Inn at Lost Creek

The staff at the Inn At Lost Creek has always been over the top helpful. The Ski valets, bellmen, and front desk staff were always courteous and friendly. Special shout out to Eric at the bell desk who is always so helpful with luggage, O2 breathing treatments , and even picked me up from the Telluride airport. He’s a rockstar! Also a special thanks to Laura the front desk General manager, who is always willing to do everything she can to make your stay perfect. We love the Inn At Lost Creek!!

The Lost Creek Inn is a wonderful hotel in Mountain Village. It is ski in / ski out, includes a delicious breakfast buffet each morning, and has very friendly and welcoming staff. This hotel is walkable to everything in Mountain Village, and to the gondola to Telluride. The location is perfect. The fruit water and cookies in the evening, and the cozy fire in the lobby during winter are charming. The rooms are spacious and feel like a mountain lodge. It is a great place to stay!

Our stay at The Inn at Lost Creek in Telluride Mountain Village was and absolutely perfect 5 star hotel experience! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and has everything you’d want for a mountain getaway. We especially loved being able to reserve the private rooftop hot tubs, the views are unbeatable! They have the best location, steps away from the gondola and ski lifts. And I have to mention Eric Whyte at the front desk who made our stay even better with his friendly service and amazing local recommendations. The whole front desk team was wonderful we’ll definitely be back! I also highly recommend getting dinner at Siam Talay located in the lobby of the inn at lost creek, it was some of the best Thai food I've ever had!

I’ve stayed in other comparable hotels in other ski towns but this has been the best. Awesome service all around. Ski valet was so convenient. The best ski in ski out location in Telluride. Literally can ski to either lift right out the door. Included buffet breakfast was awesome! No other place offers that! Every detail thought out. Room had everything: washer and dryer, steam shower, fireplace, comfortable bedding. Housekeeping went above and beyond.

I loved this boutique hotel. It's true that the customer service is excellent. Everyone who worked at the hotel was genuinely nice and could not do enough to make my trip a success. My dog, Jasper, was welcome and he enjoyed sitting by the balcony watching the gondolas slide by. The room was perfect for us. The kitchen was equipped very well with everything I needed. I had been on the road with Jasper for two weeks and it was a needed respite for us both. The bed was super comfortable and the sheets and bedding were superb. I loved the steam shower! The daily breakfasts were delicious, very creative and good. Our stay there was perfect and I appreciate the hospitality very much.

Great location (ski in/out), great views, love the facilities and the staff is amazing. Our room was well appointed with multiple tvs, a fireplace, kitchen and balcony overlooking the village. The breakfast was delicious; fresh fruit, steel cut Oatmeal and eggs, etc. we had access to its sister property’s gym; huge! Great stay overall.

Exceptional service, every staff member was so incredibly kind and personable. Huge shoutout to Eric and Jake who gave us some awesome hiking recommendations. We could not believe that breakfast was included, I think this is the only hotel in Telluride that does that! Truly no better place to stay, just a short walk to the gondola and with the best service and beautiful rooms... I'm not sure why you would stay anywhere else. And they're dog friendly on top of it! We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel in Telluride. Breakfast included made our stay so convenient. The location was great! Easy access to restaurants and amenities, including the gondola.||What truly set our stay apart was the warm and friendly staff. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived up until our last day departing. And a special shout-out to Eric W, who made our dog feel like a VIP. :) Thx!||Can't wait to revisit next year!

Some of the best hospitality in the business. Beyond friendly staff, remember you by name, always conversational, intuitive and helpful. We've been here in the Summer and Winter. A+

Location is unbeatable. The ski valet is stellar; Carmine in particular. He remembers your names, boots come out to you nice and dry every morning, skis are out on the racks, you miss no ski time as a result of communications or service issues. Communications with the property can be quite difficult if you are not on site; i.e. trying to tinker with a reservation or correct a billing issue after check-out. The breakfast buffet is average. It has the staples you probably want, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, coffee, but not much else. I'd love some smoked salmon or similar. The restaurant it turns into at night time is actually quite good; enough that I hit it at least once each stay rather than venturing down to the town. Access to the town is similarly easy. Walk down a hill to the gondola and you can ride it to/from town until midnight or later depending on the day of the week. The rooms are typically good, but can have some things to nit pick. For example, did a junior suite this time. This upgrade from a regular room sacrifices the balcony, which I liked sitting on. The step-out balcony is just large enough for a human to step out onto, and unfortunately is connected to and shared with the room next door, so now you have to worry about locking the balcony door or deciding when to open it. My room had a humidifier apparatus in the closet, which didn't work. I realized the water was shut off to it, opened the valve, and it began spraying everywhere, so that explains why it was shut off and broken. The junior suite furniture is also odd; just a few drawers to put clothes in, so we just kept our stuff mostly in suitcases.

I am in love with The Inn at Lost Creek! Great location! Their entire staff is so friendly and helpful!! Their free amenties are great- wine/beer/hot chocolate Friday nights, access to the Peaks Spa's wet areas, chair massages and oxygen infusions Sunday nights, a really nice breakfast buffet each morning, and a very attentive valet. Even their housekeepers are fantastic- always providing above-average service and turndowns at night. This place should be charging more then they are!

Our favorite hotel in the Mountain Village- we have been there a few times before and will keep going back. Great location, ski in and out, nice rooms and friendly staff. The staff go out of their way to make sure things are right for you stay.

We've been here 4 or 5 times now & every one has been top shelf. The staff is always on point. Even a turn down service w bath salts & chocolates. The breakfast is pretty good for a hotel & included. Rooms are spacious. Location is amazing. We will be back again soon.

Amazing hotel. A few things I always look for when booking a hotel is a kitchenette and free breakfast. Inn at Lost Creek had complimentary made-to-order breakfast served at their restaurant located on the first floor. Service was great and the food was enough for us. Cereal, pancakes or eggs for the kids, and options like French toast, yogurt and granola, and eggs with sausage or bacon. Top notch service. The room was fantastic--fully stocked kitchen (as in dishes, coffee maker, glasses, coffee, fridge, stove top). Complimentary water and locally made coffee. The biggest plus was the washer and dryer in the room--super helpful and convenient for us! Service in general was five stars, best we've ever had. I would definitely stay here again.

An absolutely fantastic hotel in Mountain Village/Telluride area! My boyfriend and I were attending a destination wedding at San Sophia Peak and decided on The Inn at Lost Creek because it seemed the most all-inclusive with free breakfast, waters, a small kitchenette in your room, and overall had excellent ratings. Man oh man were we blown away by the customer service, amenities, cleanliness, and the delicious breakfast, which we ate every day on the patio right outside the cafe. We enjoyed watching the gondolas pass overhead while we ate and enjoyed the delicious hot food. On top of amazing service, they also give you free chapstick/sunscreen and are very accommodating to any/all requests. For example, I was worried about having altitude sickness being from MA and they reassured me that if I felt sick they could order oxygen and have it brought to my room for a charge. Luckily, I didn't end up needing it. Out of all of the people we heard staying in Mountain Village/Telluride, our hotel had the most included and for the best rate. The location was in the middle of everything: 5 min walk to bars/restaurants, lots of trails you can take for morning walks, and 5 min walk to the gondolas. Parking at the hotel is a required $20/day valet--but is comparable to every other hotel nearby so just prepare for that. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone/everyone staying in the MV/Telluride area!!! Random tip: If you aren't from CO make sure you ramp up your vitamin C a week before you travel, and drink TONS (I mean like a whale) of water. I promise you'll thank me for doing so.

We love staying here. The service is great. It is ski in and ski out. A full breakfast everyone morning and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

The Inn is a wonderful place to stay..the location is convenient to the main gondola to Telluride. The hotel staff is friendly and so helpful. Breakfast on the patio was wonderful and so was soaking in the hot tub at night. We had a wonderful stay here in Mountain Village.

I love this ski in/out hotel. So convenience. It's located right in front of the gondolas . Christy's rental place is right below them . Hotel staff are so amazing . They didn't serve hot breakfast due to covid and offered to pick up our breakfast nearby. That was so nice. All hotel staff are so helpful. Service was top notch . The room was very nice and hotel is very well kept . Definitely will come back here next time I am in telluride.

Customer service at its finest... I have never witnessed such genuine, happy-to-help people. When checking out, two ladies came off the elevator and casually said they were going for a walk to check out the shops, the staff's immediate reaction was to offer bottles of water for them to take. And these aren't generic tiny bottles. The staff also helped us out by giving us a massive ban of ice to replace the leading one we had... and we didn't even ask! We unfortunately had to leave town early and miss the Blues & Brews fest but Samuel went out of his way to help us find buyers so the tickets weren't a complete loss. It was really unexpected and impressive with his follow-up... I left my Nalgene bottle in the lobby and it was brought out to me as we loaded up the car. I would have been so sad to realize that after we left! Seriously, this staff goes above and beyond. The rooms, well, I can only speak to the "studio" which is cozy but not cramped. Queen bed, sitting area, bathroom with dual sinks, a steam shower (absolutely lovely) and jetted tub, balcony, fireplace, and kitchenette. If booked far enough in advance, it's a great price, but as with any hotel, the closer you get to the date you want to book the more expensive it gets. Complementary breakfast is a buffet in the adjoining restaurant and it's a good spread, even if the eggs were a little odd... the French toast was delicious and so was the bacon. Broccoli hash, potato hash, pastries, coffee, tea, juice, cereal... many offerings to fit a variety of pallets. The property is located nice and close to the gondola that takes you into town. And yes, there's a mandatory valet at $20/day but you have in/out privileges, it's a heated garage, and if you leave anything in your vehicle they will escort you down to retrieve it. I really wish we could have stayed longer & honestly can't wait to return!

First time staying here! Will certainly not be the last. They have thought of EVERYTHING! P.S. THE LOCATION IS SUPER CONVENIENT! Right next to the gondola and village! You can walk everywhere without moving your car. We paid a parking fee $20/night. Worth it. In the lobby there's complimentary sunscreen, chapstick, cookies, water and if it rains, umbrellas to borrow. That's just the beginning...We brought our German Shepherd. She was welcomed by happy staff with a treat. We received a room upgrade! Room had a bag with four dog treats, a mini flashlight to connect to our dog's collar for night bathroom breaks/walks, dog bed and dog bowl. Also included were a couple of chocolates by the bed along with lotion specifically for feet, toothpaste, soap bar specifically for face, makeup removers, Q-Tips, hairnet... I know I'm missing items. Towels were plentiful, room kitchen had every utensil needed, PLENTY of storage space for clothing and bags. Washer and dryer! Shower steamer and jacuzzi. Breakfast included! Staff was beyond welcoming and friendly. They were willing to accomodate in any way. Awesome people and a beautiful experience.

We absolutely loved this place. The staff, particularly Samuel and Bret at the front desk always kind and accommodating. They both contributed to the fun we had! Peter was always there to help with anything we wanted or needed and Dave in the ski valet was also so helpful. Steve served us in the bar and had a friendly disposition too. The place was clean, food was good, the room had all we could have asked for. Turn down service was provided, maid service kind and courteous. Cookies by the entry door, games in the lounge, great hot tubs up on the roof. View from room was amazing. Loved the ski in and ski out, literally our room was across from the Chondola. Spa tubs and steam showers in your room also. Proximity to all the shops and towns is perfect from this lodge. Dan Green was manager on duty and he and his staff really knows how to take care of their guest. Concierge, at the request if my husband took care of flowers, box of chocolates and champagne upon arrival. It all went over without a hitch! Thanks to you all!

My boyfriend, our fur baby & I visited for the first time just last week. Being greeted outside at our car door by Matt (Front Desk Manager) was how our experience started. Everyone on their staff seemed to LOVE their job & to genuinely enjoy conversation with all their guests. They spoiled our fur baby with a dog bed, food/water bowls, a goodie bag with treats & a welcome note ... PLUS a whole lot of love at the lobby EVERYTIME :) btw, they offered that if we needed to call while we were out, they would take her out for us!! Breakfast every morning... nothing to complain about! It was fantastic! Location -- PERFECT !!! I wouldnt of wanted to stay in downtown Telluride so being right next to the Gondola (free & allows dogs!!) is the most incredible location. Sure we were only supposed to stay 3 nights that we had already booked but we LOVED it so much...we stayed another :) Matt took the time to show us other rooms to accommodate more friends in the future & this place will for sure be the only place that we stay at when we come out once a year now!!! Thank you Matt & Team!!

Well, I could go on and on about this place but my fingers would be tired typing the review. Every single person who works here makes you feel as if you are their priority and the only guest. Yes, there is a washer and dryer, and provided bottled water every day you stay but it is also the extras like Tide and Bounce in case you do need to do laundry. Don't get me started on how they pamper your dog! Their own bed with a welcome container with cookies, bags and a tiny flashlight in case you need to walk your special friend after dark. Breakfast is excellent and included in the room charge, cookies starting mid afternoon. Whatever you may need, they will do their best to provide at no charge. Our stay just started and will be here for 5 nights and already am dreading checking out of this place. Hint- if you reserve a junior suite, ask for room 607. Has a full balcony, not just a Juliet.

This place was amazing! The price of our stay was great and we got an upgrade to a suite which was a wonderful surprise. They are dog friendly meaning the entire staff pet my dog, gave him treats, and sincerely enjoyed his energetic personality. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the view from their outside patio was a great way to start our day. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it by another night! The central location to the gondolas in mountain village made it east to go to the store or head into town whenever we wanted. We WILL be coming back and already planning a trip with my extended family so we can all enjoy Telluride.

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. The amenities and service are beyond amazing! The entire staff never misses an opportunity to make sure your stay is the best it can be. The location is perfect, the views inspiring, and surroundings peaceful- very quiet nights for great sleep. Very convenient to Telluride and surrounding area via the free gondolas- in fact, we never even thought about our car, which we had valet parked when we arrived, for nearly four days! And $20 a night to know your vehicle is secure and safely parked while visiting an unfamiliar area is fine with me. I feel I could write a novel about all the 'wows' we encountered during our stay here- the presentation of the room, the awesome staff, the service. Never have we felt so welcomed by such happy employees! Enough. You'll have to book a stay at The Inn to feel what words can't describe. Our hotel of choice whenever we have the chance to visit this area again.

Stay was great staff was really wonderful . Breakfast was pretty decent , valet is not horrendous at 20.00 but just be prepared for it . All in all the hotel and stay was really great . I'm not sure I love the room set up in that it felt very cramped . I did like that it was close to everything and very reasonably priced .

Our trip started off not so great because we were 20 miles away due to an avalanche. We ended up having to drive an additional 2.5 hours to get to the resort for a 2 day trip. It ended up being a 1.5 day trip. Because of the OUTSTANDING service from EVERY employee, including the manager, it ended up being a truly magical experience. Each employee seemed to act like my own personal concierge, offering to help me in any way. We needed a cake for my kids birthday party and offered to go to the Village store to pick one up, including candles. The store mentioned that the cake was older and would prefer not to sell it, Garrett called me to offer a few other suggestions. He really took care that my kids could have a yummy cake. They have room service, but also offered to pick up from any restaurant in the Village. They went above and beyond everywhere I turned. Without any doubt we will be returning. In addition they have a ski valet to bring your skis in and out every morning and night. They are perfectly situated mid-mountain with easy access to the Gondola and 2 lifts. Thank you for helping make it one of the most wonderful trips I've ever taken which made it seem like a week long vacation that really only lasted 1.5 days.

We had an incredible time here! The service from start to finish was impeccable! Our bellman, Garrett was extremely patient with us unloading our car with two wound up dogs. He even held their leashes and entertained them while we organized. Abby, at check in, was super sweet and informative! She even offered to have someone walk our dogs while we were out that night! The room was GORGEOUS! Very modern log cabin feel. There was a small reception in the lobby on our second night with complimentary drinks and apps, where we got to meet the GM, Johnathon. He made us feel welcomed at the hotel and was so nice! Even our breakfast server, Jen, was awesome! I forgot that we had to go to the front desk to get our breakfast vouchers before breakfast, but she was so sweet and insisted that she would go get them for us. Also, if you didn't catch that, breakfast is included in your stay!! Who does that anymore?? It was delicious, too. I seriously can't get over how kind and accommodating the staff was. After a long day of skiing we stopped at the market just down the street from the hotel for supplies. The hotel staff offered to pick us up if we ever needed a ride, so Garrett came to get us in the hotel car. He could tell I was tired and asked if he could return my ski and boot rentals for me! It was EXACTLY what I needed right then! I haven't experienced this kind of consistent service in a long time. I would highly recommend staying at the Inn at Lost Creek!

We stayed here 1 evening in June 2017. The service from the staff was outstanding - some of the best we have ever had. Paul really went above and beyond for our family. The location is perfect - right next to the free gondola that takes you into Telluride. If you get a chance, book the private rooftop hot tub for an hour near sunset. The breakfast in the morning has a great selection and is very fresh. The only improvement needed is the wi-fi. The speed is about 3mbps download speed which I expected to be better at such a nice place. If we ever visit Telluride again we would for sure stay here again.

Ski in ski out, you can take the gondola to town which is right there next to the hotel, and rooms are nice. Everything was very nice when we were there. Planning on staying again.

This may have been the most wonderful hotel experience I have ever had. My husband and I booked a night here last minute, because we were chasing the snow so hadn't made arrangements to board our dog, and we needed a place that would accommodate her. They did that and more: they walked her while we were out skiing and showered her with treats and attention, making us feel much better about leaving her while we were out for the day. The breakfast was great, the room had everything you might need and more (including a bottle of wine, fruit, mineral water, coffee with half & half, bathrobes), the private rooftop hot tub was amazing, and the staff were genuine, helpful and friendly. The only problem is, now we will never want to stay anywhere else!

My wife and I stayed in a junior suite for two nights for a friends wedding. The room was nice with separate sitting area, TV, gas fireplace, there was a small kitchenette area with a Keurig machine for coffee. The bathroom had a huge tub, dual sinks and a nice shower. The bed was a queen size with yet another small TV in that space. This room had a small balcony with a table and two chairs for enjoying the mountain air. The staff works really hard to make sure everything is taken care of for you. I typically do not care for that amount of attention but for those that want to feel special - they do what they can. My two negatives would be the 'forced' valet parking at $20 a day, and the almost nonexistent wifi in the rooms.

We spent a long weekend, along with our two Black Lab puppies, at the Inn at Lost Creek - which set the bar incredibly high for any other resort! From the first email communication to a dog bed and treats for our 4-month old puppies, we had an exceptional stay. Our suite had a steam shower along with a jetted tub, a fireplace, 2 balconies - and bowls and bags of organic treats for our puppies! Breathtaking views of the sunset from a private hot tub - all in all, a wonderful getaway! We took the gondola to town (that's the public transportation), and hiked along the river for an afternoon. Matt and his service team provide unparalleled, personalized guest service, including a bottle of wine and a washer/dryer in the unit - and we'll most definitely be back!

We stayed here for two nights for the Telluride Blue Grass Festival. The service was fantastic - the bell boys particularly were so friendly and good conversationalist. The breakfast buffet had a good array of food, too! The gondola was a very short walk- super super convenient. The steam showers were a great touch and the hotel was very quiet! The bed was a bit soft for our taste but overall we would absolutely stay at the Inn again!

Not very pleased with this hotel. The whole hotel went out of power ( only place ) for 5+ hours . They did nothing to make sure guests were taking care of . It was -5 degrees outside so with no heat was very chilly . We went to front desk a couple times asking for blankets and they said they would deliver and never did. No electricity what so ever . Busted my head on door because I could not see anything . Not sure why they wouldn't have a back up generator and or check on their guests. Paying 465$ a night for this kind of service . Won't be returning unfortunately .

My room turned out to be a nicely appointed suite, complete with a kitchen, living room, an extra bathroom and a tiny bedroom. So tiny that there was barely enough room to open the door without it hitting the bed (see photo). The first thing I check in a room is the pillows, and these were not good pillows, 100% polyester fiber. I was too tired to call the front desk and ask for something better, so I had a lousy night's sleep with my Motel 6 pillows. At least I could look forward to hopping into the Jacuuzzi in the morning. Wrong. When I went to take my bath I noticed that the tub had no drain plug. It had been removed, complete with the metal linkage that extends about a foot down into the drain, and placed on the side of the tub (see photo). My bathroom was a work zone. When I called the front desk to let them know, the young lady said they would send someone up. After waiting about forty minutes I called again and the person who answered this time said he would be up right away. He arrived quickly and seemed genuinely shocked that such a thing could happen. He grabbed the drain assembly and then showed me the rooftop outdoor hot tub, which had cocktail straws and God knows what else floating on the surface. No thanks, I shook my head. He assured me that if I wanted to use it he would clean it. When he turned to leave I asked him if he was going to fix the tub. Sounding exactly like Mr. Deeds' butler, he said, "Oh no sir, I cannot fix your tub." I told him I would like to use the bath and he said he would look for something to plug the drain with. After waiting another hour or so I called the front desk for the third time. Deeds' butler answered again and said he hadn't been able to find a plug, but he would keep looking. I told him not to bother as I would be checking out soon. They do offer free wifi, but the signal was so low in my room that my laptop kept losing it and connecting to "Mountain Village Hotspot" which is $5.95 per hour. The suite had two flat screen TVs but no HD content, and not even standard definition HBO. The ice maker in the refrigerator was broken, and as this is such a luxurious hotel, there were no ice machines in the hallway. When I tried to rinse some spilled coffee grounds down the kitchen sink, I found that the sprayer was broken. There were burned out light bulbs in the bathroom. The DVD remote had no batteries. There was something earth toned smeared on one of the walls in the bedroom. On the plus side, the steam shower worked like a charm. Bottom line, like a lot of places in Telluride, this place is ridiculously overpriced, pretentious and offers laughably poor service. If you want to pay a small fortune for a poorly maintained room with low end bedding and an amazingly unresponsive staff, this is your spot! A little post script: I tried to contact the hotel's General Manager via the email link on their website, but - you guessed it - the link is broken... just like most of the stuff in my room! The Inn at Lost Creek goes out of their way to let you know they were on Conde Nast's 2009 top 100 properties in the world list. The award plaque is right there at the front desk and in case you don't see it, the desk clerk will point it out to you. The problem is, I can't find The Inn at Lost Creek on ANY Conde Nast list.

Very solid hotel. The ski valet makes the whole experience worthwhile. The rooms are nice, but our studio had a bit of an awkward layout. The staff is very nice

AMAZING stay! My mom and I ended up adding on an additional night because we were so impressed. Rooms are clean, beautiful, updated appliances, washer/dryer, balcony, and robes are provided. There are two rooftop hot tubs you can reserve (for free) for half hour to full hour slots which was very nice with breathtaking views. Breakfast is included daily with an amazing buffet that served bacon, potatoes, fruit medley, yogurt, toast/bagels, salmon, caprese salad, coffee, orange juice, and more. Gondolas are within town to transport you easily between telluride and mountain village. Only downside to staying here was the mandatory valet parking for $20 nightly and that the hotel did not have a pool. You can walk to a different sister hotel in Mountain Village to use their pool which was about an 8 minute walk or so. Staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd love to return!

I stayed at this hotel during a recent visit to Telluride and absolutely enjoyed my stay. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I stayed in a "deluxe residence" and my room was outfitted with a tiny kitchenette (including a little stovetop), a stackable washer/dryer and a steam shower! The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the queen-sized bed. I would have greatly preferred a king-sized bed in this type of room. The hotel is clean and pet-friendly (I brought my small dog with me) and the hotel restaurant, 9545, was great for breakfast. One thing worth noting if you're not familiar with the Telluride area is that this hotel is in beautiful Mountain Village, which is about a 10 minute (free) gondola ride from Telluride. There are wonderful hiking trails, restaurants and coffee shops all within walking distance of the hotel.

I spent 2 nights here on a cross country trip from CA to PA. Got a great deal on priceline. Awesome place, very nicely appointed room with queen bed, sitting area/couch and a wash/dryer in the bathroom. Great location, nice staff. Breakfast buffet was very tasty as well. Only quip is that I wasn't aware of the mandatory $20/day valet park fee.

My fiance and I stayed here for our first time in Telluride this past weekend, and had an absolutely AMAZING experience! We only stayed 1 night, but wish we stayed for a week! As soon as we pulled up, they were extremely helpful and accommodating to help unload all bags out of the car and walked us to the front desk. They were so genuine throughout the entire check in experience, and made sure that we had everything needed and all of our questions answered. We brought our pup with us, and they gave her so much love and treats! Since the hotel is right next to the gondola to take us into the town of Telluride, we were able to ride that back and forth into town- such a great surprise! The studio that we stayed in was BEAUTIFUL! There was a full washer/dryer, fireplace, dual sinks, jetted tub, robes, steam shower- we absolutely loved it! We also enjoyed the private rooftop hot tub at sunset- such a beautiful and peaceful view of the mountains. We woke up on Sunday morning and unfortunately did have to take our pup to a local vet for an emergency. Being from Denver, we did not know any vets in the area, and many of them were closed since it was a Sunday morning. We went down to the front desk to check out, and they were genuinely concerned and spent so much time finding us a local vet who was available to take a look at our pup right away! They gave us a plate of breakfast as well, since we needed to check out immediately. They even called a few hours later to see how our pup was doing! Everytime we're in Telluride we will always stay here! From the staff to the amazing room, the private hot tub, small touches, and the way that they genuinely cared about the well-being of our pup, we had an amazing experience here and can't wait to come back!

We stayed here for our ski trip this year... Had seen the place a few years ago when we were in telluride. You can't get more ski in/ski out... They even bring your skis outside for you everyday, and take then back in, so you literally walk out, snap in and start skiing! The staff was incredible - everyone was so friendly and helpful! We stayed in a junior suite on the too floor (watch your head - the angles on the roof do affect the ceiling!) we enjoyed cooking in the room (range top and microwave) for our lunches and dinner one evening too. The steam bath and jacuzzi tub in the room were awesome! Room service came more than once a day to clean and turn down the bed. We went to the roof top tubs everyday too - you reserve time spots, but they were always open when we wanted them. The view is good up there and it's nice to relax. They have fresh cookies pretty much all day in the lobby as well as flavored water, apple cider and/or coffee. The breakfast buffet was included every morning, nothing crazy fancy - just basic good breakfast foods, same thing everyday (cereals, yogurt and berries, bacon and sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, salmon, biscuits also with juice, coffee and waters). It was all delicious! We would definitely stay here again, had a wonderful time!!

This place is an amazing value (at least in the off season). Stayed here for a night in June -- rack rates were ~$200 & we found a discount down to ~$155, which was a screaming deal when you consider what you got: - "room" was actually a small apartment with sitting room w/ flatscreen, bedroom w/another flatscreen, big bathroom w/ large tub & shower that doubled as steam room, gallery kitchenette with electric cooktop, microwave, fridge, sink, etc, little balcony off the sitting area, a small washer/dryer, etc. And a gas fireplace in the dividing wall between the bedroom & sitting area. Rooms were quite small but it was cozy, and hey, to get what's basically a whole condo for that price? you could hang out here really comfortably, as compared to most hotel rooms where you don't want to do anything there but sleep. - as previous reviews mentioned: yeah ours was a queen sized bed not a king, but personally we prefer that queen size. For the footage of the space, I'd rather have a queen size bed plus the separate sitting area instead of one big-ass king bed and no sitting area. Bed & bedding was very comfortable by our standards. YMMV. - Convenient walking distance both to multiple stores, bars, restaurants in Mountain Village and to the free gondolas that go down to Telluride. Once you're here, you really don't have to drive. - Walking or free gondola distance to the other little shopping area at Mountain Village, which has the supermarket. Or, you can pay the staff to do a shopping run for you. - Valet was $20/night and mandatory -- all cars go into underground heated parking. - breakfast was included at the Thai restaurant there in the hotel -- which sounds odd, but the food was great -- it had the usual American favorites for breakfast, plus some European preferences (things like cheese for breakfast), plus some things with a Thai twist. - quiet, at least in the off season. We saw another ~12-15 guests total. Not the place to stay if you want a party scene (again, in the summer -- the place is probably more hopping in the winter). - overall seemed more like an adults & couples place than a family & kids place. YMMV. - Staff people were pleasant and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

Located directly across from the ski lifts, gondolas and adjacent to the entire center of the nightlife, the Inn at Lost Creek was a wonderful place to spend our long weekend at. They have the friendliest and caring staff we've ever encountered. The room was incredible; including a fire place, W&D, very comfortable bed, free wi-fi available on all floors, small kitchen in room, two porches to look out and enjoy the brisk dry-cold & snowy weather. The inn is a dramatic and romantic place with a lobby made to feel like a winter home. The bar included a very friendly and comedic bartender with the most excellent hot toddy's I've ever had. There is a reason the drink takes 8 minutes to make! We did not come with our own equipment, but it was a breeze to get lift tickets and rentals included in a single package for us. If you bring equipment they have a free equipment valet service. Directly below the Inn is a store to get your rental equipment and they take care of the whole process, just get your boots from there and pick up & drop off your rental equip at the valet located next to the hotel on the way to the lift. They also have a private parking garage so you don't need to park in public area, since we had driven up from phoenix. If you are looking to stay at a luxurious hotel and an array of amenities, or you are looking for a great place to stay in the central part of mountain village with easy access to telluride, you don't need to look any further.

This darling Inn is the ultimate chateau experience for your getaway to the Alps of America! The service is incredible - my daughter knew most of the staff by name after just the first day. Ben the ski valet put this first time skier at complete ease, Jen in the breakfast room was a wonderful friend by the end of our trip. The Inn is so accommodating of every need. We love access to the Peaks pool, our nightly reservation at the private hot tub, fresh fruit and waters i the room daily and the enormous soaking tub with jets right next to the steam shower! This is the perfect place to stay as a couple or with 1-2 small children. It's close to everything and feels tucked away at the same time. We're working on our plan to return!

I don't believe words can even come close to describing how amazing an experience we had at this extraordinary hotel. The staff are simply top notch and wonderful in all that they do. From the moment we arrived we were greeted very warmly and our luggage very carefully unloaded from our vehicle. Information on the property was plentiful and India at the front desk provided a very detailed overview of breakfast the following day and everything else that was completed at booking. Shane (I believe that was his name) gave us a quick overview of where everything was located on the first floor and made sure we had all of our questions answered. We were in town for the Blues & Brews festival and had opted to start out our stay for the weekend here and then camp on the festival grounds for a few days before heading home, once we were met by the staff and shown our room we quickly changed our minds and opted to shorten our camp and book an extra day on Sunday here at the Inn before heading home Monday. The universe had different plans for us and we had to abbreviate our stay and cut short our Telluride Blues & Brews adventure to head home. We had already purchased the full package of camping and 3 day concert passes and wanted to sell those to minimize our losses. Samuel at the front desk was most helpful and courteous even going out of his way to offer finding a buyer for the tickets. It all worked out amazingly. We also had to cancel our Sunday that we had booked and Matt the manager was very thorough and responded very sympathetically to our situation, the hotel was experiencing system problems and our booking hadn't fully taken so we were not charged a fee for short cancellation notice but he was very diligent in communicating the whole process to me and even extended a welcome on our next Telluride adventure. Had the systems not had a problem I feel the staff would have helped us minimize our loss anyways as that's just the way this establishment seems to be run. I also wanted to mention that India and Stuart were very accommodating in my requests to go down to the car a few times after it had already been delivered to valet to obtain items that we had not removed prior. They were so helpful and friendly. At the end of our time having to leave in a rush, Peter was also very helpful in that he replaced our leaking and melting bag of ice in our cooler with a brand new reinforced bag of ice. My girl also forgot her water bottle in the lobby and as we were getting ready to depart he ran it out to her. As I said....I don't feel that words are enough to say all that the hotel and staff were able to do to help us minimize our losses on the trip and also provide a wonderful and comfortable time while we were there. The breakfast spread is delicious and quite varied to suit almost any taste. I highly recommend these folks and am quite looking forward to the next time I get to stay at The Inn at Lost Creek. Thank you again to this wonderful staff.

My fiancé and I came for a weekend to celebrate our engagement! Not only did the front desk let us check in 3 hours early but we were also offered a complementary room upgrade! We had our dog with us as well and they provided him with free treats, food and water bowls as well as a doggie bed! The free breakfast was delicious and had a large selection. All the staff are very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!

We'd never gone to Telluride before and found a good deal on a room here. The views (cheapest rooms) were obstructed so we weren't too happy. The management was very helpful and upgraded us to a better room at no charge as it was midweek, offseason, and they were not full. The new room had great views of the mountains and lifts and we were quite happy with it. The personnel were very nice and helpful and we strongly recommend the inn.

Stayed only 2 nights, mid July. I wish it was the whole week! I liked the room setup where the bathroom was around the corner, and was surprised to see a full-size washer/dryer, and kitchenette setup with dishes and everything. They thought of all the details. Secure place for our mountain bikes, dog bed for pup (she loved the bed so much she didn't want to leave) the human bed was heavenly, and we loved the little balcony for our pizza/wine date night looking up at the mountain. The room charge included breakfast, and it was a full-on "more than you can eat in one sitting" breakfast! Just stellar. Nothing was lacking. Staff - oh so friendly, they all knew the dog's name, had to keep asking for ours... (typical, everyone loves the dog...). I would love to stay a week here for skiing as well as mountain-biking or hiking, and I've never felt that way about a hotel before, wishing I could spend 2 weeks out of the year here. Everything was immaculate and perfect, and the little surprises (the chocolate, hand lotion, foot cream, special teas) just made me smile. I just know the dog is not going to forgive us if we go without her...

We stayed for 2 nights before Christmas and LOVED this place. It has all the amenities you could want. It's a true ski-in, ski-out at the base of the Village Express lift and the ski valet is quick and helpful, as are all of the staff we encountered. Our days started with a fantastic breakfast buffet which was included with the room and ended with soaks in one of the two private rooftop hot tubs (you can book private, hour-long soaks). Freshly baked cookies and hot cider are always present at the front desk, as are a variety of clif bars at the ski valet. They are dog-friendly with a fee of just $25 per night. We had the junior suite which included a mini-kitchen and a fireplace open to both the bedroom and living area. It was a cozy, comfy set-up that we really enjoyed. We typically stay in town or at the Peaks but the Inn at Lost Creek is much nicer and we'll definitely be back.

Amazing service. Every detail about the room was just right. Very friendly staff. We brought a service dog and they had a dog bed and treats waiting for us in the room. The restaurant staff knew about our food allergies in advance and took great care of us. Breakfast was fantastic. Complimentary NYT, cookies, bottled water, even a bottle of local wine in the room. Watching the sunset from the rooftop hot tub was the best!

Let me start of by saying that this place is INCREDIBLE with a capital 'I' in the off season, and so is the price. Hubby and I decided to stay here in early October for our honeymoon (we are very non-traditional to say the least) and we could not have been happier. The Mountain Village was a ghost town and we walked around like we owned the place. The Gondola that takes you down into Telluride was so much fun, and we actually saw live elk on the hill!! The price we paid was literally 1/4 of the price our room would have been during ski season. The staff was wonderfully accommodating. The private time they secured for us to have our bottle of Dom on the roof in the hot tub was sublime. This week we spent together at The Inn At Lost Creek could not have been any better.

We were snowed in at the Denver airport for a day and half. We were unable to get flight into Montrose(Telluride). Without a favorable end in sight we decided to return home to Florida. We contacted the Inn and told them of our problem and cancelled our reservation. We expected to lose our deposit but in the end they charged us for the entire weeks stay. Talk about kicking a skier already down. No regard for our lost vacation just concern for their bottom line. Not again. TC

My now fiance and I learned of the Inn at Lost Creek through a Living Social Escapes deal where we purchased 2 nights at the hotel for a discounted rate that included Free Valet Service, a complimentary bottle of wine, as well asd breakfast both mornings. It was extremely easy to redeem the coupon and the front desk was very helpful in planning our stay. Without me know of course. my then boyfriend was planning his proposal for the weekend we were going to be up in Telluride at the Inn at Lost Creek. He called the front desk several weeks before we were suppose to arrive to see if he could arrange some special plans for us. Amber at the front desk was SO helpful and went above and beyond to help him arrange this special event. She recommended lovely locations we should visit, a place to have a picnic and she even made dinner reservations for us at Allred's the night of our engagement to celebrate. SHE WAS WONDERFUL! In addition to all this my fiance brought some roses, champagne, and such to be placed in our hotel room from when we returned from his proposal plans. Wonderful Amber and a few other staff members scattered all the rosed pedals in the room, chilled the champagne for us and truly made the experience that much more memorable. They really went above and beyond for us. The hotel was clean, the environment was calming yet fun, our breakfasts we had at their 9545 restaurant was tasty and came quickly with friendly and attentive staff. It was the off season and things were a bit more quiet and slow but I loved the entire experience and will be forever grateful for their help in making it a truly memorable weekend.
