We had an excellent stay here in early August. The office and a few units are located at the primary address listed, and about half a block down the street are the remaining units—I’d estimate around a dozen or so. It’s not complicated. Check-in at the main office was easy: you get your key and they tell you which cottage you’re in.||We found the parking tight but manageable. You receive a parking pass for your vehicle, which helps ensure that only guests use the designated spots.||We stayed in Cottage #12 (a queen spa suite with full kitchen), It had one shared wall with the housekeeping/linen space, so there were no guests on that side. On the other side, there was no shared wall either—just a walk-through corridor with an outdoor bin of beach toys for kids.||The cottage was very clean, and the staff was kind and helpful. For example, we chose not to have our room serviced during our stay, but each morning they greeted us and offered fresh towels, garbage removal and asked if we needed anything like more coffee pods.||I appreciated the small details too, like the recycling bins behind the units—they clearly care about being environmentally conscious.||I would rate our stay as a five-star experience, though I could see how some might deduct a star for things like chipped grout around the tub or, in our case, a non-operational fireplace. I would have been disappointed if that was something that we were counting on and frankly, I think they should have mentioned it when we checked in and got our cottage assignment. They simply had a nonfunctional note posted on the front of the fireplace.||One of the best aspects of this place is its location—just off the main street, about halfway between downtown and Midtown. It’s an easy walk in either direction for food, shops, and more. The beach is literally a block or so away, with very easy access. Morning walks on the wide, packed-sand beach were mild and beautiful.||The kitchen was fully stocked with essentials: wooden spoons, silverware, plates, bowls, a can opener, and even a potato peeler. It also had a full-size refrigerator, ice bucket, and pitcher. Salt and pepper were provided, but no other spices. There was a full-size range and cookware, a table with four chairs in the kitchen area, and a pull-down bed. When the bed is folded up, the space feels quite open and easy to move around.||The bed was very comfortable. There was a small open closet with hangers and complimentary robes.||We would definitely stay here again. It was quiet, even though it’s close to the main street. In fact, the most noise we heard was on the first night, when a family in the courtyard made s’mores with their young kids until about 10 p.m. Otherwise, it was very peaceful.||I also liked that the windows had both blackout shades and sheer curtains, so you could choose whether to block the light or let it in.
