Inglewood City Hall

I was at City Hall today and had a bad experience with customer service. Her name is Maya. The lady was making fun of my name. I did not appreciate that. I have spoken to the supervisor about the situation before I left that lady gotta do a lot better being professional at work and not disrespecting your customers that paying for a parking permit in the city of Inglewood 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

The people that are driving around all day in those "Safety" SUV"s are completely useless ... I as a resident of INGLEWOOD for over 30 years and have 4 children that attend Morningside High and Centinela I have to say why even have this program or whatever you want to call it because the employees do absolutely nothing but drive around and collect a easy pay check .. I have been at Morningside High many times when incidents happen after school and guess what the safety mobile is just driving around cruising .... I drive around ING doing Uber all day so I see them just milking the clock driving around non school areas ..... These workers need to be retrained and be present... They are too comfortable.

We’re here for working permit.... before i was do this at anther city hall only take 20mins !done ! The slowest ever! Hungered times slower than DMV…. If u have choice dont come here …

You can only apply for a business license in person; you can’t do it online. I came here in the morning, and the process was very smooth. I was able to get a business license on the spot.

Frustrating but productive ... So many rules in this city that tend to lean towards the big business and not the resident owners. The lack of knowledge of DMV rules that allow for mailing addresses to be on the license in lieu of residence address restricts what I can do and what rights I have as a resident. It is very difficult to navigate the maze of financial politics. Business license was not updated because of probate restrictions. It took three months to get it thru the courts. Meanwhile letters were sent to the tenants stating they did not have to pay rent and we were told that we could not collect or evict . Meanwhile the tenant and kids Are using the property, power and water and creating havoc with the neighbors . And there is nothing I can do until I can get my attorney to go thru it all.. good times

Staff is helpful but the City of Champions is getting left behind. Building permits and Business license are done in person! Online Portal is only for information. 😑

I just called the City of Inglewood at 3:40 PM today, November 10th 2022 and was advised the city offices are closed. I stated that the website states the city is open until 5 PM. I suggest that you change your hours on the website so residents, tax paying I might add, will have the correct information. The young lady whom answered the phone simply said we are closed. I wanted the contact number of refuse to pick up old furniture on the curb. She asked someone and they said, call back on Monday. What kind of city management is this???????????????????????????
