The location is very nice. We walked pretty much everywhere from the hotel. The room was quiet but somewhat small for two of us but the beds were comfy. The room can be quite dark (barely any light comes in) because the building is located between two tall buildings. The people at the front desk were very nice. We ate one breakfast at the hotel and it was disappointing. The hash browns were oily and hard. The omelette was not tasty. I ordered a side sausage. And (see the photo what you get for $4) it was the smallest sausage you can imagine.

Staff very friendly and room was very spacious. The bed was really comfortable and the location of the hotel was excellent. The only issue we really had was there was quite a lot of noise in the room during the night but think this was probably because our room was directly next to the lifts.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. It started when our bathroom in Room 1304 flooded, soaking the entire floor. We had to repack all our belongings, lug them downstairs (with no offer of help or an apology), and move. We were "upgraded" to Room 0415, which turned out to be a clear downgrade—a much smaller, open-plan room. We were lied to. But the worst part was the staff. We spoke to the person who identified herself as the manager. When we calmly explained why we were upset, she was curt, defensive, and as we were speaking, she literally rolled her eyes at us. Her only "solution" was to offer to move us again at 10 PM at night. She offered zero compensation for this entire ordeal. We were the ones who had to suggest a solution, at which point she gave us a single "free drink" voucher—the same one they give for skipping room cleaning. It was a complete insult. To top it all off, we sent a formal, detailed complaint email to management and have been completely ignored. No reply. They clearly do not care about their guests or take accountability for their failures. Do not stay here. The service is disrespectful, the management is non-existent, and the location isn't even that convenient.

We had such a relaxing stay here! The bed was super comfortable, the shower had great pressure, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great tips for places to visit nearby. The hotel’s location is ideal, close to trams and shopping areas. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Melbourne!

They put us in a very small room and awkwardly-shaped. The room didn’t smell well but we managed since we stayed for only two nights. The shower is great though. The staff is kind and helpful, breakfast is good and location is excellent.

The hotel's location offers significant convenience due to its proximity to various amenities. However, the guest experience could be enhanced by improving the concierge's customer service, as the initial interaction during check-in was perceived as less than welcoming. While the room was adequately presentable, its size, cleanliness, and the audibility of sounds from adjacent rooms were noted as drawbacks. Given these observations, a repeat booking was reconsidered.

The room was extremely small. It was mostly clean with a few hairs around the place that weren't mine. The design of the shower needed a lot more thought and I was constantly worried that the water would go out onto the carpet. You definitely would have to know the person you are travelling with very well as the toilet isn't separate. The only thing separating you from the bedroom is a single glass door. This will sound ridiculous to most but I also wasn't happy that there were no tissues in the room. As someone who has some sinus issues, tissues are quite important to me. I stay in hotels quite regularly and have done so many times over the years. This place looks really nice and is hip, if that is what you are looking for, but certainly wasn't my vibe.
