Inhouse Hotel Grand Taichung

The hotel itself is really nice and room was spacious and very modern. Breakfast was also good. Unfortunately service is what knocks it down a lot. Really unfriendly front desk receptionists who don’t seem to enjoy their jobs, but would probably still come back since the room made it an enjoyable stay.

Positives: - value for money- huge room- nice decor - corner room - electronic curtains - Bluetooth speaker- comfortable bed and pillows- adequate shower pressure- lovely shampoo and body wash by local brand Negatives- water takes a while to heat up- room may be a little too dark for use (colour tone used and location of window)- breakfast choices limited. Taste average too

Very nice and spacious room, clean and nicely decorated. The shower gel and hand wash provided smell great! Breakfast is included. It is within walking distance (15 minutes) to 2 night markets. 30 minutes away from the HSR station. Bottle water and 2 cans of drink are complimentary during our stay.

I had a pleasant experience at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean and the service is top notch. I booked a taxi for an early morning flight with the front desk with no issues. Also, I forgot some clothes and the hotel was very gracious in assisting me in shipping my clothes back to my home. Would recommend! Next to a night market as well. I think only downside was a bit far from subway or bus stations, but if you have a car or rented a scooter will have no issues traveling.

Great hotel. New and clean. I just don't like the smell of the indoor water fountain they keep under the stairs it kind of smells like toilets in the entire lobby floor. I still give it 5 stars, but I hope they improve that.

I like the spacious room and the breakfast provided is delicious too. It’s my second stay here and I like the room lot. I hope they would change a better/ stronger hair dryer as it took too long time for my hair to dry after shower.

There's a lot that I like about this hotel. Our room was nice and large for the price. The decor in our room was beautiful, especially the wooden furniture. The toiletries by Cha Tzu Tang are the best! The location was great for us, being near or very near to useful bus lines. I would love to see more fresh fruit in the breakfast buffet. I would *really* like it if they have black coffee as an option in the room. (Inhouse Hotel Grand: If you're reading this, please can we have black coffee in the rooms that we can make for ourselves?)

Great stay at this hotel with my family. Nice spacious room and we love the whole vibe/ decor! Only downside was the pool is a bit cloudy. We would stay here again!
