We booked from 29 Oct to 4 Nov. Since our flight was a red eye one, we booked a day earlier so we could have proper rest. ||Location was just a few steps away from SM City. However, value for money was not met. ||Upon entry, we were welcomed by a very putrid smell. We tried to figure out where it was coming from to our horror, it was the grease trap area of the sink. ||We were about to settle in our beds when I saw a strand of eyelash and bed stain. ||To top it off, the WiFi was not working. ||We called the front desk to request for a room change since we are already tired and got zero sleep from the trip. They mentioned that WiFi will be checked as soon as IT staff is on duty. Available room will be ready 1PM of the 30th. So we agreed that the sheets be changed and they check the grease trap stat. ||Our rooms were changed around 2-3PM the next day since we fell asleep. Although we have noticed that the AC – at 18°C – was a bit noisy and has average cooling capacity only. ||The next room was a bit cleaner and lesser smell. Though, it was smaller, the AC unit have struggled to make the room coool. It would also turn off at certain times since the plug was not that fit on the socket. ||During the WiFi troubleshooting, the IT personnel mentioned that their routers were at Level 4 and that newer devices is at Level 6. As such, WE WERE NOT ABLE TO USE THE WIFI AT ALL. ||Shower does not have heaters. Tap and showers are obviously dated as well as the rooms. ||Poorly maintained wallpapers, AC units, bathroom, and tables. ||12F also reeks of Cigarette smell even with the No Smoking sign. ||I would never recommend this hotel. Thank goodness their staff are so accomodating!
