Great food with a very impressive variety on the menu. Lots of Thai, light seafood (Halibut burger) and classic American. The BBQ Pork exceeded expectations and the Burgers were great. We will 100% come back for lunch soon.

Loads of vegetarian and vegan options. We had the black bean burger and cashew nut dish with tofu. Nice selection of local beers. You order at the front window and pick up at the side window. Very friendly service.

Great little spot. The owner Inga is tremendous. So lovely and kind. I went there three days in a row and felt like family. O and the food is spot on! A nice Asian fusion and fresh fish. Highly recommend.

Amazing food! Fish amazing! Rice amazing! Thai tea also amazing! Burgers 🩵🩵 three times I have visited for food in my week stay and I just might need one more good meal from here before traveling on. Service was pretty quick even with a line and the burger was made to order. Definitely worth the stop.

One of the best places on the island! We’ve been there twice so far. They have a variety of menu options from sandwiches to authentic green curry. Outdoor seating and alcoholic beverages available. This is a great place for take out or “dine-in”. We will be back to try more!!

OUTSTANDING! The halibut salad is awesome, everything is fresh. Their spicy burgers is not just another burger. Everything has a unique flair.

Delish food. Was throughly impressed with the huge meal of Pad Thai. Will be coming back again every time I visit. The most difficult choice is deciding what thing to choose!

Awesome counter-service spot in downtown Petersburg! We spent the weekend down from Anchorage playing tourist, and Inga's was definitely a highlight! Mac bites were a tasty app and we ordered a spicy burger and the ahi bowl. Both were excellent and made to order. They also have a selection of draft beers which were awesome after a day of sightseeing and hiking! They have a fun courtyard-style layout which was great, even on a rainy afternoon. Highly recommend a stop here!

Wow. I definitely didn't expect this place to be this good. Let's start with the food. I ordered their special which was a BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. It came with a side of fries and was $16.00 a great price. I also ordered some Clam Chowder Soup I was craving it. This was $12.00. I took one bite of the clam chowder and was HOOKED. It's my preference to have clam chowder thick and meaty. It was exactly that. Came in a large cup and I could barely eat half. 5/5. The BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich.... WOW, I mean I can not stand Coleslaw so when I saw it on the sandwich I was turned off immediately. I am so glad I pushed through and took a bite because it was freaking amazing. The perfect combination of slaw and pulled pork. Soft grilled bun and cheese. I am beyond impressed. The fries are definitely home made and not my favorite but still good. I highly recommend this place. Now this place is set up to sit outside. They have an indoor tent but mostly tables with umbrellas and a couple high tops. Everything is served in to go boxes so you can chose to stay and eat or take it home. The weather way a mix of rain and sun so I opted to take it home. I however sat out at one of their tables and watched people walk the streets as I waited for my food. It was actually quite nice and the umbrella covered the table and chairs well enough to keep you dry. The food only took about 15-20 mins. I got there at a peak dinner time and it was still quick service. If you want, you can order a beer or glass of wine while you wait. This is a definite must stop while in Petersburg. I can't wait to come back.

Tucked away off Main Street Across from Viking Travel this establishment posses a wide variety of Asiatic and American Cuisinse . My personal favorites are the Halibut Burger and the Pad Thai although everything ln the menu is fresh and delicious .

Cute outdoor seating; fries were the best part of the meal. The fish of the fish and chips lacked any seasoning and was bland. The shrimp burger was piled with a mayo type sauce but had very few shrimp ( don't be deceived by the Pic they have posted by the menu). I'd probably go elsewhere next time.

Great find! We shared an order of pad Thai with tofu and it was delicious ( and enormous!). Such an interesting combination of menu items but this was all we had room for today. Recommend

My favorite place in Petersburg! The halibut tacos were amazing, so were all the Thai dishes. Depending on when you go, you may need to wait a while, but it's worth the time. Highly recommended.

I'm not sure why you are in Petersburg but I am sure that you need to eat here! We had halibut tacos that rival anything we have ever eaten in Southern California or south of the border. It's a tiny place with beer on tap and some fine canned craft brews, cider included. Nice patio dining, friendly service and reasonably priced.

Burgers, Beer, and...Thai? A true hidden gem in Petersburg! You know this place is unique when colorful photos of Thai food marks their place amongst typical bar fare of burgers, fish & chips, and chicken fingers. As luck would have it, the young ladies staffing the window were on break which allowed me to discover the secret of this standout operation: Thai Chef Wear Eide. I spent some quality time chatting with Chef Wear and watch her in action at the Galley, all the while smelling the intoxicating aroma of the stir-fry on the griddle. I ordered my standard go-to Thai dish - Pad Thai, to which Chef Wear boasted that she makes the sauce from scratch personally. Sold! My food came out quickly, piping hot. The Pad Thai was absolutely delicious! There was plenty of protein (standard tofu and scrambled eggs, I had the chicken option) and a ton of rice noodles. If I was not on the road away from home, I would have only eaten half and saved the rest for a hearty lunch the next day. $3 Thai Iced Tea! It was not watered down with ice, what a bargain!

Goff food and wide variety of dishes and prices. Outdoor but covered dining. Nice option for in town dining. Food cooked to order so it takes a little longer. Have a beer while you wait.

Great food, even better service. From seafood to burgers to authentic Thai, Inga's not only provides an excellent variety but also phenomenal taste and quality. The menu is full of fantastic dishes, however some great hits include: the pad Thai; fish and chips; rockfish salad and pork rib sandwich. In addition, the staff and the owners are exceptionally kind and helpful. Inga's Galley is definitely the place to eat in Petersburg.

Every place was closed at 7pm, but not Inga's. We stopped in and after trying different dishes between the four of us, the pork sandwich was by far the best. Tasty and filling. The fries were awesome and if you like Cider beer, they had one on tap that was very tasty. All in all, excellent dinner, quick and friendly service. Stop by and try if in Petersburg!

Inga's Gallery is a small, fenced in food truck diner that is next to the Scandia House Hotel in Petersburg Alaska. The servers never came out of their food truck in the 4 days we ate there while fishing in this little town but their service was cordial and nice never the less. We had many dishes at this establishment while we stayed in Petersburg and never had one where we said "that sucks". All entrees we bought were very good. Don't expect a Morton's Steakhouse here but that was the beauty in it. The food was great and the atmosphere unique. Some of the better food we ate was served from this place! Visited July 2016

Great menu, nice attitude :) Really cool place (on a sunny day). French fries are not so good , there is few more option I haven't checked but definitely can do better with different type of frise. Bottom line, good food great location .

I enjoyed all of the shrimp quesadilla with a nice glass of wine. I just wish they added guacamole with the sour cream and pico de gallo along with a bigger wine cup. This place is all outdoor seating with the exception of a tent just in case its windy and the weather calls for a-lot of rain. If your are in the down to treat yourself type of mood, this is the place to be.

Wonderful place. Great food. Had this shrimp taco. Delicious. The fries were a bit over cooked and soggy but I would recommend eating there. The porta potty was amazing

Great to fish tacos! And beer on tap. They are closed seasonally. July 15, 2014. Branched out from the fish tacos for lunch and tried Alaska curry with shrimp - had great flavor, but proportions were off, not a lot of protein for that amount of rice. Returned for dinner and tried the Baranof BBQ burger - pretty good, but probably wouldn't get it again, had quite a bit of sauce. Fries are super greasy, never been a fan of them here. Service was great! Great place to eat, think ill default back to the tacos.

We eagerly await the seasonal opening of Inga's! Love the salad with ginger scallion dressing and the burgers, especially the black bean burger. Yum. The seasoned fries are my kids' favorite.

Such good food!!!!!!!!! Great local caught halibut and cod, used in amazing sandwiches, tacos and fish and chips. Slightly slow service but the wait is far worth it! Amazing food. The are only a few good places to eat in Petersburg and this is one of them, if not the best. Highly recommend eating here. Did I mention they have great food?

Delicious curry, fish tacos and shrimp tacos! Fresh and yummy! Beer on tap. Was rainy but warm and toasty in their heated tent!

Inga's doesn't put on airs. Surprisingly great food and a no frills outdoor dining area. We ate there twice while in Petersburg and enjoyed everything: the Mitkof sandwich, the Thai curry, the fish tacos.

Love this no frills eatery! Can't recommend the curried shrimp (mine was perfectly balanced red curry) enough. Friendly staff, delicious food, beer on tap! Plus, rhubarb pie! Yum!!
