If it wasn't for the A/C problems , a higher rating would have been given. Purportedly , no rooms have individually controlled temperature settings. Our room was walk in freezer COLD ! It was a beautiful weekend with out door temperatures 71 to 81 while in our room it was 68 degrees. It being August, we did not pack our winter indoor clothing or down comforter. In all fairness , we were provided a portable heater for our second night . It was only marginally effective ,given it had no fan , providing only ambient heat. If you're a Eskimo, go for it ! If not , pack for winter, regardless of the time of year.

This is my 3rd stay here at the Inn (Manor House) and I will be back plenty more as it’s just perfect. Haven Harbor is so cute, comfortable, and inviting. The beds have all been so comfortable with great pillows. The rooms have everything you need: extra blankets, fan, first aid, body wash/shampoo and conditioner a mini fridge and cozy porch. The continental breakfast is always yummy with fresh baked breads and quiche. And the ground are so well maintained and gorgeous. The landscapers work hard to keep all the flowers thriving and pretty, it really makes it so welcoming. I love all the options for relaxation or fun: bikes, kayaks, hammock, pools, shuffleboard, grills, waterside rocking chairs, and more. And the natural beauty is great. Being right on the water is wonderful and the sunsets and colors over the marina at night are breathtaking. It truly is a little haven and I look forward to my trip each year. Rock Hall is great also, I always enjoy my meals at the Harbor Shack, Blue Heron, and shopping in town at the little shops. Don’t miss out on a sailing charter through Blue Crab, and a relaxing beach sunset at the park. Great spot for a family, couple, or a solo traveler like myself who enjoys a scenic getaway.

I had a wonderful day at the Inn at Haven Harbor. The grounds are beautiful, the view is the view is picturesque and my room was lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The common area was spacious and contained a huge TV. It would be the perfect spot for a family or a group of friends to gather. I cannot comment on the continental breakfast because it isn’t offered when occupancy is low. I received a voucher for a coffee shop that served breakfast sandwiches. the fitness center is about a quarter mile from Manor house. There were six accessible outlets in my room so an extension cord is necessary if more than one person is occupying a room.| Ray was an excellent host. He helped carry my luggage up the steep steps and he adjusted the thermostat for me. The air conditioning is not individually controlled.|I will definitely return to the Inn .

The staff and accommodations were just great. Each of the rooms had a nautical theme and were very picturesque. The rooms had all of the amenities a person could want and we loved the atmosphere of the complex and the surrounding community. From the playground nearby, to the free bicycles that were available, to the porch rockers and swings and most importantly to the harbor view there were so many things to do for young and old. I definitely plan to come back.

Perfect. Very friendly and accommodating staff, room was impeccably clean with jaw dropping view of the water and grounds. Great location near several great restaurants and the marina. Bikes available for a short ride around Rock Hall. We can’t wait for our return visit. A big thanks to staff!

My wife and I spent a lovely weekend here. We stayed at the Manor House in a room with a small screened-in balcony with a nice view of the water. The room was clean, had a lot of space, and had a nice jetted tub. The breakfast was excellent -- they had some really good options for a continental breakfast, including some hot items. We also got to enjoy the pool -- it was a short walk to the pool, with some options for shade. We saw people headed to town, including some who rode in on the bikes provided by the inn; we decided to walk around the property and have a quieter weekend. We also ate at the Passages bar and the Ark & Dove restaurant - both were good. We enjoyed our stay and would return!

The Inn at Haven Harbour was the perfect spot for a solo mini vacation. I stayed in the Manor House with a beautiful view of Swan Creek and the marina off the Quarterdeck room balcony. Sunsets were visible from that spot and even better from the dock that stretched into the creek. Be prepared to see lots of ospreys, herons, and other marsh critters. It is truly a haven for nature enthusiasts and water lovers.||The room overall was spacious and well appointed with mini fridge, TV, dresser, and ample closet space for storing and hanging clothes. The king size bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get out of it! The attached bathroom was perfect with a separate spa tub and stand alone shower. Botanical body wash, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner were supplied which was a nice touch. ||Breakfast served in a cozy great room with indoor and outdoor seating was a nice way to start the day. Take advantage of the pool, kayaks, and bicycles! Grounds and pool area are nicely landscaped with adirondack chairs, fire pits, rocking chairs and gazebos gracing the property. The Inn is convenient to local restaurants, dock bars, harbor, and beach. Everything is a short bike or car ride away. This was my first visit to Rock Hall. I will surely be back for another stay at Haven Harbour.

We stayed in the Transom room and enjoyed the beautiful view and jetted tub. Took the bikes to the little beach every day and into town. Tried taking the kayaks out, but they had tons of spiders in them. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Yelp
The Inn at Haven Harbour offers nice rooms and suites. I've stayed there 3 times (single, double and suite) and each time, I've found it to be extraordinary. The rooms are clean and quiet. Bedding and baths are clean. No odors and no evidence of a previous stay. The grounds are really nice -- offering views of Haven Harbour Swann Creek and their Marina. What's really nice is the accommodations are far enough away from the Marina that you can't hear any boats or machinery -- just an occasional seagull and maybe some geese. They also have firepits, gazebos and bicycles as well as walking paths -- very nice. The rooms come with a "continental" breakfast including toasts, muffins, juices, coffees, cereals, yogurts, etc with a buffet style hot plate - differing from day to day - sometimes sausage, quiches, or scrambled eggs. You can tell these dishes are locally prepared as they are delicious without any signs of mass processed food. This extra - in my opinion - makes Haven Harbour's hospitality quite notable. The staff can't do enough to help. They are kind and a pleasure to work with. And, there's not a lot of hustle and bustle by staff members -- it's really quite quiet and very nice. They absolutely respect your choice to stay with them.

Yelp
Haven Harbour Marina resorts in Rock Hall includes a charming Chesapeake Bay-style inn with a view of Swan Creek. There are five buildings with 19 guest rooms and suites. A complementary continental breakfast is included. Average room rates are $180 a nite. No minimum stay is required. Depending on the season amenities are: two swimming pools, kayaks, paddle boarding, bicycles and a fitness center. There is a public beach 1/4 mi down the road. If you go, there isn't a lot to do in the area. It's mainly for R & R. A quaint getaway.

Yelp
Fantastic place. Spent a long weekend here off-season (late autumn), we will definitely be back. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed for the season so we enjoyed the hotel accommodations. We switched from the Forecastle room to the Transom room and both were great. Both rooms are comfortable king size beds and Jacuzzi. The nearby town of Rock Hall is home to my favorite music venue in the Eastern Shore region, The Mainstay. It's good to know that there's an option for such a nice place to stay when I enjoy a night there, or just a nice quiet getaway from home (I live nearby). This peaceful marina outside the main little town is a great place for quiet evening walks, bicycle rides using one of the hotels bikes, or just a peaceful getaway for some quiet time. Simple but adequate selections for breakfast included an egg dish made with asparagus--keeping Sriracha sauce onhand is a nice touch-- along with decent coffee, granola, fruit and other basics. I would've given five stars but there were a few missing touches worth noting. One puzzling thing was, there was absolutely no staff available on the premises, not a single person seen here except for cleaning staff in the morning. But this could be due to the fact that this is a holiday weekend and staff people are simply not available, so that's a non-issue. Honestly, I didn't mind having the solitude at night, but at some point it would've been good just to meet and greet somebody working here. The rooms are really nice and beautiful kept, although the shower faucet in the Forecastle room basically offered extremely hot or lukewarm, it was tricky to get the right temperature. Some adjustment or replacement needed. Again, a minor point but I noticed it. On the other hand, Jacuzzi is really nice and beautifully maintained/cleaned. Also missing for me are just a few little luxury touches. Wife noticed no hairdryer in Forecastle room. There are no cups or glasses in the rooms, and maybe some other little touches, like robes or additional comforter in the closet would be nice--though I do understand the serious need to cut down on wasteful, excessive laundry service in hotels as an environmental consideration--but overall, the experience was really enjoyable, and the off-season rates are fantastic here. Make sure to book rooms directly through the hotel if it all possible--one may end up getting ripped off if using a booking website/third-party service for booking.

Yelp
Who knew this cove-type town had a GREAT inn and activity center? We stayed at the Manor House in the Gangway and Gunwale. My uncle and aunt stayed at the Boat House in the Winifred. Granted, the room was small, but had a very nice view of the balcony and the street sign and a comfy bed. The room was clean and well-kept. The marina area has a bunch of activities. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable and friendly too!

Yelp
We recently booked 5 rooms at the Inn at Haven Harbor for our group's winter get away. Every room was beautifully decorated with lots of comfort and luxury included. Some had coffee makers for those early risers, some had soaking tubs or private balconies facing the bay. Rock Hall has the most beautiful sunsets which can be seen from the spacious gathering and eating area as well as most rooms. The kitchen was down because of some flood repair so their usual buffet breakfast was replaced with a generous voucher at a nearby coffee shop, Java Rock, which accommodated our large group very graciously. The Inn is a fabulous retreat all year round with included water activities in the summer and Rock Hall has a warm and inviting vibe even in the winter with it's great restaurants, boutique shops, unique book store and more!

Yelp
We just had a really great stay here this past weekend during a family member's wedding on the property. From the time we checked in until the time we left, we really enjoyed being here and having the ability to all be together as a family in the various houses on the property. Top-notch accommodations and people make this a destination that I would highly recommend. A true gem in this area!

Yelp
Just spent a wonderful relaxing weekend here. We enjoyed the waterfront fire pits, the pool, the free kayaks, and the beach cruiser bikes. I have a dietary restriction, and the kitchen even adjusted their continental breakfast to make a delicious accommodation for me. Great service!

Yelp
Our family of six stayed in the Captain's Quarters and Stateroom in the Cottage and it was great! It's very well appointed and has all the amenities you would expect ... and more. The back deck and balcony have a great view of The Haven, and we spent some time soaking in the views out on the property's gazebo. We had fun making s'mores at the firepit using the included s'mores gift basket and the complimentary firewood. The kayaks, paddleboards, and bicycles provided some great leisure time as well. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked nice. The morning breakfasts were great as well. We will definitely try and stay here again the next time we come to Rock Hall.

Yelp
Jenny and staff couldn't be nicer. Accommodations clean. Great location. Would recommend a refresh on "soft goods" like couches and soft chairs... some have been well used by guests. Weird restaurant doesn't have its own phone line... when marina office closes, I guess so too does any hope of placing an advance order to bring back to your room. Still, overall, friendly, clean, comfortable... don't hesitate to opt for these great accommodations!

Yelp
Firstly, the B&B is called Haven Harbour not Heaven Harbour and yes they use the British spelling of Harbour. Stayed in the Forecastle room. In spite of the minor construction next door the room is in my opinion the best one of them all. Screened-in balcony, ceiling fan, jetted spa tub, cozy linens and a firm but comfortable king size mattress. The room is lovely, well appointed, extremely clean and perfect in all ways. The hospitality of Dottie and the staff was greatly appreciated. There is hot fresh coffee, water and common area amenities available at all times. The area of the building which comprised my room was originally built in 1879 but has been remodeled to a very modern feel but not by sacrificing the original charm. Was given a list of breakfast items to choose from for the first morning and it was prepared on time and to order. Well done. All in all was very impressed with the location of the unit on the Haven inlet of the Chesapeake Bay.

Yelp
Who knew this cove-type town had a GREAT inn and activity center??? We stayed at the Manor House in the Afterdeck room. Granted, the room was small, but had a very nice view of the dock/harbor and a comfy bed. The room was clean and well-kept. The marina area has a bunch of activities, from kayaking and biking (which were free!) to cornhole and even a small twilight hike. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. We will be coming back!

Yelp
We have stayed at Haven Harbour Inn a few days each summer for the past 7 years. Through the years there have been some changes that are different, not bad and not good, but different. We stayed 2 nights and there was no housekeeping. I think in the past they used to make up the beds each day but maybe I'm mistaken . The lawn and landscaping have improved over the years. There is a fire pit and some nice chairs to sit out in the lawn. We checked in at the office (a bit early) and they didn't seem to know what to do. In prior years were told to take a bike and they would call us when the room was ready. I asked if they could do the same and was told yes, but I didn't receive a call. And this year the bikes no longer have locks. This made it easy to jump on a bike and see the town, but we parked bikes by the pool one Friday afternoon and someone took them for themselves. Not a problem because you can't 'reserve' a bike. However, all the bikes were gone. That required us to walk back to the Inn. The rooms in the Inn haven't changed over the years. There AC units have been upgraded a few years back but the remote to control the AC unit was gone this year and the room was a but stuffy at night. Breakfast is provided and is very good. I think it was better that in past years. And Passages (the marina bar) had limited hours in the past and this seems to be even more limited this year. We went there around 8pm on Friday and there was no food. Bar tender(s) were very young but friendly. Drinks were good. We will most likely stay there again next year.

Yelp
We went to Rock Hall specifically for an event but much to our delight the inn was as charming as the event a short distance away. Our room was small but had everything we needed and we knew we would spend very little time there. It was exceptionally clean. Staff were eastern shore friendly. Breakfast was enjoyable but it would have been helpful to have a staffer around to clean the tables between diners and also to empty the overflowing trash can. Next time we will build time in to enjoy this lovely inn.

Yelp
Beautiful, quiet, comfortable hotel. LOVED the screened in porch and large bathtub.

Yelp
Ill explain why its 3 stars and not 5, 3 stars is for the house cleaning, the first day, it was done, the next 2 days wasnt. For the amount of money we paid for 3 nights in the STATEROOM SUITE, you bet I was expecting it to properly be made everyday like they said it would. 2nd day, they only did the masters bed and gave towels, 3rd day, they didnt come at all and I had to call in for more towels, the management person I spoked with apologized that the house keeper should of came, Im not buying it, its not like you are managing a 100 rooms, you are literally in charge of maybe atleast under 15 rooms? Anyways, they dont do dishes, shower or anything, just the bed, replace towels and curtains? Even my hotel stays at other places have better house keeping and they do EVERYTHING! Def will never pay to stay there again, waste of my money! We will be renting an apartment or condo next time! Dont get me wrong, The Cottage was very very nice and modern but dont have something you cant keep up with!

Marie W.

Yelp
We stayed at the Captains Quarters. This is a lovely place , with a lovely view and the staff could not be more helpful. I highly recommend this Inn.

Gladys M.

Yelp
An absolute gem. We stayed in the Captains Quarters in the cottage. We enjoyed everything about this location -'the view, the nicely appointed rooms, and the hospitality from the staff. We will definitely stay here again.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Wish I could give more stars! This place was great - we got into the harbor late because it took longer to get here than anticipated. The staff was gracious and accommodating. I couldn't recommend staying here more!
