinity Hall Norfolk. Dinner for two with tip and one drink each was around $90. We also love going to Infinity Hall in Hartford which is much closer to where we live, but the Bistro in Hartford is nowhere near as good as the Bistro in Norfolk.

Andrew L.

Yelp
Very rarely have anybody worth spending any money to see guys who should be retired 10 years 10 to 20 years ago Foods will Quality Inn in Christ better food for less money right next door who can I find the sound to leave something to be desired

Bob C.

Yelp
5 stars for the hall and it's ambiance and 2 stars for the food from the bistro. 5 stars for the wait staff. The place is absolutely beautiful and has great acoustics and lighting. This is a must-see stop if you are in this town. We saw some Icelandic music there and had a good time. My lonely beer was a local Berkshire Ale and it was good and reasonably priced (compared to that of surrounding establishments). My wife and I had ate before the show and got dessert here. We love cheesecake (my wife is also a professional NY style cheese cake baker) so we tried 2 orders of the cheesecake bites. My wife got 2 of the 4 down, I got through 1 and a half. I literally asked my wife if something tasted off (spoiled, moldy, etc). She replied no but said "they are disgusting." We didn't complain, just chalked up to not liking the recipe, or perhaps our tastes our pickier being from NY). At 8$+ for something like that, it was disappointing. All in all, a great experience. The staff was amazing & friendly...and kept our glasses of water topped off at all times. This place needs to stay open. I would love to hear more music and or theatre here (I don't know if they do theatre) but they should.

Jack K.

Yelp
Based in a small town Connecticut, middle of nowhere - at least for a New Yorker, this music hall features many national and regional artists. One in particular and also my favorite, Howie Day, has performed here numerous times. I really enjoyed the intimate performances/concerts held in this warm, beautiful and historical venue. Of course, the experience is not complete without dining at the Infinity Bistro. The restaurant is conveniently located inside the hall with beautiful decor, attentive service and delicious food. I'd recommend the scallops for any seafood foodies. Scallops were fresh, huge and cooked to the right texture. Although the round-trip drive from NYC to Norfolk, CT in one day was a bit of a stretch, I'm delighted to say the overall experience was amazing. Who knows, next time I might stay and explore the cute little town for a couple of days.

Paige N.

Yelp
Outstanding. I cannot wait to come back here for another show. This music venue is by far the most beautiful I've been to, ever. Vibrant victorian detailing, wooden rafters (perhaps aiding in the glorious acoustics of this venue) and low mood lighting make this place unbelievably gorgeous. Come here for the whole visceral experience. Despite its elegant attractiveness, it maintains an entirely unostentatious vibe. I saw Big Bad Voodoo Daddy here, and they fit right in perfectly with the ambience of this place in their zoot suits and shiny instruments. WOW- come here! You can also get dinner, drinks, etc. before, during and after the show. I sat in the mezzanine section, which was such an intimate experience. We had our own little "bar" overlooking the stage (prime location for people watching, pay special attention to the "dance floor"). If you sit in the mezzanine section, you also get a waitress who will tend to your drink needs. A huge plus! Downstairs you'll have to waltz up to the bar yourself. I was completely in awe with the utter beauty of this place throughout the entire show. Truffle fries and Back East beer add to my love for this venue! I wish the one coming to Hartford would look the same as this, but alas, buildings circa 1883 which once functioned as combination opera houses/barber shop/saloons do not exist in every corner of the state. Norfolk is a quaint New England town which is perfectly suited for this venue.

Brittany W.

Yelp
You can never go wrong at this restaurant. Don't let the rural and bare list of dining options in the area make you feel nervous when trying the Infinity Hall for the first time. The warm, contemporary-rustic charm it portrays from the outside is the exact feel you will experience inside. Spacious but not too spacious, warm colors and lighting... Infinity Hall is perfect for a catch-up with a friend or two over drinks, a romantic meal with your significant other, or even Easter brunch! The food is delicious an the servings are plentiful.

Allison C.

Yelp
The newest reincarnation of this building, Infinity Hall, is a grand masterpiece and a fine venue for Northwestern Connecticut. Over the years, it's been through many changes. I remember, pre-Infinity Hall and during my high school glory days, watching a film screening of "Arsenic & Old Lace" there (Cary Grant...HOT. But, I digress...). I also remember some friends performing a few small plays on stage as well. The space was grand, but it didn't sparkle and shine the way it does now! Dining and drinks are downstairs, and a grand staircase leads you up to the main concert hall. It holds less than 300 people. There is absolutely no way to have a bad seat here. The music and atmosphere is absolutely enveloping. I went for my dear father's 63rd birthday, as he wanted to see Average White Band like nobody's business. My parents and I went, having seats just left of center, and DAMN, man! What an amazing show! Granted, a lot of the acts that come through aren't particularly ones that cater to my personal liking (...WHAT?! No Childish Gambino?!?!), but you'd be surprised as what comes through! The Bacon Brothers, LeAnn Rimes, Shawn Colvin, Bela Fleck, Shawn Mullins...not too shabby! No one from the NWC necessarily wants to drive to Hartford, Albany, or NYC for a concert. Heck, some may not even want to drive the extra 20 minutes to Torrington if something good is happening at the Warner. This is a shining gem in the middle of Norfolk and a venue to be experienced. So...GO.

Suz K.

Yelp
Fabulous and an isolated (hopefully) not so fabulous experience. I attended a Jeffrey Gaines concernt at Infinity Music Hall. Prior to show, I ate in the bistro downstairs. The hall: Amazing building, incredible renovation, outstanding acoustics. Every corner turned produced an "ooooh" from me in relation to the building. Definitely concur with other reviewers - sit up stairs in mezzanine. Stage level seats seemed tight and cramped. Not sure I could sit there for two hours with a packed house in what looked like a step up from Catholic church pews. Definitely not comfy. Upstairs mezzanine serves food and beverages and has much more room. Try to sit directly center in the front row of the mezz. Staff: Staff were incredbily friendly and helpful. Pleasure to chat with. With one exception. For the first part of the Gaines show there was a group of four businessmen loudly chatting behind my partner and I. I was going to let it go until it continued on and on and got louder. I did not pay 30$ pp to listen to men chatter behind me. My partner complained to waitress and asked if she could ask them to keep it down. Waitress informed us it was the OWNER of the music hall and his friends. (Uh, yeah, so what.). They seemed to quiet down for a bit after that. Waitress later did not charge us for the drinks we had due to owner disrupting show. The Restaurant: Limited menu of what appears to be good food. We ate simply (reuben $11 and a whipporwhill farm burger with fries). All plates were a bit pricey. Decent wine list, martinis and more. Great decor, ambiance and fabulous wait staff. My only suggestion would be more item on the menu that arent major meals (like 26$ entree for steak). Some people like lighter fare.

Sarah C.

Yelp
We love this place so much, we look at the lineup each month and even if we're not that crazy about all of them, we'll pick one just to get out there again. There is no bad seat in the house. We usually sit about halfway back from the stage. The seats are comfortable, but perhaps not for very tall/heavy set concert goers. The Hartford venue's seats are more comfortable, and have drink holders. The Norfolk seats are a little less cushioned. The acoustics are fantastic. The huge fan overhead keeps the temperature very comfortable. The full-service bar is easy to access during intermissions. Really, really great place for live music.

Marleena C.

Yelp
This place is glorious. My husband and I have so much fun when we come here. I love the fact that you can watch a band play while eating dinner and having drinks. There is really not a bad seat in the house, but if I am not in the section that allows you to eat during the show, I would prefer to have front row seats only. It is a very intimate club and most band members will offer to meet you after the show or even have a few drinks at the bar in the bistro with you! The food is decent but not the best I have had. You might as well stick to the common dishes then try anything outside of the box because some of the more unique dishes just do not work here. The parking could be better but it is so worth the walk! Just a side note, you really need to stay on top of the band announcements at this place. While they have a calendar set up for upcoming events, sometimes a band will just book last minute and sell out in like 30 seconds. This happened when Tori Amos came here last year (WHA-WHAT!!??!!)...we found out the day before, tried to order tickets and found out the whole place was sold out in seconds. This is one of my favorite places to see a concert because even if you are not the biggest fan of the band playing, you will STILL have a great time. 5 stars for the hall and the atmosphere, 3 stars for the food, = a solid 4 stars! ps..the Bacon Brothers Band is coming here for no reason in a few months. I do not know why I find this silly. All I can picture is Kevin Bacon dancing like a maniac in the abandoned factory in FOOTLOOSE.

Gary E.

Yelp
Food is often very good, they have had not so great weeks in the food department. Bartenders Diane and Brock are really good and nice people. Overall great place to see a show, great acoustics, not a bad seat.

Type D.

Yelp
If this awesome venue wasn't located so damn far away from EVERYTHING, I'd have given it five stars. Stellar bands. Awesome sound/seating. Friendly staff. Just great. Tip: the mezzanine is the place to sit. Best seats/sound in the house.

Ken D.

Yelp
This place was a surprise. We had planned on going to the Wood Creek Grill, but it was closed, so...we wandered into the Infinity Hall Bistro. The place has a great vibe, solid service and really interesting menu items. The food was great and the cocktails big and frequent. We'll definitely be back for more.

Kristin S.

Yelp
Hubby and I schlepped up to Infinity from Long Island to see Soul Asylum play; it was a helluva drive, but we're so glad we did! First, the venue is absolutely gorgeous - very comfy and rustic. Cozy, I suppose, is the word, as it seats only about 300 people all told. As it's so small, every seat's a good one, even if it's a sell-out crowd. As it was less than half full on the night we went (a crime, but that's neither here nor there), the ushers allowed people some latitude in terms of moving up to the very front of the stage, which was lovely. Along those lines: Every staffer with whom I dealt (box office, ushers) were more than merely professional - everyone made their best efforts to accommodate me, a wheelchair user. They even let me sit in a row other than the designated wheelchair seating & stored my wheelchair for me until the end. The only reason, in fact, I'm not giving Infinity five stars is the aforementioned hellish drive. If your hike would be, say, an hour or less, add a star to this review.

fred s.

Yelp
This one star is only for last night. We had a great time until we went to the bar after the show. Hey bartender. If you think someone has had too many, serve them or don't. We don't need accusing looks or lectures. Never mind that the "drunk" in question wasn't driving, had three drinks over four hours, and walked just fine. You can't tell the difference between drunk and tired? Hey security dude. We sat there speechless. There was no problem you needed to make a presence about. At a bar, be invisible. If someone gets out of line, appear out of no where. That's how they do it at respectable venues. No one wants to see idiots talking into their shoulder. And I don't care what skills he might have, using a 5'8" security dude is asking for trouble (the one outside talking into his shoulder). 10 - 4? I'm guessing Infinity Hall should pay more so they can hire professionals, but next time I'll go somewhere else for an after show drink. I love the venue but I'm still dreaming of a place like this that can serve drinks in real glasses instead of plastic. And I'd rather not be marked or tagged in some way especially with a wrist band. The hall used an invisible marker. That's an improvement but I still feel like cattle.

Yelp
Arrived at 6:30 for 6:45 reservations with tickets to see a concert upstairs at 8pm. We were seated right away but took server 10 minutes or so to come over. The dining room was about 50% filled. We ordered immediately, two drinks, salads and entrees (steak and veggies stir fry) figuring better safe than sorry with 8pm tickets. We had to wait 20 minutes for our salads ...20 minutes for two small salads. I wasn't pleased but as I was looking forward to a nice evening of music I ignored it. That became more difficult as we waited for our entrees... esp as we saw other parties who came in after us get their food before us. At about 730 our server apologized and said she checked with the kitchen and our entrees would be out in "just 2 minutes." Well, 10 minutes later (and a full hour after sitting down) our entrees arrived. My steak was under cooked (very rare and not medium rare as I ordered...to the point of my plate being covered in blood as I cut it) and cold. It was also about 1/3 fat and gristle (not appropriate for a NY Strip). My wife's meal was fine. With only 20 minutes to spare before the show I ate what I could of the steak and when the server came around to check in I told her I was very unhappy with the meal and service. She apologized and said she'd talk to the manager, Abby. The server came back to the table at 7:55 stating that They were taking our drinks (a beer and a lemonade) off the bill. I told her that I'd rather pay for the drinks and not pay for a $28 steak I couldn't eat and asked her to send the manager to our table. She returned a short time later and apologized and explained that Abby stated she was too busy and I'd have to wait to speak to her...REALLY????? I was super pissed off that the manager would not come to the table but as it was now 8pm and the concert was about to start I just paid the bill and asked the server to tell Abby that I would be calling the owner as well as leaving an appropriate review for our experience. I'll not return to The Infinity Bistro and caution anyone who does to be ready for really crappy service. We've been to the Hartford location 3 times with no issues.

Yelp
Saw and heard Dar Williams here on 6-7-12 but didn't get any food or drink so have no comments on the bar & restaurant. The performance space has excellent acoustics, the space is unobtrusive and the seats were ok. The main downside is the location which is 40+ minutes from West Hartford which puts it at about the same door-to-door travel time as the Calvin. Was in the first row and there was adequate legroom (I am a bit on the tall side) don't know how much there is in the rest of the place.

Yelp
This place is amazing for the intimate atmosphere while watching some really good bands. We have been five times now and seen some great acts including Blood Sweat and Tears and we got to meet them all. We always sit in the balcony where they serve light food and drinks. Great evening out.

Yelp
A great dining experience. Had Thanksgiving DInner there. Food was fantastic. Homemade cornbread was delicious, and the cranberry, walnut stuffing was amazing. Dinner was a buffet with lots of choices, Turkey, Pork Roast, Mashed Potatos, Sweet Potatos. Everything was delicious. Price was good, only $25.00 per person. A must do before shows too.

Yelp
Nice place, seating is close together. Acoustics were very good. Not happy about the amount of booze that was consumed by others, resulting in drunk, loud and obnoxious people and staff didnt intervene until well past the point they should have. Not easily handicap accessible and then only to the main hall and not the mezzanine where they serve food. Food q I te expensive, $14 for a cheeseburger, $30 for a steak, $6 for a small plastic cup of beer.

Yelp
A HIDDEN GEM IN THE NORTHWEST HILLS OF CONNECTICUT After living in Connecticut for 20 plus years I finally visited the Infinity Music Hall & Bistro after moving to Massachusetts. What a gem! I was so disappointed to not have visited this venue during my years in CT. There is not a seat in the house that doesn't provide an up close and personal experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the ticket prices are a bargain for a concert. We also ate in the Bistro. The menu has different food options. We had the the chilled calamari salad and the Norfolk flatbread. The food was delicious and used amazing combinations of ingredients. The desserts were delicious and the portions were large. If you are gluten free or vegetarian there are many options for you. I highly recommend putting this venue on your bucket list it is definitely worth the trip!

Yelp
I made my debut here last night attending the Walter Trout concert. I enjoyed one of the best dining & concert experiences I've ever had.The locals are friendly & informative . The staff & service was exemplary at this full house. The bistro & concert hall extremely beautiful. I sat five rows from the stage & the seating was very comfortable with plenty of leg room. (A 6'6'' guy next to me said the same thing negating that issue of leg room downstairs) I've already planned my next visit.

Yelp
Saw Cracker here last Saturday night. Had a reservation for dinner but when we showed up there was room at the bar so we sat there. Bartender (male) was awesome even when he was in the weeds. Food was good - I had the burger, which while cooked perfectly was a bit bland. Husband had the reuben and he said it was the best he's ever had. Great drinks, watching the LSU game with the hubs and seeing our favorite band. What more could you ask for? How about a server upstairs in the mezzanine level with no attitude. (didn't get her name but an Anna Kendrick look alike) Look, I get it...it's loud and it's hard to hear the orders but you (as a server) know that going in. I used to bartend so I ALWAYS make sure I'm polite and nice to servers. No smile from her whatsoever and we were never told that they stop serving upstairs before the end of the set. Let your patrons know that so they can order more if they want - they don't want to have to run downstairs to get another round if they want one. Other than that, great venue and a really wonderful time.

Yelp
Infinity Hall is divided into 2 parts - the Bistro and the music hall. I will review each part separately. First, the music hall is awesome. 5 Stars for the Venue!!! The venue has been totally restored to its original grandour. It is absolutely beautiful. With fewer than 300 seats in the theater, every seat is a great seat and the sight lines are great. The acoustics and speakers are great and I can't say enough about how much fun it is to see a concert there (we've seen more than 10 concerts there). The lower level is mostly normal theater-style seats and the upper level has little seating areas with table service (drinks and dinner available). We enjoy sitting on the upper level and enjoying a cocktail during the show. Having been to a number of concerts there I'd like to mention that every single performer we've seen has gone out of their way to complement the management of the theater for how well the theater is run. They have also said how beautiful the theater is relative to other theaters they perform in. Not only is it a treat for fans to view a concert, it is also a treat for performers to perform in such a great space. The enjoyment on the part of the performers definitely comes through in their performances. Even if you don't recognize the performers, it is worth picking up tickets and taking a risk...you won't be disappointed seeing a concert in this venue. However, you may be disappointed if you actually eat at the bistro and/or eat in the upper level of the theater. There are several problems...starting with the greasy and overpriced food. We have tried a number of things and decided it is usually best to stick with the sandwiches...reubans or burgers. The lobster hushpuppies range from fantastic to inedible depending on the day. We have had disappointments with the rubbery steaks to the disgusting "pommes frites" lathered in truffe oil. The other issue, which is to be expected, is that the restaurant is forced to serve a great number of people in a relatively short period of time an hour or so before a concert. The food is cooked as if it was rushed (it probably was). The service is exceptionally slow at times and, as mentioned, the prices are about 20% higher than they ought to be. I suppose they can get away with it since most people are willing to pay for the convenience of dining in the theater. The bistro itself is pretty cool and it is nice to have a drink at the large bar. We have found it best to dine somewhere else, sit in the upper level of the theater and enjoy a glass of wine and/or dessert during the concert. Oh, and one more thing about eating in the mezzanine, the beverages are served in plastic cups and the dinners are served in hard plastic containers...kind of a letdown ordering a $28 salmon and having it served in a plastic container. Go see a show but dine somewhere else on the way! 5 Stars for the venue, 2 stars for the restaurant.

Yelp
I'm going to give three stars provisionally because of two reasons: this was my first experience with the venue, and, after reading most of the reviews, realize that how you enjoy a place has a lot to do with how much you enjoyed the performers. I'm also going to review the Bistro and the Hall separately. The Bistro. I've eaten here before on road trips through western Connecticut. Very attractive, even suburban quality decor. I've found the waitstaff very pleasant, attentive and friendly. On my most recent visit, unfortunately, I was not so impressed with the food. I ordered the Rueben with a side of cole slaw. The Rueben was made with fairly fatty meat which made the sandwich soggy and drippy. The latter fluids drowned out the flavor of the French dressing and the sparse sauerkraut. The cole slaw was promising, with cabbage cut in larger pieces, but the dressing was a bit of a let down in the flavor department. The Hall. The Hall's interior is charming and nicely restored to harken back to its late 19th century origins. Our seats were in the second row, orchestra, but I believe others when they say there are no bad seats on the floor. So, here's where my provisional three stars comes in for the Hall. Since the performance I saw was a just Ok Holiday brass ensemble, I had perhaps too much time to notice the seating was pretty cramped and uncomfortable. The leg room reminded me of air travel dimensions, and-- despite the cushions-- the seats had comfort level that reminded me of my having to deal with the kneelers in the high Masses of my boyhood Catholic Church days. So, I would agree with those other reviewers who say the restaurant scenario on the balcony is the way to go. And now, Men in Black fashion, all you who read this will totally forget it as soon as you see the period at the end of this sentence. Hey, I want a clean shot at those seats.

Yelp
Amazing experience! A beautiful, scenic setting tucked away in the mountains, Infinity Hall was a great find for us! A well-deserved Friday night off brought Sergio and I up to Norfolk to see Trombone Shorty and his band, a native New Orleans musician that really gets funky. After receiving my tickets from will call, one of the ushers, came and offered to check our tickets in early, so we wouldn't have to wait in any lines later. She continued to tell us all about the hall, and where we could find bars and bathrooms, and was so so nice!! It has been a long time since I've gone to a venue that has that kind of personal touch, the people who worked there just seemed to love it. We had a small bite at the bar before the show, a couple of appetizers. I was worried because there was only 20 minutes until showtime when we ordered, but the food arrived and we devoured it with still enough time to see the opening number. The best part for me was when they offered us another round of drinks in plastic cups so that we could enjoy them during the show. Just like NOLA. Thank you Infinity Music Hall, we will DEFINITELY be back!!

Yelp
Everything a concert hall should be - small, intimate, excellent accoustics. A bit out of the way, but worth the drive. Time after time this venue has had acts put on classic performances.

Yelp
What a wondefful hall to see a concert. I've now been here twice & have sat down below in the orchestra as well as up in the balcony. My advice if you want an intimate feel with the performer sit down below, if you want to sit back & enjoy the music while sipping on a drink then sit upstairs. But wherever you sit you'll enjoy coming here.

Yelp
Not a fan of the food. We go for the concerts, and it is fine for that. However, in the concert area, if you order food, expect it to not be as good as if you got it in the main restaurant. It tends to get cold, as an example, on the way to you. We will never buy food there, and are not keen on their selection of beers.
